The service we received at y o f i was exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed an early January break our evening meal and breakfast with superb and the wine list was very very reasonable. A lovely place to just relax and sit back in front of a beautiful log fire
Unfortunately due to several large parties during the day several items were not available on the menu, what we did have however was outstanding despite initial disappointment of not being able to have a steak
General atmosphere and staff were friendly and a great location
Hard to criticize
Great food and lovely room
Location very good - but (no fault of property!) the river was in flood and parking was affected and outside was affected. Breakfast was good as was the pub meal. Great bar, very good choice of good ales and ciders. Our room was very pleasant with a great view: the bathroom was good, but not quite the top standard. The manager, Tim, was outstandingly good.
The access to the top floor was difficult - an old building with narrow stairs - difficult if you have mobility problems. The thin walls transmitted noise - but there was no real a problem during our stay.
Always a warm welcome from staff, breakfast very good and location absolutely magic. Bedrooms comfortable and clean. Would recommend to all. The area is so beautiful and the Ferrie Inn is the perfect place to stay.
Nothing comes to mind. All good.
