The Villas at Simpson Bay Resort

The best feature is the great pool with pool bar overlooking the stunning Simpson Bay. The pool bar was great and the bar staff was great as well. The iguanas that hang out on the rocks beside the sea were interesting to see as well. The sunset view from the room was good as well. The place was clean and comfortable.

The amenities at the villas include a gym, tropical landscaping, freshwater pool with a bar, waterfront boardwalk, and a roof terrace used for special events. Rooms come with flat-screen televisions with satellite channels, bathtubs, hairdryers, and DVD players.

There are nearly countless options for dining near the Simpson Bay Beach Resort And Marina including Isola Italian Restaurant and Brick Oven Pizzeria, Mexican cuisine at La Patrona, and Caribbean fare courtesy of Buccaneer Beach Bar. Guests can enjoy Indian food at Shiv Shakti Bar and Indian Restaurant while sports lovers can spend time at Replay Sports Pub.

The room smelled like an old tomb which was related to the air conditioning. The tv was huge but did not provide access to streaming services. On Friday night the music from a venue at the other side of Simpson bay was so loud it kept us awake for a while. There was also a slightly aggressive undertone in the agreement we signed on check in which included a clause that late checkout by an hour would result in a $100 charge.

The location is great for us. Beds were good, pillows ok. Kitchen was ok. Loved the patio, chairs and table. Check in was efficient and friendly. Bathroom was good. The hotel is top-tier.
