Lovely rooms with a beautiful outlook. The facilities were excellent in spite of a few maintenance niggles which the new owners are addressing. The staff are outstanding and friendly and the food really is superb!
Very noisy and excessive amorous sounds from very young neighbours late at night temporarily drowning out the peaceful African night sounds and water feature. The rooms are large, perhaps some of that space could be used to bolster sound-proofing.
Lovely people. Wonderful room. Good food.
Everything was fine!
Nice little town location. Spacious accommodation . Quite nice grounds , peaceful location. Good breakfast .
Bathroom was dated , raised blue corner bath, raised so high that you hit your head on the light fitting . No mirror in the bathroom at all . Rain fall shower head is fitted at a height less than 6ft high , if you are this height or taller you have to duck down to get under the shower head.
Very nice garden and excellent breakfast plus very kind staff to make up. This is the very first hotel from the highway but nonetheless very quiet.
Very oldish decor and rather functional appearance ruled out room. Not a four star appearance. Note that the hotel changed it name recently.
Great food and friendly helpful staff. Oak lodge was very good. Excellent central location. Much better than Tsitsikamma Lodge and Spa!
Pool area not great.
