Hostel Pangea

The hostel is really clean. Friendly staff.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Pool clean. The hostel itself is super cool! The room was nice and was not too small and there was hot water!! It is an excellent price, obviously. Safe place. Spacious place with a terrace and nice rooms and bathrooms as well as good Wifi.

There was no keys to the rooms given. The place was in disrepair. Lights missing and no locks on the shower. It was dark and frankly looked abandoned. The place was virtually empty, for the aforementioned reason. If you want quiet, you are in luck. There was a late partying going on. One of two staff members was extremely impolite and loud. Room floor was dirty, cashless payment was unavailable despite the pandemic, didn't mention anywhere online at time of booking that restaurant and bar are currently closed. The place is really dirty, the floor in our room hadn't been cleaned at all, there were dead spiders and cigarette butts. The sheets were also dirty.

The place was virtually empty due to the pandemic. The hostel cannot be blamed for this reality. The hostel has great potential, and judging by the photos, it had reached this potential pre-covid. Any disappointment that I experienced was probably due to covid. The hostel is downtown and is a safe place. The hostel is a good location, a 10-minute walk from the 7-10 bus station.

The hostel offers a pool table, gift shop, storage available, and laundry facilities. Additionally, there is a 24hr front desk and airport shuttle service.
