Located at the Abbekås Harbour, this property is 15 minutes' drive from central Ystad. It features free WiFi, free parking and a seasonal restaurant serving local, ecological cuisine. A seating area and TV are provided in all Abbekås Hamnkrog & Hotell guest rooms, as well as a private bathroom with shower. Many overlook the harbour and Baltic Sea. Both Swedish and international meals and drinks are served at Abbekås Hamnkrog with an emphasis on local fish and meat. A buffet breakfast is offered daily. The surrounding area offers activities such as fishing and windsurfing. Bicycle rental is available on site. Mossbystrand Beach is less than 10 minutes’ walk, while 5 golf courses are within 9.3 miles. Abbekås Golf Course is only 1.2 miles away.

Pros: The setting in the Swedish countryside by the Baltic Sea is stunning. Long walks or bike rides in the area are highly recommended. The rooms in the hotel were comfortable, clean and spacious. The provided breakfast is excellent.
Cons: Our room was very comfortable, but could get stuffy on warm days. The food was very good, but the restaurant, again, could get overly warm and stuffy and had too many bugs flying around. Noisy guests disturbed our sleep more than once.

This countryside hostel is 15 minutes’ walk from Skurup Train Station and 14.9 miles from Ystad. It provides free Internet access, a small gym, along with a fully equipped, communal kitchen. Set over 2 buildings, Skurups Folkhögskola provides simply furnished rooms with a desk and private bathroom. Guests can enjoy a shared TV lounge in each building. On-site bicycle rental is available, as well as BBQ facilities and table tennis. Skurups’s restaurant with café serves breakfast upon request, a lunch buffet and a dinner menu. It also has a furnished terrace. Svaneholm Castle and the Johanna Museum are both within 7 km, while Mossby Beach is about 6.2 miles away. Central Copenhagen is less than an hours’ drive from the hostel.
