Pros: Great pool, nice views of the beach, friendly staff and top notch room. If you go in June there aren't a lot of tourists so the hotel is yours!
Pros: We stayed in the off season (early May) as our friends had their sail boat moored at the marina, and we drove down to Isla de Navidad from Puerto Vallarta. It is a long 4 hour drive, but was well ...
Cons: The wi-fi in the rooms is spotty at best, most probably because of the thick walls and construction. I was able to get a reasonable connection at times on the veranda, but had much better luck in the ...
Pros: Beautiful location, friendly staff, great off season value.
Cons: Needs some updates.
Pros: Stunning setting of hotel on marina. Lavish breakfast buffet. Musician in lobby. Potent cocktails.
Cons: WiFi only worked in lobby. Have to take water taxi to nearby town (Barra). Pool closed at 5pm.
Pros: I felt this was a good value for the money. The pool area was great and the breakfast each morning good too.
Cons: This was advertised as free wifi but our room did not have wifi in the room.
Pros: We would have liked to stay longer Lovely property very relaxing
Cons: Wifi in our room would be great as I was working
Pros: Lots of areas to explore and go to when we wanted quiet time.
Cons: The chairs/cushions in rooms and in the outside dining area by the pool are in dire need of replacement.
Pros: The buffet is excellent! The rooms are splendid. I couldn't have been more pleased.
Cons: Wifi in rooms
Pros: Beautiful grounds Great breakfast Live music in bar Liked our pool on 10 th floor
Cons: Service vehicles noisy in early morning
Pros: Our second time visiting Grand Bay Hotel, although it appears Wyndham owns it now, the sign still says Grand Bay. The staff and the architecture are the best things about the hotel. The pools are cool, which is welcome in January/early February when we visited. I agree that they are likely somewhat understaffed as it can take time to get a beverage around the pool. Most of the really good restaurants over in Barra are the same, though, very leisurely service wth very good food. They strive to please at the hotel. Water taxi service to Barra and the Marina at Isla de Navidad runs constantly and is always a pleasant little adventure.
Cons: It doesn't bother me, but this is not like other coastal communities with a nice beach, the alternatives to use kayaks, jet skis and other water toys makes up for it. We took jet skis to Melaque on a previous trip.
Pros: Older, charming. Excellent people working there. Very proud and informative. Could easily become an all around 5 star resort. Would like to return...
Cons: Beds are very hard. Many areas in need of maintenance or repairs. The undesirable things I've seen, in my opinion, are due to understaffing.

Pros: It was a typical Mexican beach town, and this hotel was not on the beach, but was only a short walk from the ocean and many restaurants.
Cons: As I was leaving, one of the gardeners, Octavio, pointed out that my front tire was flat. He charged me 250 p. to put my spare on. When I went to a tire store to get my tire fixed, there was nothing...

Cons: Could use an ice machine. Very windy lobby/bar area during mid afternoon
Pros: Location and design of hotl. Lobby is open from street to beach so nice breeze blows through. Swimming pool is beautiful overlooking beach. Had decent bar and restaurant which is convenient.
Cons: Lightimg in room could be improved . It would be nice to have reading lights over bed or chair for nighttime reading.
Cons: Staff not helpful. Front office was rude.
Pros: Great place to stay right on the beach and close to everything in this nice little town. The onsite restaurant was handy and responsive.
