Cleanliness, Bar in lobby, and the great location for downtown activities and their professional sporting events.
Paying $20 a night for parking.
The ladies at the front desk were great!! Very helpful in answering all of our questions and going out of their way to make sure all our needs were met.
We wished the hotel restaurant wasn't the main lobby bar. Lots of noise and too much going on to enjoy a meal there. Our service at the bar wasn't great. Had trouble getting served so we went elsewhere.
Location & view of the city
Security was a bit overly strict and kind of rude.
Rooms were noisy, ridiculous price to use the Internet to print off game tickets.
Loved the lady that checked us in. Hotel was clean and room looked nice. Breakfast was really good too. The manager was really nice
The room was very hot. We called down to the front desk and asked for a fan. The girl said they didnt have fans and there was nothing she could do. We barely slept. We complained in the am and hotel employee gave us two free breakfasts.
I loved the price! Location was amazing. It seemed 'homey'
Trying to find the entrance and parking
They recently remodeled and did a great job on materials & comfort. The beds & bedding was very comfortable to sleep in & the dark-out window coverings were nice to block out the sun so we could sleep.
It would be nice if they had a pool or Jacuzzi to relax in also.
They were very accommodating even with room choice.
Very expensive for parking with a lot that would overfill. They waived our parking, but watch out for the overflow.
Beautiful hotel! Friendly and helpful staff! We will choose the Marriott again, for sure!
Everything was perfect. No complaints.
Elevators located at one end of building and we were staying on the other end.
It was close enough to Busch Stadium for a nice walk to the game, but it was far enough away to be nice and quiet.
The beds were super comfortable!
People next door were loud couldn't get any sleep also motorcycles going down the road at might
Clerk didn't follow through with 3 different things. Waited 20-30 minutes for bell hop who never came. Prices for anything was exorbitant.
Contemporary decor, fun bar & well equipped workout facility.
Paying so much extra for parking.
Paying for Internet
Newly remodeled. More elevators than most hotels. Associates were extremely courtesy and friendly. Tall ceilings which made the room feel bigger.
Floor appeared not to have been vacuumed inside of closet. Lack of hot tub/spa area.
Location was great and really enjoyed the lively atmosphere in the lobby
Beds were really small, there was some confusion over the fact that we added an additional night's stay after the original reservation, and the toilet paper in the bathroom was the worst I've ever experienced at any hotel.
Very polite and helpful staff.
No amenities. Every small item was an extra charge.
There is no desk and chair in the room though there is sofa. Not convenient for doing desk job.
We liked that we could walk to our places of interest in the downtown area.
The parking was atrocious. We waited in the valet line for an hour (not exaggerating). We went valet because the self parking lot was full and since it was our first time in the area we did not know there was an overflow lot (our fault on this one)..
The location is very good only about a half mile from the Arch and other attractions.
Be prepared to be nickeled and dimed at the hotel. Everything is an added cost. The staff doesn't care whether you stay with them or somewhere else. This is very little to recommend this hotel.
Parking is very inconvenient, Far from the hotel and very expensive.
location and many of the amenities
no in-room internet without a charge, people begging for money by front doors on hotel property. Old tv's and outdated technology. Hotel has not been maintained to Marriott standards.
They gave us a parking pass for the parking garage but didn't tell us until we checked out that it was $18 a day! & we had to walk three blocks to our car!
Location was good, getting to hotel and getting back to interstate was easy.
I would have thought with a hotel of this quality and star level it would have included breakfast, free internet in room and micro/fridge. I was traveling to St. Louis to Barnes Hosp. and needed more amenities.
Great location, beautiful lobby. Room was clean.
Room was across from a parking garage; at 7:30 Saturday morning, three jackhammers started going. Very loud and disruptive. I told Front Desk and their reply was 'That's not our parking garage, the city takes care of that.' Very busy loud floor.
