This hotel is excellent, clean, modern with lots of light. Our room was large with a balcony, plasma TV, room temperature control, mini bar and power shower. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Lots of relaxing seating indoor and outdoor. The location is excellent and short walk to Ortigia and all the archaelogical sites.
I was able to obtain parking for my two nights in front of the hotel. Very convenient to Ortygia. The breakfast staff person, a young man, was extremely attentive and polite. The balcony overlooking the street was a nice feature of our room.
The staff did not have a good idea of how and where to direct tourists for restaurants, the bus system (we tried to follow the staff's directions, but it did not work) or other features of Syracuse. I believe that some printed material and instructions on these matters would be very helpful.
