Room is spacious. Staff is diligent and helpful.
Hotel room is very dated.
Friendly staff, clean and neat room, large room. Good English speaking staff
The staff was very polite and friendly. Kinjou-san (who I believe was still in training) took the effort to explain the room's facilities to us and to converse with us in English, which made us feel very comfortable and at home! The room is extraordinarily spacious, with a large bathroom containing both a bathtub and a shower. Most amenities you could want are provided for. This is the only hotel I would stay in when in Sapporo!
There was no anti-slip mat provided for use in the bathtub. Personally we did not encounter any issues but I would imagine that this might become a problem for some people. No other issues otherwise!
The location was great just outside of the centre next to a beautiful river so you could really relax without the feeling of being in a busy city but walking distance from the famous Odori and the beer festival. Bathroom was beautiful and the rooms spacious, everywhere was very clean with friendly helpful staff. The bus to the airport stops right outside the door which was very convenient.
The room was atmospheric but there was not enough light to see inside my suitcase or to make a cup of coffee. There was a friendly explanation of the room to start with where she explained the obvious but not the important things like all the restaurants and bars in the hotel close at 8:30 so after the fireworks we were left without dinner and had nowhere to go to relax after being out all day.
