Pros: The view from the terrace.. all over the bay The pancakes at the breakfast The welcoming of the staff.. very friendly
Cons: The fan and the big light in our room didn’t work so we were a bit in the darkly night No WiFi in the room, just in the main terrace A bit hard to reach if you’re coming with a suitcase
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic owners. The bungalow was really great, large accommodation, great views from the balcony. But especially the talks we had during breakfast were really enjoyable. The owner is a really great guy to talk to, he has lots of stories to tell. And the breakfast is amazing. We never had so much good food in the morning. So every morning we had 1 or 2 hours of breakfast, enjoying the talks, enjoying the view. Really nice atmosphere, this was definitely the best place we stayed during our 1-month visit in the Philippines!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was amazing. Best we had in the Philippines. Santa Claus and his wife are very welcoming and caring. We really enjoyed our stay
Cons: Fan on the ceiling was broken but they provided an alternative... which was a little less performant
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice place with great views and amazing people. We could not stayed in better place. On top of that the breakfast is delicious, they helped us organizing all the activities & transfer. Peter and his family are super helpful and friendly, we feel like at home!
Cons: 2 minutes walking to Port Barton main street, however the wonderful views make the location worth it! :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: LOVE this place. The owners Quirleigh and Dieter go out of their way to make it a pleasant stay. Rooms are very spacious, clean and have a wonderful bathroom. Location is amazing! Just don't bring too much luggage as it is on a hill. Breakfast is wonderful (especially the pancakes!) and the beach is less than 10 minutes walking through town. It is a home away from home.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved our stay, staff went above and beyond and were happy to help us despite us checking in very late and she even made us breakfast sandwiches to go for an early morning departure.

9.2 Excellent (710 reviews)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We arrived and fell in love with Russell Place. We stayed in a room for two with fan and it was great. Everything is clean and the attention could not be better. It has a little kitchen, lockers to put your values and a really nice common area. Wifi works very good and it has hot showers. If we go back to Port Barton, we would definitely stay there again :)
Cons: Nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, the owner can arrange anything for you. Best shower and toilet facilities we’ve had in Palawan so far, the overhead showers are lovely. Very clean room, no bugs at all. Would happily stay here again.
Cons: Nothing bad to say at all!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds, great host and perfect atmosphere
Cons: Quite far from Port Barton beach
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed my stay at Russell's place. Although it's quite a long walk to the beach and the bars, but if you're into a laidback, safe and a quiet place then definitely book here. I booked a bed in a dorm but since it was low season that I was there, I had the entire hut for myself. It was great! The hosts (Russell and Jen) were very kind, approachable and helpful. You will absolutely feel at home if you stay there.
Cons: Quite a long walk to the beach and the center
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is the best hostel i've stayed in wile being in the philippines. The staff were super friendly and very informative. The beds were very comfy and also big. It's in a very quiet area,10 minute walk to the beach. I would highly recommend this place.
Cons: N/A
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Huts/Rooms - great design Bed - comfortable and big. Can even fit two people (for my size tho). Have mosquito net, own lamp, own fan and three sockets each bed Common Area - great place to meet new people Bathroom - frequently cleaned and well provided with paper towels Staff - friendly, helpful and welcoming. They will help you book transfers and boat tours cheaper than the others Freebies - unlimited coffee and papertowels
Cons: Location - quite a bit far from the beachfront and have muddy road though they are working on it now so in few months it will be cemented and free from mud
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Warm shower, privacy in the dorm, the kitchen, hammock, the place were we can all chill, quiet place, fan in every bed
Cons: Wifi is a bit weak but it's everywhere like that in Port barton A bit outside of the village so you need to walk a bit but not really a problem and at the end it's quiet

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and dinner were good. Roberto made sure we were attended to properly, a hands on owner.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent place to walk, enjoy nature and escape the noise
Cons: Nothing, is was all good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Robert and Telma (the hotel owner and his companion) are nothing short of spectacular. They received us with a big smile and a huge welcome into their little place of heaven. The hotel is located 2 minutes away from San Vicente airport right into the beach. Although hotel beach is not the best for bathing (see Long Beach) it is great to watch the sunrise or sunset in the companion of your most important one while drinking some drinks by the hotel bar. The hotel includes motorbike rental for 350php half-day or 600php full-day which is nice considering the property is 3km away from the village center and because every single place of interest in San Vicente is not within an acceptable walking distance. The first day we rented a motorcycle we had a hole in the tire that we went to fix in a nearby store by the road and due to the extended damage we ended up changing the air chamber (for only 5€ including). Considering the cost of the repair Telma issued us only half day of rental (instead of a full day). Besides Telma also booked our transportation to the following city (so we did not had to worry about it) while Roberto provided us with some of his insights on where to have a good meal in the village. To resume our stay in one word: amazing :)
Cons: While in the Philippines this was the only hotel that did not provided us filtered water. Besides breakfast was also not included but. However some rice and eggs could be added to the base package considering the price per night we payed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. People are all very very nice. The sunset is sooo beautifull. Must stay there
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beds are great, sunset is fantastic. Staff are brilliant, there’s a real home stay feel, met some really interesting people. Beers are cheap and bar is really fun. Really recommend! Roberto, the owner is super helpful and friendly, gives really good advice about local tours/great local knowledge.
Cons: WiFi is poor, having said that it’s nice to focus on other things.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, Roberto and Thelma, the location, the rooms...everything!
Cons: Sunset beach is a pearl!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Robert, Thelma, Ann and the girls were an absolute pleasure. If you needed any help or advise, Roberto and Thelma were there to give it, with a smile of their faces. The food was delicious. I wanted to take Ann, the cook, home with me.
Cons: Absolutely nothing. I wouldn't change a thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. Thelma and Roberto made us feel at home. They have a lot of things to share to discover San Vincente. Rent a motorbike directly at the hotel and ask them for the secret beach. Don t miss the island hopping tour neither. San Vicente is a must go in Palawan and Sunset beach is the perfect place to stay. Enjoy Thelma’s food, it s perfect.
Cons: Nothing

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely large room..Comfy good size twin beds..2 fans to make up for no AC . Anne the owner is great..Bike hire at a reasonable rate.Location is quite but only 3mins walk from the beach and good restruants. Would highly recomend you stay here.Island trip from here also was a great day
Cons: Cold water shower but that's the case with a lot of places..No wifi a bit frustrating but not a deal breaker apart from that all was great
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The best place where we stayed in all of Palawan. They gave us a massive bedroom with 2 good working fans so AC was not needed at all. Also plenty of plugs available around the room. Everything was clean, the facilities felt fairly new and the hot water and coffee replenished outside the room was a nice touch. Friendly and attentive staff, always with a smile on their faces. Location is quite central as Port Barton is just a small village so you're never more than a 5-minute walk to anything you need.
Cons: Cold water on the shower. But to be honest we didn't mind and never actually asked them to do anything about it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A great place to stay! Bedrooms are clean, spacious and comfortable and also staff are friendly and helpful! Great location just a few minutes walk to a beautiful beach. Great value for money would definitely recommend!
10.0 Excellent

Cons: I didn't like the food
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a real pleasure to stay at a westpoint, the owner and his staff were very friendly and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff - amazing! The room was perfectly clean, I don’t think I have seen such a cleanliness in Philippines so far and already traveling here for 2 months. Great value for money - exceptional! And the beach is really just 3 min of walk. Plus there is wonderful dog Ola! And using of their kitchen made our stay even tastier and cheaper! Every morning there is a new coffee with hot water waiting for you at the table of your little terrace. Love this stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Staff we very accommodating and helpful. Great little place
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything is perfect: the location, the bed, the room is modern. And it’s very cheap !! I recommend it !!!!
Cons: The only problem for me (is not a big problem) is you need to pay there instead online in the booking app or with card. But they notice you in booking but I didn’t see it, my fault!!

Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best place in Port Barton!!! Very relax place, clean, beautifull and very near to the beach. Nelly and all the family is very kind and they help you in everything you need ♥️ excellent experience
Cons: We loved everything’s!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nellies'in is a beautiful place to stay. The owner is very nice and really try to make you feel confortable and help you. She would give us banana from her farm every morning. The place is big enough, at tree corners of the beach and really near a nice pizza place. Internet was one of the best one in Port Barton! We really enjoy our stay there! :)
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Initially a nice family. Room itself a good size. Read the negatives though.
Cons: Unfortunately there was no running water 2/3 days we stayed here so we were unable to shower, flush the toilet or brush our teeth. No hot water. Eventually provided with a bucket when requested which was dirty and only able to get this when someone was around. We understand it wasn’t their fault the water was cut off but they said it had been going on a week so they should have either have stopped accepting bookings or offered some form of a discount. Lack of goodwill and substandard for the money. Poor attitude from the daughter unfortunately tarnished our stay. Can get more for your money elsewhere in Port Barton.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Hostility of Nellie's family Small detail ( avocado from their farm ...)
4.6 Okay
Cons: The house is really old and It is not confortable. It is quite expensive for the quality that It is.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The people Who worked there was so lovely and welcome. If you want to have a relaxing and safe place to stay, this is perfect. They did also let me use the shower after check out. Thank you so much.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room with the private bathroom is very nice and spacious. Nice balcony to chill out. Shower even had hot water in it. Couple of minutes walks from the beach. Nellie and her husband are super nice and helpful.
Cons: If you're looking for a place to meet other travelers, than that's not the place. It's very quite and slightly outside of the center, but sty very close to every thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole time spent there was perfect. The owner is a really nice and helpful lady who always wanted to help and talked with us. She let us leave our things in the house as we camped on the beach overnight. There is water and kitchen equipment so you can cook something if you want. We really liked that there is a place with a table and chairs where you can sit and work or eat a dinner.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Close to everything, owners are very helpful friendly and knowledgeable. Room was good size, clean, working fan was enough with the windows open. Quiet at night except for a next door birthday celebration, but not the owners fault by any means. Did our laundry here and it was also good.
Charity homestay - San Vicente - Bedroom

9.0 Excellent (75 reviews)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, was very clean, good value, staff very friendly, very quiet
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: For us this was a great location, far enough away from the noise of the beach night life but close enough to restaurants, bars and the option to dip into the night life if you want to
Cons: Nothing - really good value for money. Charity and her husband couldn't do more for you, they're lovely
7.9 Good
Pros: It’s very authentic and local. Separate building on the owner’s land which she proactively cleans. Includes clean kitchen. Clean toilet and shower. Owner also has a small shop which is useful for buying daily things.
Cons: It’s about eight minutes additional walk outside of the main town which I found slightly irritating. No WiFi. For about 400 pesos extra I found another place on a better location and fancier. For me this honestly would not be my first choice if you are willing to spend some more money.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place, was travelling with a friend and it was great to have separate bedrooms at a really affordable price. Charity was lovely as was her husband Chris. Port Barton has been so far my favourite place in Philippines great beaches easily accessible very relaxed and laid back. Charity’s bungalow was a find
Cons: Nothing

8.8 Excellent (336 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Sunset Colors in San Vicente, you'll be on the beach and convenient to Pamaoyan Beach. Featured amenities include express check-in, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A shuttle from the hotel to the airport is provided for a surcharge (available on request).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I like the peace, serenity and tranquility of the place. The people working at the hotel is very attentive, polite and courteous.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, fantastic food (the best we’ve had in the Philippines), free kayaks and snorkeling, beautiful bungalows and garden
Cons: Beach is strongly influenced by the tide and has many sharp rocks, wifi didn’t really work, very high fees for online-/credit card payments (there are no ATMs)
5.8 Okay
Pros: The Staff is amazing, Junior, is nice guy who is always smiling!
Cons: It is far away from the village and it needs a refurbishment.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very peaceful location. Serene and free kayaks to rent. Food at hotel was pretty good and not that expensive considering it's your only option for dinner unless you bring your own food from town.
Cons: Electricity is only turned on for 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours at night, turned off at 9pm. I believe this is because lights are being powered by generator. The only way to get to this hotel is by boat that only leaves town two times a day. If you miss it I'm not sure what you can do. It also only leaves hotel two times a day. You cannot walk from town to hotel. Boat ride is about 30 minutes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great, the location, the food and everything was reasonably priced. You may go easily back and forth to Port Barton by free shuttle boats and also walk around closest beaches which have very little of tourists. Feels like you have a place for only yourself. There is even small shop in next resort to by essentials
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is like a slice of paradise - set in the jungle only accessible by boat and only a few cabins nearby. The host - Luis is super helpful with setting up everything you need.
Cons: The place is far away from the airport - requires a 3.5hr van drive through windy roads. There was also construction of new cabins at the plot next door which was loud at times.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Boat Trip. Stunning sunsets. Clear perfect water. Great walk to the waterfall.
Cons: No fan at night = uncomfortable sleeping in the heat.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The personel . We felt really welcome and the peacefull vibe gave us a lot of zen. Thank you
Cons: Maybe the electricitie but we got used to it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The resort is located in a very nice, isolated location. You can get there mostly by boat. The beach is telly magical, sunsets are amazing from there. The conditions are very basic, but everything is super clean and the hotels is managed in a very professional manner, everything works!
Cons: The electricity is available only part time of the day, because it's powered by generators. This is the situation in all this area, so just enjoy the nature!
Peak View Resort - San Vicente - Bedroom
8
9.3 Excellent (20 reviews)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect, quiet getaway. Food was delicious and staff extremely friendly.
Cons: The location is a bit challenging. Not much around the resort (yet) and not very easy to find.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality of the family running the place. They were very helpful and kind. The beach is clean and quite, perfect to relax on our short break.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Not just like-- LOVED. I loved the overall experience because we got to experience what it was like to live not just amongst locals, but LIKE a local. The owners were very hospitable, made us feel like we were old friends catching up after years of being apart from each other. The rooms are VERY clean, the location, amazing. And don't even get me started on the food -- felt like we were eating at a 5-star hotel, which in this case, it truly is. Do you want to experience not being surrounded by fellow tourists and know what it's actually "LIKE" to live in Palawan? This is your best choice.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect. I would not change a thing. Being someone who's lived in Puerto Princesa for 5 years during her childhood, and have experienced the "local life", I'm telling you -- this is still a treat to get to experience. It's not just where you are, really. It's mostly the company you keep. In this case the 100 points I'm giving are definitely split between the rooms/location and the hosts.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Owner Jiji and her husband are very nice! The room is clean, the food is good!
Cons: -
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the place is in the fishersman village and there are no other hotels around. The beach is 20 meters away and it's only yours (nobody else around). The sunset takes the breath away
Cons: the road to the village and resort is like a rollercoaster, make sure your stomach is empty
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This property was in a quaint fishing village right on the beach. I could never say enough good things of our experience here. We were looking for a quiet and peaceful place that wasn't overrun by tourists on a beautiful beach, and we found it here at Peak View. We spent the afternoons walking on the deserted, but gorgeous beaches and our evenings hanging out with the locals playing games. This was definitely the retreat away from any hustle and bustle we needed. There was no one there trying to sell us stuff or take us on tours, but they were able to arrange a small tour with their boat. We did not feel like outsiders at this place, but more like family. My son had a plethora of friends to play with as the village kids were warm and friendly. The water depended on the weather, one day it was calm and clear and another day it was rough and dirty, so if it is rough and dirty, know that it will clear up at some point...hopefully. There are some jellyfish in the water, at least when we were there, so be careful of these. The sunsets were incredible, so don't miss out on hiking up the hill to see them. All meals were included and were mostly based off of what they had at that time, so there's not that much variety in what comes with the meals. If you like to walk on beaches, walk all the way down to the left of the beach and you will be walking without seeing a soul and there's a beautiful little rock pool at the end of the next beach. The people at Peak View will treat you like family and I would highly recommend it if you are tired of the tourist attractions and need some peace and quiet.
Cons: Having a drink menu with a price list of the drinks available would be very helpful. Water pressure is low, but we made do. Internet is based off a cell-phone signal and doesn't work most of the time, so make sure you get enough data on your local sim to access internet as this was what we used. Having some lounge chairs on the beach, and more comfortable chairs to hang out at the resort would be highly recommended for the guests as the furniture in the restaurant was quite uncomfortable. It would also be great to have some kayaks or other equipment available to use/rent. Possibly looking at potential snorkeling trips would also be great.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good and the food was quite okay but there wasn't that many options for vegetarians. The beach was very beautiful and there wasn't any tourist at the time.
Cons: The bungalow wasn't front of the beach. The view from the room wasn't to the ocean as promised. There was a lot of local workers hanging at the property and they were loud. There wasn't any privacy and there was a lot of noise everywhere because of the worksite in the neighbourhood. There was also a little bit of trash and other extra stuff all over the property. We talked about the imperfections to the owner but she didn't gave us any refund. The aircondition in the room was placed very low so it was too powerful and was hard to sleep in front of it. The shower was also very weak and there was no hot water. We left earlier and the owner promised to book a nice place from Port Barton and arrange us food from the restaurant. The place wasn't that good as mentioned and she didn't arrange any food even she promised.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything great, nice family running the place. There were hot showers (they provide soap, shampoo and towels), there was also free drinking water, tea, cooffee and hot water (great for our daily noodles). We recommend it.
6.7 Good
Pros: Quite cheap and clean. Good staff and very arranging. They organize island hopping and bus trip to go to El Nido or Puerto Princesa. It is a quiet place. Towels were provided.
Cons: To litlle room and bed, not any storage unit. No A/C so it's always hot in the bedroom. Bathroom was really tiny, you can't even sit properly on the toilet. Only cold water for the shower (but at least you can refresh yourself). Be careful, the breakfast isn't free and you will find way better breakfast in port barton for less than 150PHP. Moreover, the wifi wasn't working at all during the whole stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely family always willing to help us. Very quiet and remarkably clean place. Thank you!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice people. Will do anything for you. Booked for 2 nights at fiest but stayed the whole week. Everything is about 5 min walk so I didnt mind the distance to the beach. They also arranged my van to El Nido. Super!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is amazing!! Thks for everything
Cons: Nothing to say
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The people that worked there were friendly and nice. The place was very clean, it included breakfast that was very nice, the aircon was very good and the location was near everything. This was a homestay and it really surprised us, really nice and welcoming people.
Cons: Nothing we did not like..
7.9 Good
Pros: Friendly homestay run by a very nice attentive family. Everything was clean and the location is good as the town is quite small so you're no more than a 5-minute walk to anything you need.
Cons: We stayed in the budget bedroom inside main family house in what looked like someone's bedroom, so it was a bit weird because you feel like you're intruding in their lives. Also, the wifi was unreliable, but that's a problem in the whole area.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great !!! Very good value for money !!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The guy that runs the place is amazing, friendly, polite and always made us feel like home. Very kind and we had an issue with the wifi the first day but he solved it as soon as we told him. He invited us with 2 coconuts for breakfast plus he always provide free coffe and tea. The room was very clean. Location is near the van/bus station. Not near centre but port barton is so small that everything is closed, around 5-10 min walk to beach.
Cons: The only issue I could find is some ants in the room but only around the walls. But honestly I haven’t found any place in Philippines with no ants or spiders in cheap hostels yet.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was ideal! Right by the bus station and only a short walk into the town centre. The staff were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us! We were welcomed with a lovely coconut drink and had tea/ coffee bought outside the room every morning. The treehouse room is also very cool to stay in!
Cons: There was some building work going on at the property, which meant we couldn’t chill on our balcony but it didn’t affect our sleep so we were happy! Also there is not blinds/ curtains for the amount of windows so not much privacy!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly people, good service!
Cons: Bad road to the hotel
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Accommodation is fantastic! I love madam Principal and also Sir Mil (your plants are wonderful! I cant wait for the finished landscaping). We had a good chat with the owners and we learned a lot. I dont have a problem with the property and facilities.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Bed was comfortable, there was coffee available every morning. More quiet location than in the town centre. 3 mins walk from the bus station. You can book tours there. Laundry services available.
Cons: Had to walk a short distance on a poorly lighted dirt road to get to the main road. Draining system in the bathroom of my room not working properly, it was like a puddle after taking a shower. Issue not fixed by reception.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location (between jungle, village and beach). Free coffee all day. Staff is very friendly.

Pros: Absolutely stunning location, fresh seafood, amazing staff
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a marvelous stay. The beach was absolutely gorgeous, pool was serene and staff was very attentive. Club Agutaya is quiet and secluded -about the only hotel on Long Beach. But short ride to San Vicente for island hopping and market.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff, accommodation Villa 1a, pool good, and the beach good. Very remote. The restaurant is OK, just as well as theres no option
Cons: Unfortunately we were there during the annual 3 day fiesta. This place is marketed on a tranquillity ticket ... music from sports hall banged on until 5am on each of the 3 nights we stayed. The room we were allocated originally was seriously overpriced but after a little friendly negotiation we were upgraded to a garden villa.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are amazing and very accommodating . Th room is clean . The hotel exceeded my expectations .
Cons: i like everything at Club Agutaya
7.0 Good
Pros: Squeaky clean bathroom. Bed mattress needs improvement though a clean and fresh linen was used. Delicious lunch at the restaurant.
Cons: The resort needs an overhaul in terms of its structure from roof and ceiling to the resort's receiving area. But the homevibes feel is there.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful beach, great location. Pool was very nice. Room was very nice Staff super nice and accommodating! A special lunch was provided for our boat trip to accommodate our dietary preferences. We enjoyed the transportation to the port for tours as well as the visit to the garden. They provided a natural insect repellant.
Cons: As vegans the food was limited but they did try to accommodate. Pool has a lovely in pool bar but no benches or service. Stairwells are a bit rough and tough to walk up, to third floor. Got ripped off at boutique purchasing full snorkel masks, later found out we paid double the going rate.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable spaces, good location, very friendly stuff
Cons: Facilities could be improved
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Eco friendly, beach side, organic everything!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location (very peaceful) - massage - pool - restaurant - staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An excellent place to stay in with warm and genuine service, truly friendly people and great value for money. Food at Cafe Lilly was delicious and well-served (the San Vicente soup and Lechon Kawali or fried pork belly were especially good). I was most kindly upgraded to a villa and it was clean, spacious and quiet with a very comfortable bed. The beach is SPECTACULAR--clean, quiet, fine golden beige sand with nary another resort or building in sight. The water is calmest around 9-11am and there are loungers galore. San Vicente is perfect for people looking for quiet and relaxation--there is no nightlife to speak of, and for activities in the daytime one is limited to island hopping which is highly recommended. Please book tours through their local agencies vs Klook or Viator which were quite undependable--the small local industries deserve a better chance against these app giants. I had two massages and both were excellent (request for Irene to be your therapist). Beyond it's minor flaws, its the people of San Vicente, the town proper, that make Club Agutaya truly wonderful--they are kind and thoughtful, cheerful and friendly without being overly familiar. If you wish to experience the quiet town kindness and sweetness of Filipinos, this is the place for you.
Cons: Wifi in a place as remote as this isn't very reliable, neither is cable service for television. But the place and the people more than make up for it.

7.5 Good
Pros: Good location, good shower with hot water, good aircon and they can help you arrange tours and vans to el nido.
Cons: The walls are paper thin, but then it seems like it’s the case everywhere in Palawan. We got woken up by the neighbours alarm and one night the next door customer was very drunk and kept on screaming all night. No wifi.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean. especially bathroom! There is lovely garden with owner lady's smile and hospitality. All the staff were smiling all the time. and you can know about the philippines house patterns.
Cons: well... this hostel is little bit far from the sea. 4 minutes walk? It is not far actually. but when you go out for beach you feel what if distance gets closers?

6.7 Good
Pros: cleaning and pool
Cons: The staff are not helpful.
7.9 Good
Pros: It's very clean and peaceful, the beach is very near. German owned with modern design.
Cons: After staying on a remote island without internet for 3 nights, I booked this place because it promised a solid internet connection so I can finally get online. But when I arrived, I realized the wifi was not working and the staff didn't do much to fix it. There was no connection until the morning when the receptionist arrived more than 1 hour late and then she finally fixed the router. So I managed to get online for 5 minutes in the 18 hours I stayed there, then the trycicle driver already came to fetch me to the van terminal and I had to go. Also when I checked in, the girl didn't inform me that they lock the reception area at 10pm and nobody was there to refill my water bottle when I went there at 10:20pm not knowing that the staff are not available during the night.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very close to the beach. Cosy bungalows in a well looked after space. Staff keen to help
Cons: Not a big issue, room was quite dark, even when light was on
7.1 Good
Pros: Maam Theresa was very accommodating and even offered to upgrade our room for free. :) The place was quiet. And the bathroom was really lovely. The staff and locals are accommodating and friendly. They really tried our best to address our concerns. :)
Cons: The bed had bed bugs and their wifi wasn't available. The cable tv also wasn't working. Restaurants near the place are a bit pricey for a budget traveller. The average is P200 for a meal. (ex: 2 eggs, toast and butter with instant coffee is P180).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, nice host
Cons: No wifi
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance from the bus terminal/drop of point. Not on google maps so look for Bing Vince Tourist Inn as it’s on the same premises. Very small village so very close to the beach and all the shops and restaurants/bars. Won’t need a scooter. Spacious room on the ground floor. Really liked the wood decor throughout the room and bathroom. Very clean. Hot showers. Must wait approx 30 sec for the hot water to run but not an issue. Breakfast is served on the balcony. Which is freshly cooked but brought from Bing Vince Tourist Inn kitchen that Theresa’s Pension House is sharing the premises with. We were so happy with the breakfast the first morning we’ve decided to have all of our 3 breakfasts at Theresa’s. You must try the banana pancakes and the home made bread/toast. Air con is powerful. Noisy yes but haven’t come across a quiet one in Asia yet. Theresa was very accommodating and ready to help with everything. Theresa can book you a transport to Puerto Princessa and more of you wish.
Cons: No WiFi but that’s across the whole village. Instead go out and make some friends.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, 24/7 electricity, maybe the best facilities in Port Barton.
Cons: No WiFi. Weak signal as the signal tower is along the beach.

Pros: I did like it that it was nearby the beach. They had a motorcycle for rent.
Cons: They didn’t have a minibar or fridge. I think the rate is to high but that’s my opinion
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice rooms, except for the air con (not working)
Cons: The staff was bad, they stayed on my table on a dayly basis. I booked a travel back at the counter (500 pesos) , and I had to go to the bus station by myself and realized they had booked the cheaper company for 350 pesos...

Pros: We arrived around 8pm and we haven’t eat our dinner yet the staff was so accomodating that after we check-in she told us that there are food available nearby so she guide and instructed us where to go. (Actually theu also serve dinner but unfortunately their cook was on leave) The place was so quite they have a very nice receiving area and super cool ambiance. The room was awesome their bathroom is very spacios. They serve a very generous breakfast and they have a free glass of juice while waiting for the food. 7.1 Good
Pros: -nice location -very clean and nice bathroom -great staff, helpful and very friendly. They even woke up at 5:30 to serve us breakfast as we were leaving early

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The garden and the friendly dog
Cons: Almost everything: very small bamboo hut, almost no space for 2, the mattress was too thin, the A/C is very old and very noisy. The bathroom was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned before we arrived. Same for the room... Very expensive for what it is!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you are looking for a place of serenity in San Vicente this is the Place. The place is so simple and very relaxing.. We stayed in a kubo style room and we liked it. It makes me appreciate more the simplicity of life in San Vicente. Foods were delicious. They have many food choices aside from the menu that they were serving. You just asked them what are available and they will cook it for you. It takes time but definitely worth it because they make sure they serve the best for you. I really commend their kitchen staffs especially their cooks. They make our stay in the place more memorable and it really makes me excited to come back again to taste their food.. The buttered Pitik, Crabs, Sinigang Fish were sumptuous as well a as the chicken curry by kuya. Their staffs will make you feel at home and relax. They are also approachable. We are also happy and grateful that we met Ma'am Belle the owner. She's very accommodating. From Farmville to Farm Belle hehe, it really inspires us, that if you want something just work hard for it and pray. We are really excited to go again in San Vicente..I love to travel a lot and been to lot of places in the Philippines and San Vicente is. One of the place that amazed me. Amazing People. Amazing Place!!!

Pros: The location is great and the bar/restaurant at deep moon is good.
Cons: The room was so incredibly hot. There were 2 fans working between 8 beds. The mattress didn’t fit the creaky bamboo bunk bed, and the sheet didn’t fit the mattress. 5.8 Okay
Pros: The area is really great. You can really relax. The food is good but expensive. Best place to watch sunsets!
Cons: It feels like an earthquake when people walk or get into bed so that woke me up a lot. That why I didn't extend my stay. One of the guests was having sex with someone not staying in the dorm. Some of the people at deep Moon are very unfriendly. Others are pretty nice so I hung out there most of the time during the day.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice bed for a night rest. Just a few steps from the beach, hot shower and wifi in reception.
Cons: It should have a sign outside of the property, it was confusing to arrive.

Pros: I love the amazing view of the Port Barton overlooking from the property. It's beautiful scene in the morning and sunset.
Cons: Since it's remote, WiFi is challenging.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is slightly out of town, a short walk along the beach, but this means it’s quieter and has the best views of the beach and coast. Walter the owner is very friendly and helpful, he upgrade us to a bigger chalet as we were there out of season and it wasn’t booked. The houses/huts are incredible value for the price, they are not luxury, but you shouldn’t be expecting it at that price. Out of many of the places we have stayed around the world this is one of the few we would give such a high rating too!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Evergreen Bayview is located on a small hill top. Once you arrive you will see the beautiful view over the bay! It's really amazing and relaxing to stay here away from the buzz of the centre. The centre is just a few minutes walk alongside of the beach. The accomondation has a beautiful garden and the host Walter is really nice. You will make a good decision to spend your nights here.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Evergreen is in a great location just up the hill from Port Barton beach with a beautiful view of the bay. The accommodation is basic but ample for what is needed. The relaxed owner, Walter, is full of local knowledge & happy to have a chat whenever passing by. Ideal spot for a stay in Port Barton.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The place is located on top of the hill with a very nice view only it is out of town and a far climb up hill. No clearing or fresh towels during your stay and cooking facililties are very poor as well as the matresses.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owner is very kind and helpful. The place provides a stunning view over the bay. The bungalows are in a beautiful garden area. It’s totally not a disadvantage that the bungalows are not at the beachfront. It’s just a short walk to there and staying on the hill rewards you with a great view and fresh air. I haven’t seen all accommodations there but i haven’t seen any better.
7.9 Good
Pros: The VIEW.
Cons: Wish the bathroom was more updated with flush toilet and shower. Hard to navigate the low pressure and using bucket was difficult. Would have liked air conditioning, reliable wifi and more outlets.
