The breakfast was really good, and the staff were super friendly. The hotel is situated in a wonderfully rural setting and provides an authentic experience!
Everything was satisfactory.
We arrived one hour late also it was late at night... but we were welcomed with a warm smile and the staff did whatever they can to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. The location is awesome as it's a traditional village, there is a lot to see around and easy to park your car. overall awesome experience and I must say amazing hosts.
This is a small privately owned hotel, the proprietors and staff were so friendly, helpful and even purchased an air conditioning unit for our room as the temperatures were in the high thirties. Excellent food, all homemade breads, pastries, jams and yogurts for breakfast. The dinner menu was extensive, all fresh ingredients and cooked to order, served piping hot and beautifully presented either outside in the garden or in the restaurant. The room was clean with very comfortable beds. Parking was either just outside or in a car park two minutes walk away. We also securely park our bikes on the premises. This hotel was a real find. I would totally recommend to anyone to staying at this smaller hotel as the service, value for money and whole experience surpassed our expectations greatly.
The breakfast was excellent comprising several home made preserves and yoghurt. The service was very friendly. The evening meal was also good and served by very helpful staff.
My wife is not fully mobile so the stairs to the bedroom were a problem.
Location and proximity of Ghent, nice walks in the woods and near the river, proximity of several good restaurants.
