The price was decent for a good location near Orlando on New Year's Eve. Somewhat basic, no-frills.
The front desk staff that I interacted with were very pleasant, but apparently working under difficult physical property conditions. First off this is an old property, but that should not excuse conditions. If our room was any indication of the rest of them, shame on them. Peeling paint, poor water pressure, no hot water in shower. We had a dbl/dbl and one of the beds had a noticeable sag from a broken box spring. There was a lack of working electric outlets and a bulb was missing from a lamp. The majority of national motel chains today offer amenities such as a microwave & small refrigerator. These are available for $5 extra per item, per night, and they don't have enough to go around. There was supposed to be a Continental breakfast, I never saw any thing more than coffee. My wife asked the GM about the breakfast and was told it was $20 extra. Apparently they don't understand the definition of continental as it applies to the hotel/motel industry. The grounds could have been cleaner, a lot of trash around the bushes and stairs. Guest laundry not centrally located and on 2nd floor. Ice machines not convenient unless your room is near one. Pool was not clean either. These are not $60 a night rooms. Had I not received a significant discount through Kayak, I would have stayed across the street at Days Inn or one of the other motels in the area. Someone needs to call Tom Bodett
This motel is your stereotypical white trash, run down, pay by the minute lodging. Most certainly not worth the amount it charges, a disgusting place with absolutely no redeeming qualities about it. Where do I begin? The second we walked in, we were greeted by a rude neanderthal of a woman noisily chewing her gum and asking us what we wanted..we brought our luggage upstairs and around the motel in what seemed like a neverending labrinyth under the weight of our bags we were carrying. The room we stayed in had mold in the shower, thin curtain like blankets, (I'm still not totally convinced those weren't curtains) bugs in the room, a used bar of soap from the last guy that stayed in our room, no kleenex or toilet paper, one washcloth, hardly any towels, an old tv (the 90s called, they want their tv back), the ceiling had water damage and looked like it will most likely cave in within the next few months,. So in conclusion, I will never be going back to this motel or any other Motel 6 for that matter.
Nothing... I didn't like driving for 12 hours just to pull back the cover and there's a roach in my bed and one takes off on the other side of the bed where my young daughter tried to lay down. Dirty floor in the room you could feel it on your bare feet. The shower was disgusting! I also didn't like that I couldn't get refunded until the manager got there at 7AM just to say there was no roaches, just a dead lady bug and still charge me for a night when we were there just minutes and left. Last time I checked roaches don't wait for managers, I took a picture of the roach in the bed, showed the night desk person and she even agreed with me that she'd be leaving too if she were me! Don't stay here!!!!
Cost efficient Beds were uncomfortable, pool was not accessable
There was nothing to like about this dump.. Anyone who reads, do yourself a favor and stay clear of this place!!! Rude Jerk behind the glass and the rooms are just ran down and not kept up.
This hotel was all that we needed for the night. Not having to pay extra for things we weren't going to use, such as a pool, or free breakfast, really helped with our budget. Very clean and cozy. I would have loved a coffee pot in the room.
