it was good service, the people were nice, and the bed was comfortable. I will be staying again the water in the room took too long to get hot, and we had alittle trouble with the key card
Very spacious and clean. Very courteous staff Bathroom needed to be updated
Very comfy bed. Courteous staff. Convienent parking garage. And Pure Bread bakery one block away was great for breakfast.
I loved the big bed and the cleanliness of the rooms. I didn't like that the television in the sitting room didn't work and the coffee maker was dirty.
Restaurant staff and food was incredible and convenient. The area around this hotel dormant look like a place we'd like to be walking around at night.
Area was super convenient, fast pace to move through hotel , I hate waiting for ever for an elevator. The room was amazing for the price , love being a Starwood member most worthy membership . Well done Sheraton ! See yous soon Staff got a little attitude at front desk at one point but it was fine
The staff and cleanliness of the hotel WAS AWESOME The heated pool wasn't even warm
brand new hotel, very clean. friendly, caring personnel very noisy AC bad wall soundproofing
The beds were awesome and the room was very clean. A very good location at the waterfront. The staff was very accommodating. The elevator noise was irritating. We thought at first it was the heater but later found out it was the clang of the elevator. The breakfast was fair but the burger we had the night before was great. No other complaints.
The staff was present, courteous and helpful at all times - a rare treat in a hotel these days!
Very impressed with The Westin. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great choice for a laid back weekend to just getaway from the city. Good location. We would definitely come back for another stay.
contemporary appointments friendly helpful staff not soundproof rooms
Got a free breakfast coupon for the buffet, which was great.
Scratchy sheets, drab interiors
Staff were helpful from moment we arrived to departure. Beds were very comfortable and room (on the HHonors floor) was clean and well appointed. Buffet breakfast could be trimmed down (omelet bar was barely used) and then included in room rate. Parking is also $15 extra if you add it to your hotel bill. You still park your own car and then get ticket validated at front desk. OR, just hold on to your ticket, don't have it added to your bill, and pay just $11 for an overnight stay to the parking lot attendant!
The location was convenient for our purposes, but there wasn't much to do in the area. If you went out at night there really wasn't anything open. It's the sort of area that closes down after 5 p.m. The staff was friendly and the space was clean. Overall, it was a good value for the money. The bathroom drain was slow running, but that was the only problem with the room. The location is really better suited for business then for a leisure visit.
Parking was not included and no breakfast. Most other hotels include these things for the price.
room décor, tv, and internet service paying for parking
Friendly bar staff Had to pay for parking Had to pay for Breakfast, even continental breakfast
The beds were comfortable and the room had everything I needed for one night. I found a cockroach in the bathroom.
The staff was very professional, friendly and flexible. We originally planned to stay for three nights but b/c of a blizzard we had to stay two additional nights. The microwave needs replacing as the turn table did not rotate. Also, the televisions were not HD so the pictures were blurry.
Rooms were spacious, well-designed, & had excellent lighting. Breakfast during the week was fine (eggs), but on Sat., Sun., & Mon., they serve a terrible chipped beef & gravy on biscuits- inedible. That alone would prevent me from staying there on weekends.
All conveniences were there. You might want to add another computer for guest use, as one week night I did find both computers in lengthy use by one person and his partner. Inasmuch as my stay included time during the Passover Jewish holiday, your breakfast buffet should have included Passover matzoh as one of the available choices, and there was none. This would seem to show some ethnic insensitivity, since Jewish patrons should not eat bread or similar baked goods on this holiday.
Stayed one night on a road trip. Can't beat the location right off the highway. Comfortable bed, great air conditioning, great night's sleep.
Wonderful customer service, comfortable and very clean rooms, and an awesome price! I loved everything!
Great location and free shuttle service was nice to and from downtown. Pricey on top of $25 cost for parking fee
Staff Bedsheets wasn't clean
Only thing wrong was late at night had young females running and Loud in the hallway.
Clean nice rooms Pool was dirty. Too many occupants in the pool. Hot tub was broke and dirty
I liked the amenities in the room , the coffee served was good and the bed was very comfortable. I liked the jet bathtub in the bathroom. I didn't like that the room didn't have any Windows to the outside. It only showed Windows to the hallway of the hotel. It was weird because people walking in the hallway could see into our room. The room also had some random stains on the couch and on the wall. I think the room overall was clean but they missed a few spots during cleaning.
Staff was great.. Location convenient except for one of only 2 access roads was covered with 2' of water and closed.. This hotel sat unfinished for many years as a result of its owners trying to defy local ordinances. When the current owners took over its very apparent that the finishing construction was rushed, and there was little to No attention to detail, or even quality. Our room which was a deluxe suite was very nice and contemporary on first appearance. But stepping into the vast bathroom the lack of ATD, and current maintance was apparent. The ceiling covering the air duct was peeling paint from one side of the room to the other. 75% of the grout around the jacuzzi tub was either missing or falling out and the tiles around the base were falling out.. The toilet paper holder was so far from the toilet that you had to literally get up from the toilet to reach it and I'm 6' tall. We checked in 2 the 2 rooms we had reserved around 7:45pm and neither of our rooms were ready at almost 8 at night. My wife and I headed to the bar for a much needed drink and appetizer. Upon arriving at the lounge, I asked the bartender what she recommended. I was told that the shrimp, tomato, avocado with "garlic and olive oil" (as described on the menu) was " the best thing on the menu". When it arrived it was a bowl of shrimp tomatoe concasse, and diced avacado (way over ripe) drowned in a heavy cheese sauce. There was no.mention of cheese, cream or dairy on the menu, nor by the bartender who reccomended it. This is the Sheraton? Come on..this is simple stuff. I am a professionally trained chef, and have successfully opened and managed over 17 restaurants in my career. This is just basic common sense for a beginner to accurately describe your menu items. What if I or my guest were lactose intolerant? The menu implies something light and fresh, but what you get is the exact opposite. Big thumbs down here. Looking around there is indication, after indication once again that there is little to no care or pride put into maintaining this property. Crown molding all over is not even close to fitting together properly, carpet in common areas is pulling away from walls and stairs, almost every window we saw in the common areas was filthy and covered with hand prints. Just not what I would.consider as standard for a Sheraton, that is fairly new.. I want to be clear that every staff member I interacted with was incredibly polite and accomadating which shows that there is a manger in place with great pride for their staff. I'm guessing based on professional experience that there is non existent ownership in place that requires the staff to operate on a shoestring budget and that puts the margin before all else.
Every night my sleep was interrupted by a very loud noise coming from a backing up garbage truck that sounded like a giant alarm clock. Front desk promised but failed to move my room. They also swore that the truck won't be back on my last night of stay, yet once again I was woken up prematurely.
Right in the center of thing on concord pike. Some added touches of free coffee, tea, hot cocoa and soup in lobby.
Clean, free wifi, free parking, free pop corn one night, free soup one night and free business center for guests. Professional, courteous staff and the front desk was extra, extra professional, polite, and very courteous. No
The best part of the hotel were the cookies and free wifi. I hated the way the room was arranged and the cable channels they offered.
Hotel was very nice, clean, updated and in an extremely convenient location. The customer service and attention to detail by the staff was top notch. Staff was kind and courteous, they truly went the extra mile to make our stay the best it could be. no, we were beyond satisfied with our stay, no complaints

Front desk staff excellent Cleanliness of room, no coffee maker or microwave
Hotel employee checked me in, and made fun of my name, Lee Harvey. I've heard it before and told him to go easy on that. He persisted in making fun of it. I objected again, and he said, 'There's no harm in one more Oswald joke is there?' Wow.
The staff are amazing! They go out of their way to help, are super friendly, and love their jobs! Breakfast is 'ok'. but there is always plenty, and it's fresh. They encourage you to use dining room for family events! Rooms are quiet and spacious! Rooms are a bit dated, but they are CLEAN! I love this hotel- it is our go to place every time we're there- visiting, family events, etc. The only negative I can think of is I would pick a better coffee to have in the lobby...:-)
The 2 room suite is great. Have stayed here in the past and it's always immaculate! Nice, comfortable bed/bedding. Quiet. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Great coffee. Very accommodating staff. Always look forward to staying here when we visit family in the area. There used to be a pond and walking trail behind the hotel with a seat/swing beside it. It was the perfect place to sit and catch your breath. Unfortunately, "progress" has taken its toll and now there is a structure being built there. A walking trail still exists, but the pond is gone. Sometimes change is not for the best.
Staffer Ali was wonderful I appreciate the hot breakfast Love the quiet, spacious suites Really really appreciate the link with the JCC Nothing that I can think of
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. During our first night there were several people on the common outside balcony holding a loud noisy conversation that kept us awake for about an hour. During our second night I thought the folks in a next door room had their TV show on too loud until realising that it was a male yelling at another person (lot of "F" words). At about 2:00 am we could hear loud slapping. The disturbance continued until about 4:00 am. Kept us awake. There was no meat at the breakfast buffet. The first morning the French toast was missing when we arrived but was restored after about 15 minutes. The second morning we wished to eat and leave but 30 minutes after the published breakfast start there were no eggs or French toast. Toast arrived after another 10 and eggs later still. After getting a wi-fi connection it disconnected frequently.
Upgraded for free because kayak booked us a handicapped room when we didn't need one. Staff was nice and place was clean. Kinda loud at night and faucet in bathroom dripped all the time.
I found hair in my shower from someone else, bed sheets stained, towels dirty, poor service in restaurants.
NOT A BLESSED THING!!!!!!! The entire experience was awful to put it mildly. The room stunk terribly, the light fixture between the beds was broken, it shorted out on me when I tried to light it. That is just to start. I have pics of how bad it was. In short, we hated everything!!!
Ground floor rooms Homeless people around the hotel; cigarette burns on the bed sheets; the bed sheets and pillows have 'Property of Memorial Hospital, Martinsville, VA'; room was supposed to be non-smoking but the room wreaked of smoke; low flow showers
He was nice to change room We got robbed not a good place to stay there really bad environment
nothing my reservation was cancelled when i arrived to hotel so i had to look for another hotel.
Plenty of parking Rude. Lost my reservation. Bad area. Little service. Poor quality of room.
location to downtown it did not provide all of the amenities described online
Nothing Very bad neighborhood, we kept an eye on our car all night, people going talking all night, we could hear everything. Wi-Fi does not work, filthy room, door handle broken for the bathroom.
Absolutely nothing. The picture on the website was not an accurate indication of the accommodations. We did not stay the night, and checked into another hotel.
Rooms clean, personnel extremely nice. Tea wasn't as elaborate as the travel book I bought made it sound, but still nice to have the tea available in the afternoons. Breakfast also extremely nice. We were very happy and would stay here again~!
Staff was very accommodating. Beautiful atmosphere. Great breakfast. It was hard to find.
I loved how it felt like a B&B but had the privacy of a hotel. The decor was dated but it added to the charm for the most part. The fireplace and tub were wonderful and even had candles. The breakfast was decent for a free meal. I would stay again. There were a few things like the soap dish & tub that had marks/chips in them but overall, the unit and building was in good shape, just dated a little. The waffle maker gave us trouble at breakfast, & no micro/coffee in the room but the fridge was useful
This is a charming small hotel located very close to attractions in the Brandywine Valley. Great service, free afternoon tea, very nice continental breakfast included with a lovely lobby and wine bar. The rooms were clean and well decorated. A great place for couples for a weekend getaway and a very reasonable price.
It was a charming place to stay. We were served a lovely breakfast. The room was very pretty and comfortable Wish we had a coffee pot in the room. Breakfast wasn't until 8:00 so we early birds had to wait.
We loved our room, the fireplace and Jacuzzi were delightful. The staff was wonderful. The location was great - very close to everything we wanted to do.
Hotel was friendly, with tea and cookies in the afternoon, and a good breakfast selection in the afternoon. The room was made up upon our return. We found the hotel very quiet and the location was perfect. I can't think of anything we didn't like.
I loved that the hotel was in it's own quaint village with little shops that was within walking distance. We went to the restaurant Brandywine Prime where we had an excellent dinner. The room had a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. Everything was great!
The room was lovely, quiet and private. The hot tub was spacious and gas fireplace welcoming in February. The breakfast was outstandingly fresh and the dining room was clean and charming. All in all, the experience was a nice addition to our visit to the Brandywine Museum.
The quiet and cleanliness as well as the good mattress and pillows which made for a restful night Nothing I can think of. Perhaps a bit more imagination could be used in planning the breakfast selections.
The sweet character, the location, the decorations. The pillows are lumpy, and the beds need upgrading.
