It was clean, not noisy and the beds are extremely comfortable! My pomeranian was happy and the room was spacious. The staff was very friendly.
Not really. The restaurant has very limited hours.
Close to parks
The front desk person at check-in was not very friendly. The room they gave us was smoking and smelled terribly of smoke, they told us they could give us another room but charged us extra.

Clean and close to places to eat.
Was iin room 303 next to the elevator. Could hear it when ever it was in use
Nice hotel nothing over the top but good for the price. Has Tesla Supercharger avross the street.
Great deal, clean, new rooms
Shower was cold initially and took a good 5 minutes to warm up
Proximity to I95 and Clarks Inn.
Holiday Inn should offer their guests at least a free continental breakfast. Almost every other motel in the area does. It adds another $15-$20 per couple to the hotel rate when we ate there. We will probably go elsewhere next year because of this.
Very clean, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Easy to find off of I-95 and close to gas and restaurants.
Only stayed for a night but staff was all very polite and room was clean large and very quiet.
Restaraunt staff wasn't friendly and acted like we were bothering them.
I liked saving money on my stay. The room was what I expected and I got the room I wanted.
The bathroom was a little outdated where you could see separations in the tiles, but it was clean so that's what really mattered.
3rd year we stayed here on our way to FL. Go for indoor pool, supposed to be heated. Freezing. Unfortunately, it will be the last time we book there because of pool temp.
The location as it was very close to the highway.
The rooms need to be upgraded. It is a little tired.
The location of this hotel is perfect as it is right off of 95. It is close to Clark's Inn where we went to eat. The room was clean and the staff was helpful.
The staff was very friendly.
Friendly and helpful staff, and excellent accomodations
Very nice staff for our late night check in,and room was reasonably priced.
The hotel was nice looking but the rooms are starting to show aging. Some furniture was broken, bedding was worn, and some bathroom equipment did not work. The beds hurt my back and my wife's each night we were there. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful but there was a staff member gentleman who reeked of alcohol. He seemed quite annoyed when we asked for towels and when he brought them we asked for cups since there were none provide for the coffee maker, he told us to go to the bar and get them ourselves. The TV was small compared to other hotels. Overall not a bad hotel, but I didn't think it was worth the price. I wish I had chosen the Hampton Inn or the Clark Inn across the street.
The Holiday Inn in Santee was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very freindly. We enjoyed our stay.
Needed a place to stay on a Philly - Florida drive with my family. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, and have come to have low expectations of the ones right off major highways. This Holiday Inn changed my mind; good size rooms, wireless internet, nice (small) restaurant and bar, flat screen TVs (even in the dining room for kids), etc...
We were VERY pleased w/Holiday Inn Santee. Although it is advertised as not being pet friendly, they DO allow pets which was GREAT! The room was terrific. VERY clean! No hair in the tub or on the bathroom floor. The sheets AND comforters were changed daily, not just the sheets as in many hotels (yuk). The children loved the flat screen TV that was in our room. The hotel restaurant made dining convenient although there were many other choices to choose from within walking distance of the hotel. We will definitely stay at the HI on our next trip to Santee!!
Best Holiday Inn close to an interstate ever ! Staff very nice. Room was great ! Very nice decor and clean. Only issus was that pet rooms were obooked up and pet hotels.com did not communicate well with the hotel.
