Pros: Breakfast was VERY good and home cooked on the spot! Rooms are big and quiet, hammock was nice, and free bikes to ride was bonus! A+++
Pros: We love this gem that honors old Florida history and gives guests a nice respite from the everyday! Denise and Andy are fantastic hosts!!
Pros: The family was friendly and the place was clean!
Pros: Bed was incredible!
Pros: Friendly service, good breakfast, loved the room decorations, really fun, and they gave us a small cheese tray when we arrived, and there was wine available too!
Pros: Quaint but very comfortable. Owners were extremely welcoming with a drink and cheese snack on arrival. Clean and comfortable rooms. Local area rural and scenic with waterside restaurant and music. Traditional feel.
Pros: Location, clean and friendly. Very thoughtful as they have a very nice cheese and fruit plate waiting for our arrival.
Pros: We loved the screened in front porch, the hammock on the back upper porch, the cleanliness, the friendliness of the woman who works here....she was awesome!....and the personal touches. This property was a perfect end to a perfect work/vacation trip!
Pros: The staff, breakfast was incredible
Pros: We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Inn. The photos on line don't really do justice to the size of the rooms (they are larger than they appear in the photos) and for the quality of the furnishings. The common area was clean and spacious and there were lots of bicycles available to borrow to ride on the rail to trail near by. The breakfast buffet was nice: scrambled eggs, grits with cheese, bacon, breads & bagels, and a big bowl of fresh fruit. In the fridge was yogurt. Hot coffee was plentiful. We were really thankful that the Inn does not raise their rates during FSU's commencement weekend like every other hotel in the area, for that was our main reason for staying. But we liked staying here so much that we will return for a getaway to enjoy the nearby activities.
Cons: The nature of the wooden floor on the second floor causes some noise intrusion into the room when people are stomping around, but less than I had worried about upon arrival.
With a stay at The Lodge at Wakulla Springs in Crawfordville, you'll be 0.2 mi (0.3 km) from Wakulla Springs State Park and 17.1 mi (27.5 km) from SouthWood Golf Club. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The hotel gives a unique experience with the charm and fixtures and fittings of the era in which it was built - evocative of a bigone age. Wonderful location at Wakulla Springs, near unmissable boat tours and trails and friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Reflecting the era in which it was built it feels like you are staying as a guest in an upmarket country house so some fittings are older, sound proofing is not perfect. Overall the experience is more than worth it.
Pros: Beautiful hotel and surroundings. Such a romantic place with enhanced experience once the day trippers leave. Swimming in the cold lake was very refreshing! Temp was 33'c outside and 15'c in lake.
Cons: I think breakfast should be included
Pros: Absolute peace and quiet. A true get away from the rigors of daily life.
Cons: Temperature control in the room was difficult. Thankfully a box fan was provided. Water pressure in the shower was very weak. Short staffing for breakfast in the dining room was obvious. None of these minor gripes would prevent us from returning.
Pros: Was just a great place to stay. Very beautiful hotal and spring.
Pros: Wonderful historical inn in a beautiful park with friendly staff and great restaurant.
Cons: Nothing...loved it
Pros: Location and boat tour
Cons: Disappointed in supper. First three items ordered they were out of
Pros: Wonderful meals!!!
Pros: Bed was comfortable. Egg (easy over) was delicious. Presentation was attractive.
Cons: Sausage/gravy on biscuit was cold and sausage pieces too spicy for my taste.
Pros: The lodge is magnificent, as are the grounds. We enjoyed the trails and the ranger-led boat trip exceeded our expectations.
Cons: Service in the dining room was very slow, both at dinner and at breakfast. Perhaps they are short-staffed?
Pros: The location was surprising. I did not realize that it was on the actual Spring location. I enjoyed the fact of no TV. It made you have to spend quality, quiet time away from the hustle. The rooms were nice. It did get quiet at night and maybe some white noise or something would of been nice. The staff was nice, they did not give out too much information and it seemed like you had to pry location information out of them so maybe they could be more informative instead of just handing you a sheet of paper.
Cons: The restaurant could of provided more budget friendly meal options. Some people don't like all the fancy stuff and the prices are not always in some peoples budget. I understand it is a higher upscale restaurant but still. Also, it would of been kind of nice to be able to access the springs or swimming areas after the crowds went away.
Pros: Perfect location. Especially when all daytime visitors leave it is a magical and calm place. The lodge has a charming atmosphere. You should definitely take boat tour. And enjoy the spring in the morning before the swimming area opens... That is when all the animals are there.
Cons: I booked via booking.com and got the worst room of all. It was right next to the ancient elevator. Everytime the elevator was used it was super noisy in the room. Since I have a very light sleep I woke up several times in the night. I asked the staff whether I could change the room. They were not fully booked so technically there were plenty of rooms available. Unfortunately, they replied that they could not change my room as I booked with a third party (I.e. booking.com). That was frustrating... I had the feeling that this was also the reason why I ended up with this room in the first place. Honestly, I do not understand where the problem lies if there are plenty of rooms available. So thumbs down in terms of customer service.

Cons: Freezer was unusable. Some had left a pile of ice that took up the entire cavity. Couldn’t even get it out using a hairdryer.
Pros: Staff was friendly, breakfast was great, and loved the fountain in the courtyard! The room was well stocked and had amenities we weren't even expecting like the mini fridge and microwave. Overall such a nice experience at a very comfortable place and affordable price.
Pros: Good breakfast and peaceful stay.
Pros: Didn’t eat breakfast
Cons: The shower was a bit dirty
Pros: Great value.
Cons: Softer & smoother bed sheets.
Cons: Seedy, dismal hotel. The room smelled so bad from chemical we had to prop the door open for an hour. It still made me very ill all night. Nausea, red eyes, headache Slept very poorly. Filthy carpets, I kept socks on. Didn't feel better until we were an hour out from thete. Breakfast was pitiful. Lazy slovenly workers left nothing replenished. Not even the plastic utensils. Truly cannot recommend this unless you are extremely desperate for a place to stay. If you have sensitivity to chemicals, bypass it completely
Pros: The room was clean. The staff was courteous. The breakfast was good.

Pros: waffles were good. Staff other than manager were helpful and courteous.
Cons: Reservations got mixed up. I reserved 3 rooms 2 were for 2 people each and 1 was a single. They put 2 people in the single bed room instead and single in the 2 queen bed room. I was charged for an extra night for one of the rooms and then it was corrected. Manager was rude.

Pros: breakfast was good.. location was great, to get to the springs and the wildlife management areas.
Cons: my first room had a very musty/wet smell to it. the second one had a pillow with a stain, makeup and hair on it, clearly hadn't been changed so i worried about sheets. the bed was kinda hard.
