The hotel was very pretty - nice lobby, good surroundings. Dawn beach is nice and easily accessed from the hotel pool. Food was pretty good and I felt safe staying there. I would come back to this property with friends or family in the future.
This is definitely a big hotel and has a resort feel. This is not bad at all but if you are looking for peace and quiet you should go elsewhere. There were large parties of family reunions and other gatherings. Sometimes they were quite loud. Again not a drawback unless you are looking for something more quaint. My only real complaint was that the dinner service on my first night at ocean was quite slow. And the server for the pool bar kept hitting on me and would not take the hint to leave me alone.
