The Beverly Hills Hotel is one of the most popular hotels in the Hollywood area, and it's located on Sunset Boulevard. It's where guests don't have to be celebrities to be treated like stars. The hotel is about 40 minutes from the Los Angeles International Airport and about an hour from the Pacific Ocean. It's also surrounded by ancient palm trees and lush gardens. Here, visitors can host lavish weddings in one of its exquisite ballrooms. The spa room allows guests to partake in massages and facials, and it even offers weekly yoga classes. Guests can stay in a room, a suite, or a signature suite. Some of the guest rooms have simple layouts like beds, desks, and chairs while others possess more elaborate features like fireplaces and bowls of fruit in addition to furniture. The Fountain Coffee Room has been in existence since 1949. This on-site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and offers 1950s-style counter service. The Polo Lounge is where guests can chit-chat and hang out. This room has a bar, an outdoor patio, and live music. This hotel is across the street from Will Rogers Memorial Park, a park with walking paths and a pond. The Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation holds a vast collection of modern art. Pros: The service staff was great, enjoyed the hotel staff cars (Mercedes and Rolls Royce) taking us to shopping locations/lunch... and picking us up. The hotels artwork, decor and architecture is one of the best in the World, and we have travelled most of Europe and stayed in their 5 start hotels. The Beverly Wishire gets 5 Stars+ in my book, my 2nd time their and I will return again soon. Dr Phil M

7.1 Good
Pros: Very nice room. Great facilities.
Cons: Terribly overpriced. Nothing is included in the base price. The fact that the room was well over $400 a night one would imagine that the wifi and breakfast ought to be included. The bar and restaurant are also too expensive for what they offer in terms of quality and choice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everthing
Cons: Lack of power outlets near bed. But had a wonderful time
7.7 Good
Pros: Interior decorations, bartenders, the lady at Altitude that walked my friends and I to the daybeds, and the drinks
Cons: Customer service, mixing up the reservations, the room smelling like cigarette smoke after have it serviced, luggage bags were not delivered until after 3 hours of checking in, and the hand held shower head would leak water when the dial to only have the shower head was on.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Service staff in main hotel is amazing
Cons: Pool staff could have been a little quicker, the lobby staff way better
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is just outstanding. Incredibly nice, helpful and well trained. The hotel is luxurious and the rooms are very spacious and clean.
Cons: The SLS is an extremely hip and funky hotel. The common areas and rooms are ultra-modern and cool, which some may like, but we are, I guess, just not hip enough to appreciate it. Part of that hip ambiance is a distinct lack of lighting. The lobby area and rooms always seem dark. We were constantly looking for another light to turn on in the room. The rooms and especially the bathrooms/shower have mirrors everywhere. This is horrifying, especially when taking a shower. I guess that appeals to the ultra fit hipster who is there with hs supermodel girlfriend. That would not be us. The guests - A lot of self-important hipsters and hollywood types.

3.1 Mediocre
Cons: the accommodation is terrible, short of staff, everything is so expensive, I'm expecting five star accommodation, instead I'm getting a terrible room with nothing to offer, I wouldn't recommend to any friend of mine.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: With the exception of the Tiwer Rooms, thebathrooms are a problem. The shower/bath combination does not even have a towel bar to hold onto when exiting the tub. The toilet paper holder is more than an arm’s length from the toilet! Otherwise it’s a wonderful hotel & the Tower rooms are perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Views. Spacious rooms. Service. Location. Amenities. Workout facility.

5.7 Okay
Cons: $35 resort fee is just plain stupid. This is not a resort hotel. Stayed 3 nights cost $1500. Parking, fee etc brings the number to $500 range and that opens up other hotels that are much more luxurious. My room was clean but looked at the inner court, and the decoration looked like a Marriott. I can imagine people stay here simply because if the name Rodeo Drive. Mediocre.

Cons: The dinning room is too small and the food not very good.

6.0 Good
Pros: Good location; great proximity to downtown restaurants and shops. Bed was comfortable, front desk staff was friendly.
Cons: Bathroom was dingy and difficult to use. Floor, shower and sink basin are concrete and not desirable in any way. Bathroom sink ackward and not conducive to even washing hands. Floor looked dirty. I expected much more from a traditional BH Hotel. Spent a brief moment in the bar. Bar staff was inattentive and aloof. Thermostat in the room was broken and the room was cold all night. I'm the morning, no valet until 7:00 a.m. I had to fetch my own car from the parking garage across the street. I am not likely to return...

Cons: Cramped room No drinking glasses in room No where to open luggage except on bed

Pros: Over all the whole package.
Cons: Not one thing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel itself was very alluring. The dark theme made me feel at home. I like the fact it was a renovated apartment building. The finishes and fixtures were very modern. Great and friendly staff
Cons: The IPad room service needs to be modified. We tried to order breakfast, and after 45 mins of not receiving it, we went downstairs to find out where the order was, and they had only "now" put it in. They could have better coffee machines. I personally do not like drinking espresso in the morning over a cup of coffee.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, modern look, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Heating/cooling fan made noise, water leaked outside the shower.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: location
Cons: slow elevator

Overview Reviews
California cool meets manicured elegance at SIXTY Beverly Hills. Standing alone among Los Angeles luxury hotels as a serene outpost at the foot of the Hollywood hills, this modern Beverly Hills hotel blends upscale comfort with custom made furniture and unexpected design elements.
6.8 Good
Pros: The staff is very nice and the balcony in the room was a nice touch.
Cons: Very inflexible, no option for late checkout or even a cup of coffee on the roof... forget complmentary coffee The bathroom was pretty run down, there were stickers on the ceiling and they didn't even provide bodywash! There was only ONE waitress at the cocktail bar on the roof. It took forever to get a menu and then even more time to place my order. I had one drink and just said "forget it." I've stayed at their hotels in NYC in the past and was blown away by the amazing experience I had there, here I wasn't For the price, I can't say I'd stay at this location again.
6.0 Good
Pros: I liked the location of the Sixty because it was very close to my daughters apartment.
Cons: When we arrived late at night they told me my reservation had been cancelled even though I had called ahead and they told me everything was fine with the reservation. They luckily were able to accommodate us but was told the manager was doing us a favor and didn't want to send two girls out into the streets at that hour! Bathroom didn't look too clean and the drain wouldn't work. The staff was responsive in fixing it though.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Pool area / decor / location / staff
Cons: Bed/mattress
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the facilities were great, the roof deck was nice and the location was ideal.
Overview Reviews
Quintessentially L.A; Avalon Hotel Beverly Hills sets the tone for hip repose with a boomerang-shaped pool surrounded by private cabanas—some with sweeping views of the city. Tucked in a secluded residential neighborhood adjacent to Beverly Hills’ world-class restaurants and shops, the hotel was built in 1949 and frequented by the likes of Marilyn Monroe. Thanks to contemporary style icon Kelly Wearstler, the 84 rooms and suites—many with kitchenettes or private patios—still blend Old Hollywood roots with a distinct 1950s vibe. A full-service wellness studio and Viviane Restaurant, under the helm of award-winning chef Michael Hung, round out a scene in which one experiences the casual “patio lifestyle” and laidback sophistication that is unique to Southern California.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: I was "upgraded" to the penthouse suite, which turned out to be a pull out couch. This was an awful hotel and was a complete joke for $600 a night.
6.0 Good
Pros: Room was clean and had nice soaps
Cons: Had a neighbor with a dog and our rooms were adjoining rooms. Walls were thin and could hear everything from the nose blowing of the neighbors to the barking dog and the outside chatting from the restaurant by the pool. Some of the window blinds were broken. Luckily it was pretty peaceful past 11pm so was able to sleep but the morning got pretty loud from neighbors checking out.
6.5 Good
Pros: I like the retro vibe
Cons: The rooms are tired and need to be spruced up. Service was so/so
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location and clean overall unit.
Cons: Parking and resort fees seemed excessive. The elevator also stopped working towards the end of our trip.

Pros: Down/like pillows. Very comfortable.
Cons: The room had a raid/bug spray odor. The shower although beautifully marble tiled, had a methane smell, perhaps sewer gas while in use. It is also very small. No bathtub. $ 200 + for this room. Spent $100 less at the comfort inn in Sherman Oaks and the room was superior. Go figure ....

Pros: The location the facility as a whole, it smelled stale. The finish was terrible!!
Cons: Everything about the hotel, there is potential but the owners should invest immediately. I would never stay there again!!
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: This place was the worst hotel I have ever seen. There was nothing nice about it.
Cons: The staff was surly and argumentative, tried to lure me into an argument. They said they needed to reserve $150 on my credit card for incidentals but instead reserved $200. The room was dirty and smelly and I saw bugs in the bed and rat droppings on the floor, so I checked out but they would not refund my payment and instead charged me extra for the cancellation. This place is the worst. You will regret it if you book a room here.
