Centrally located close to everything as sights like Hermitage, bars and restaurants and metro. Room was generally clean.
Nevski prospect is just too loud in general. Without closing the window it was just too noisy (taken into account we are living in central Berlin and are used to have a lot of noise)! So although we don’t like it we urgently need to sleep with aircon and got a cold. Individual pictures of the rooms doesn’t fit to the actual ones. Room was much smaller than shown individually. just small space around the bed and a very thin cabinet. Carpet seems to be not being washed for years. So it smells in the rooms. Hard to find the apartment at first time as there are no signs until the 3rd floor - you need to enter the entry of a pasta store first. Staff couldn’t speak English a word and was just unfriendly by ignoring and not welcoming us in any way and just throwing 2 invoices and the key in the desk. There are better hotels/rooms for sure!

Restaurant aspirator noise in front of the room window, hole at the centre of the mattress, no elevator, when you say that hotel staff will assist with booking the sightseeing, excursion or tickets, make restaurant reservation etc. it should not be: - go around the corner and in front of the metro you will see people selling boat tours...

I didn't get a breakfast, tea, or coffee. The hotel is convenient to where I needed to go.
There was no elevator for a person with a bad back.

Staff were lovely and so helpful. They were excellent in helping with the visa invitation, etc (brilliant help!). The location is exceptional. It is so close to the Hermitage and being on Nevsky Prospekt was a bonus! The hotel staff were wonderful in booking taxis. We were contacted a few days (completely by surprise) before our trip to arrange a shuttle bus (which ended up being a private car!). We hadn't arranged this, so we were very pleased with the hotel for sorting this out completely unsolicited.
Beautiful St Petersburg is buzzing into the early hours of the morning. If you're after a super quiet room, it's best to mention this to staff. We were right at the front and it can be a bit loud at times. If you can't use stairs, it's best not to book this hotel. There is no lift. As I understand, this is quite standard in many hotels across St Petersburg, but it's best to be aware of it. It wouldn't be great for people with any sort of walking disability.
