Modern. Comfy beds. Large rooms. Good set up/furniture. Lovely bathroom. Good shower. Only about 10mins down hill from old town. Secure key card entry.
Smelt of smoke (I think through vents from the pubs) and the music late at night also coming through. We still slept good and our room touched one of the pubs but just something to note. It was a bit strange we saw nobody/staff for our stay (not really a problem though). It would be helpful if there was a note attached with the keycards saying who was in each room if there’s not going to be any staff.
The room was exactly as pictured. Bathroom was modern, with a large shower. Despite appearances, the area was relatively quiet. The air-con worked. The room has a functioning safe. From the hotel, it was only a ten to fifteen minute walk into Old Split.
It was in quite a run-down area. The hotel is right next to a pub, which played loud music until just after midnight. We saw no staff at all during our stay – we bumped into the owners in the patio after checking out. Despite booking a non-smoking room, the whole hotel (including our room) smelt smoky. The hairdryer in room 2 doesn’t work. They don’t clean rooms everyday, and when they do, they only cleaned the bedding and towels. In our opinion, it wasn’t great value for money – considering it’s a four star hotel.
clean and well maintain
The hotel room was nice, and the ensuite looked to have been updated recently
The area around the hotel was pretty run down, and the exterior needs tidied up a good bit
Very Nice cleaning woman! Nice and clean room.
Don’t expect any service from the owners. Stayed there 2 days didn’t see anyone, except cleaning lady. Did not get any explanation of the city or where we stayed... Promised on booking.com: private parking was possible but under payment: Booked for this reason asked for it weeks before. Never got an answer, 2 days before got a answer asked for parking instructions again: “you should park your car just somewhere in the street, we don’t do that” , messaged for parking garages in the neighborhood never got a descent answers mentality: “not my problem, solve it yourself”! Very disappointed expected more, got a better service a much less expensive places! Location is good, but next to half deserted mall there’re nicer plays to stay. Main hallway had a cigarette smell.. I think the picture says enough about how the place is going to evolve if they keep this up.
