It was convenient to I-75 except the GPS wanted to route us a different path to get to the hotel. Room was nice, had a microwave and fridge. Didn't really use them, but always a nice plus just in case. They also provided breakfast. The only downside for me is a personal one and in no way is a direct relation to the hotel. The breakfast wasn't up to my standards, but mostly everyone else liked it. They had a ton to pick from so any complaints could be fixed by choosing something else.
it served the purpose. however the hotel needs to invest in remodeling the facility to attract more travelers.
It was a good price so I didn't expect much The bedding was old. There was no blanket just a sheet and old bed cover. I was staying while on a fishing trip so it was fine for a place to sleep
I love the staff here. They go above and beyond in order to make sure that you are comfortable and accomodated. I went to find myself. To try to figure out my purpose and i gained not only my relationship with God but also new friends.
It was clean, modern and the staff was extreemly friendly! Pool has bbqs to grill and the dock is great to go fishing It was perfect!
Just a great place to stay. Rooms are spacious and have cooking options. The pool area is nice. The beach is clean. The tennis courts are well-maintained.
Less than $100/night for a 1 bedroom with a full kitchen Spacious shower with good, hot water pressure Nice front desk night person. The washer/dryer area smelled bad. In attempting to clean up spilled water off the tile floor, the rag was black with dirt after wiping it. White duvet cover was stained and dirty with some black solid substance - dare I say feces? We hung our first set of towels after using them, thinking we'd reuse them, but no, they were replaced with fresh towels - wish they'd spend the time and resources cleaning surfaces instead. Stained tile in shower - wish I would have brought water shoes. The wifi was poor and unusable King mattress was old and uncomfortable Pillows were thin and lumpy.
Staff is friendly very helpful Their wifi is very weak and the cable selection is a little off putting.
Nice Room, quiet , overall a pleasant stay
Room and View nothing
I love the attentiveness of staff. I am an odd duck and they made me feel welcomed. I checked in to find myself and connect with God and I did just that.
The room was very nice. Kitchenette, Sitting room, balcony overlooking the marina and Tampa Bay. The facilities are well maintained. Pool, hotub, boat and jet ski rental right in the property. We were able to watch dolphin and manatees from our room as they swam in the harbor. While the facility was wonderful, the surrounding area wasn't consistent with the property itself. Not really a problem per se, just unexpected.
Nothing at all
Very friendly staff, clean That I had to leave
We enjoyed the location and the waterfront. Pool was good. The cleanliness could have been a lot better. I asked several times for the tile floors to be mopped. They were filthy when we got there. Bathrooms were not cleaned daily. We had 4 people sharing a room It would have been nice for the bathroom sinks and mirror to be cleaned everyday. We requested a roll away that came with several urine stains. They did replace it with a new one with the plastic still on.When we made the requests the staff did come quickly. They show on the website they offer water activities which we found out were closed on Monday's. We were ok with that but when we called on Tuesday we were told they would not be renting any equipment that day. All the equipment was on the beach but we could not use it. Disappointing as we were looking forward to using the equipment.
Great staff, great view and 2 restraunts near by. Showers need to be cleaned better and some rooms need to be bug sprayed. But over still a great place stayed in 6 different rooms so far only 1 had a few bugs.
Nice rooms, small kitchen close to pools. Tv needed updated.
Beach and tikki Nasty old rooms
I liked the wildlife - that's it! The hotel was overpriced, looked tired and dirty. We landed in Tampa from the UK and headed to the hotel. Finding and entering this place was like going to an armed prison camp. The Sat Nav couldn't even find it, and when we got there, it was like a military installation with gate check it. It didn't feel like it was for our protection, (protection from who?) more like crossing a border into another country. There was another couple who arrived right after us who felt exactly the same as me. (both of us got lost trying to find it in the dark) and the gate directions to the hotel entrance were useless. We finally did find it at 11:00 - and when we got to our room, it didn't have the two double beds as requested. So we had to change rooms again. Also, when I made the booking, I called and asked for a room with a balcony (as I saw on the website) but was told there were no rooms with balconies. But when I got there, yes there were! I left the next morning feeling completely ripped off and not the least bit happy. The room looked old and tired - the air conditioning was noisy and no windows could open. Not a happy stay at all!
Our family enjoyed the multiple amenities such as the pools, private beach, gym, and rental to be within walking distance of each other. Staff and management were the friendliest and most helpful we've ever worked with. Thank you! The fees. We paid the rooms in full through Kayak (getaroom) but when we got there we were told there is a deposit of $40 per night per room. There is also a resort fee separate from that of 8.95 per night per room charged when you check out (these fees are posted, we were aware). Thankfully, the staff and management were able to assist and a positive outcome for all parties prevailed.
We liked everything. Great place to stay with family. Planning to come back next year.
associate who helped us check out was cheerful and amazing associate who checked us in was a little rude, had to ask him to slow down and repeat himself and he looked irritated when i asked questions
We loved the size and quality of the rooms, and the rates were outstanding. It is anticipated that we will return to this spot. It would have been nice to have been put in rooms next to each other as we were a group of 4 sharing 2 rooms ... as it were, we were on opposite ends of the building. I didn't request it of the registration staff, but in hindsight feel they should have offered, especially since there was no one in a room adjoining one of our rooms.
I stayed here because I needed a hotel in this general area. The bed and pillows were great! I booked this because The Rukin has some pretty good ratings on "another site". Those ratings are underserved. This hotel is great for contractors, workers in the area, etc. 9 out of 10 vehicles in the parking lot are trucks. The Ruskin is comparable to a Super 8. I would not choose this hotel again.
I needed a place that took pets. It did for $20 extra. The beds we comfortable. The room appeared to be clean except a musty odor possibly from carpet shampoo. It was quiet and the staff was nice. Big rip in the curtain. Room and furniture were kind of beat up. Pool has so much green algae in it I wouldn't think of going in. So the unusable pool made me pretty mad. Front door to hotel just filthy with grimy hand prints. If you don't have a pet stay at The Inn at Little Harbor. Beautiful pool, view and room for the same price.
Amiri are the front desk was great. Great customer service and always cheerful and smiley!
This hotel was fine for the money. The breakfest in the morning was okay. Food was gone when we were there. It was a little iffy. The staff was very nice.
The hotel was very dirty. Cigarette burns in the mattresses and blankets. The pillows were so old they were "crumbly." We will never stay there again.
