8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are very modern and comfortable.
Cons: Pricey breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Only complaint: We were told by the front desk staff that there was a complimentary continental breakfast when in fact there was a limited breakfast buffet that cost $20 for adults and $14 for children.
7.4 Good
Pros: Restaurant was good, hosts were nice, heated pool was great on a cold night. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
Cons: It was directly on the airstrip at the airport so it was very noisy particularly in the early morning.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The staff was courteous and helpful. The room service was quick.
Cons: The chair in the room was not safe at all. It was an older office chair. My wife and daughter almost fell from it. Secondly, there was no microwave which is marginal acceptable. Lastly, there was no mat for the bathtub while taking a shower. The tub was so slippery that anyone can fall easily in the shower.

8.2 Excellent
Pros: Slept like a baby...normally it takes me a day or 2 to get used to a hotel bed...this one I slept so well each night, I'd come back just for the bed! Check-in...Room wasn't ready when we arrived early...staff switched rooms immediately when asked. Check-out...paid thru hotels.com and was then charged on credit card at check-out...when I realized I called and after front desk did a little research they refunded the check-out charge promptly. Breakfast was much better than expected too!
Cons: Surrounding neighborhood was a little rundown
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All around great experience. Would go there again in a heartbeat. Amazing staff, amazing place.
6.0 Good
Cons: Need to update rooms. Rooms are very small
7.7 Good
Pros: Convenient location and overall
Cons: The climate control wasn't that good--it was always running too hot for my choice and when I ran the fan, it became too cold!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Big room. Nicest towels yet at this priced motel. Great breakfast. Good internet. The whole package was great.
Cons: It was all good.

6.0 Good
Pros: The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Employees were kind and accommodating. We basically needed a convenient place to stay for the Thanksgiving holiday that included breakfast and this was a good choice for that.
Cons: No in room safe—one had to be brought in. Room location was noisy—faced a loud go-cart race track. Not enough seating in the breakfast area leaves people staring at you for your table and with so many people it was very loud first thing in the morning.

6.5 Good
Pros: Quiet
Cons: I need a receipt for this expense
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Clean, modern, spacious room with two queen beds. Nice updated bathroom. Located in an area of town with plenty of choices for eating out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice old hotel. People are friendly & helpful, and hotel has many services. Building is almost 100 years old, and very well maintained. Excellent place to relax.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Great view from our room.
Cons: The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it stunk like cigarettes. The water pressure was terrible; it took forever to take a shower. The staff were mostly decent, but there were a couple of jerks with bad attitudes and poor customer service. I have family in Santa Maria, and I visit often, but the next time I visit, I will stay at the airport Radisson because it is far better by every measure.
6.0 Good
Pros: Price was reasonable.
Cons: Old facility. Not really renovated. Our first room was right above the conference room, where they were playing audio very loud. It was decent room, but old a bit musty smelling. After a couple of complaints they moved us to another room that was older and mustier. Cracks in the sinks. Bad paint. Small. We won't return

Pros: The location was perfect for my needs. I had four service calls to make and this property was perfectly located.
Cons: This is an old hotel that I am sure has been updated probably more than once. It is about ready to be done again.
5.1 Okay
Cons: Room smelled, party items left under and behind bed, jacuzzi totally disgusting.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: A refund would be nice considering how bad it smelled.
Cons: I didn't like the smell in the rooms. I don't know if there was water damage in the past or what the issue is but the stench is overwhelming. The rooms were very dusty and needed to be cleaned.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Customer service
4.5 Okay
Pros: It's looked nice from the outside
Cons: The toilet didn't work had to Flush it about 5 times, the walls re very thin can hear people through out the night. Was charged an extra $50 for having a small per, where it's free or very minimal fee at every other hotels I have stayed at. Had to sit around the bar about 10 min for someone to even say hello. The bed was extremely noisy. I can say it was one of the worse stays I've had at a hotel.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Had a counter-top with sink and refrigerator.
Cons: Outlet didn't work for the lamp on the desk, so had to unplug the TV at night to use the desk.
7.7 Good
Pros: Good value. Can't really complain about much with the price being so low. Staff was nice. The beds were surprisingly comfortable.
Cons: The screen door on the balcony was broken and laying against the outside wall. The hotel overall was aging a bit. It could probably do with a renovation.

6.0 Good
Pros: Rooms were updated but beds were squeaky.

9.4 Excellent
Pros: The staff bent over backwards to be helpful and pleasant.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Friendly desk staff
Cons: For $175 dollars was very disappointing. Room mediocre, air conditioner has fixed vent that blows directly on the bed. Had to lean table against the bed to ward off the wind. Ended up turning it off. Breakfast Was not available until 7. Then the eating area had only 3 tables and six chairs. For a sold out motel? Then All they offered was bananas, small cold cerea packsl, poor coffee, tiny muffins and sugared yogurt. Stayed at another competitors hotel in Santa Maria a couple of blocks away on April and place was 10 times nicer. just surprised for the price. Room was I’ll lit with Torn lampshades and bulbs that produced a hum. Had to turn them off too. Bathroom light fixture had 4 different kinds of light bulbs and color temperature. Almost like they’re going out of their way to make it look worse. Will never book again.
7.7 Good
Pros: The place is clean and the front desk staff is friendly. It is close to Vons and places to eat. Also, I like the fact that the 101 freeway is just down the street. The breakfast is ok. It is limited, but my husband and I are grateful to have something to eat in the morning before we went on our trip to the Winchester Mystery House.
Cons: I noticed that the door does not have property weather stripping, which allows the air to come through the front door. Other than that, it is a nice place to stay if you are on a short vacation or business trip.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room are very clean, I liked it. It's very accessible, close to restaurants and the freeway a big plus for me. First time traveling with my 6 month old and it was a good stay. It was a little pricey, but there were many events in the area.
Cons: The back parking lot looks really bad, it has holes and a little dark.

4.0 Okay
Pros: The location, near our son's place
Cons: When we tried to check in at 2pm there was no one at the front desk. we buzzed the door but it took awhile for the manager to show up. The hotel looked like it was out of a scary movie like The Bates Motel in Psycho. The room comforters and floor did not feel clean and it was small. The next morning the breakfast was only donuts and coffee. No milk for the coffee and no juice was available.
8.6 Excellent

3.6 Mediocre
Pros: Being honest to the best of my ability, there was slim 2 nothing that I can say that I actually like about this over priced dump. However, I do feel silly in saying that I am so much of a closed minded individual that I could not manage to pull up at least one thing that I did infact like about the establishment out of my thought, so I will say that I enjiyed the fact that if nothing else the place stands true to it's name: The Rose Garden Inn because the do have a beautiful variety of rose bushes that appear to be well maintenanced, therefore displayin, (In my opinion), a lovely little rose garden in full bloom at the entrance of the establishment...A+
Cons: First & foremost, I got the impression immediately upon entering & not being greeted by either of the 2 absolutely un~occupied staff that they were not excited about the fabulous price that I had reserved the room for thriugh Kayak. Then, they asked if I'd prefer smoking or non~smoking & I replyed smoking because why? I smoke. At that point, (Of course, in some foreign language), employee #1 states a few word to employee #2 who is doing my check~in. Suddenly they have no availiable smoking rooms with only 1 bed. I let them know that I was fine with a non~smoking room & I promised I'd go outside to smoke. Next problem...Apparently my credit card was declined (ALLEDGEDLY), & seeing as to how I had spoken with customer care at the card company only moments before entering tbe establishment, I was quite surprised to hear that the card was declined. Before I could even ask if they would try once more to run my card, employee #2 was sending ALL of my paperwork including the reservation through the paper shredder & all but threw my card & CDL at me. I do not drive & had taken a taxi along w/my over night bags to the establishment from the transit center, so I went outside & immediatly called Customer Care at my Financial Institution. The agent advised me that everything was fine in thier computer & that there weren't any blocks, holds or anything else pending that may prevent the establishment from billing. I go back in & ask if they can try once more. Employee #1, whom appears highly aggitated with my request informs me that my reservstion had been cancelled because my card was a "BAD" card. He still however, agrees to try to run my card ONLY once more & if my card is still no good I must leave the front of the establishment w/my luggage. Of course, still my card was declined. At this point, its a very hot day, I've been traveling, I'm tired, not to mention I'm starting to get pissed so I ask how much would the room be if I were to pay with cash. Employee #1 states (ver batim), "It will be much, much more." All I want to know is HOW MUCH? He blurts out some number that sounded fairly random & in total was nearly $30 more than the Kayak price. Seeing as to how I hadn't expected this, I had no cash & had to walk (with my luggage) in un~familiar surroundings n search of an ATM, at which I used the same credit card that had been declined to pull out money. Upon my return, employee #1 is not anywhere in sight & employee # 2 isacting oblivious to the fact that I would be back to get the room & pay with cash. She finally agrees to rent me the room but gives me a price $13 more than employee # 1 had quoted me. As she hands me the key she states to me that the room is a SMOKING room because that is all they have left...I THOUGHT THAT THEY HAD NO SMOKING ROOMS AVAILIABLE when I first arrived & started this check in process, (which btw, is now nearly an hour later)....What a headache!! Glad to finally be headed into my room...OR AM I??!!!!! Absolutely rediculous.

5.3 Okay
Pros: The hotel was in a perfect location and was pretty comfortable. Decent breakfast too I felt.

6.7 Good
Pros: Full size pillows!!!!
7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel was close to the freeway for easy access but not so close that the guests would have to put up with the noise. The room was a good size and though there were some minor repairs nearby it stopped at a reasonable hour so overall the stay was quiet.
Cons: The room should have been aired out to give a fresh clean smell.

Cons:
5.2 Okay
Pros: Close to the freeway
Cons: Older building
3.2 Mediocre
Pros: It was convenient for visiting a friend that lives in the Central Coast area
Cons: Yes! We had a bad experience with this hotel. When finishing a shower my friend was unable to turn off the water, the shower would not stop, we tried for 15 minutes to try to turn it off, we called the front desk stating that our shower was messed up and would like to get another room. The front desk proceded to send up someone to try for an additional 15-20 minutes to shut off the water, no such luck. We then had to wait another 20 minutes and 2 phone calls to the front desk to finally get someone to tell us that we could come down and get a key to another room, we then had to pack up all our stuff and move. After complaining to the front desk we still were not offered one of our nights free or even a discount. I wont stay there again!
5.2 Okay
Pros: The location and the pool
Cons: It's outdated and the carpet looks unclean. The second day they did not clean the shower. Expensive for what it is.
