The place is beautiful, in an old farmhouse which preserves it's original structure. Breakfast was standard, nothing special and I found it expensive for 5.90 Euros.
There is no attention to the details in the room, toilet old and not really clean, lights and some furnitures cheap. Everything seemed put together randomly and it's a pity because the place has a great potential. The room was very very cold and wet.
Excellent location, wonderful welcome, beautiful room. Complete peace and quiet. Could not recommend it enough. Gracias Jessica!!
Lovely peaceful location. Super friendly people. A great welcome, comfy accommodation and good rest.
A really nice building in a beautiful location. I was walking a small stretch of the Camino so it was a little ‘off the beaten track’ but chosen for its location and appearance.
All was looking really good until I pulled back the covers to go to bed and found evidence of its previous occupant(s) in the form of runkled sheets, long strands of dark human hair (what’s left of mine is very short and grey!), small bits of grit.....and a flea, which I wrestled into submission and flushed down the loo! The first remedy suggested was that I sleep in the ‘other’ bed ( I was staying alone in a twin room.) I declined, preferring the second remedy suggested, ie. moving to another room. When I spoke to the owner the next morning by ‘phone - he couldn’t/wouldn’t and in any event, didn’t, speak to me in person- he was gracious enough to acknowledge that in recounting my experience, he accepted that I was “..telling the truth”, though continued to insist, not entirely logically, that the bed had been freshly made up (I did wonder how he could have been sure, unless he had done it himself, which I thought unlikely!) I was relieved that he did not voice any suggestion that I might have arrived equipped with my own supply of human hair, grit and fleas for nefarious purposes. When I asked what he might consider to be an appropriate recompense for my experience he offered me a free breakfast (value €5.90.) I suggested we end the conversation at that point! Ironically of the six small hotels which I stayed in during my mini-Camino, this was the most expensive. Goes to show.
Friendly staff, beautiful accommodation, comfy bed.
Could do with a little sound proofing between apartments.
