Pros: The rooms are spacious the staff was wonderful all the staff clean not loud loved my stay the cleaning lady was super sweet always made sure we had towels and Jessie at the front desk was supper awesome but all staff again was friendly we will be back thanks for a wonderful stay for my 11th year anniversary
Cons: I liked everything

Pros: The staff at the hotel went out of their way to make sure every part of our stay was enjoyable.
Pros: Everything. I even lost a scarf and security had in back to me in no time! Fabulous resort especially the crab omelet for breakfast.
Pros: So many activities for children, it is a perfect vacation spot. The service staff is of utmost courtesy. Fishing off the pier is a must!
Cons: The hotel has an incredible pool, but the configuration makes it difficult to keep an eye on your children. There is no lifeguard which I think the hotel could afford to hire.
Pros: Beautiful position, pool, open fires
Cons: Ridiculously long lines for tea and coffee, very poor quality of breakfast, bad waiting staff in the restaurant
I will definitely return to The Grand. Our room overlooked the beautiful pool and everything was just so easy. My daughter looked forward to Popsicles at 2pm by the pool and the afternoon tea and cookies announced by the firing of the cannon. Truly old school charm and beauty meets modern pool facility and room decor. My favorite thing to do was sit around a fire pit outside of Buckey's drinking a glass of wine and watching the kids play on the sprawling lawn while the sunset over the ocean. I miss it already.
Pros: The grounds are breathtaking , the staff is so friendly and helpful, and I love the fact our kids could roam around.
Pros: It's in an excellent location, and the conference facilities are top-notch.
Pros: Public Space/Outdoor area
Cons: The food was not so great...
Overall we enjoyed our stay, but forXXX that gave us a room overlooking the parking lot ('resort view' in their terminology) we were not satisfied. While it was a decent room, the beds were not all that comfortable and we could hear the people in the next room almost as if they were in our room. I was having some muscle pains and looking forward to the hot tub, but the hot tub by the pool was closed for unnamed reasons and to use the whirlpool in the spa was a minimum $35/day charge. We spent the evening at a local function, returning at midnight to find there were no parking spaces. After touring the entire facility looking we gave up and used the valet, who delivered us quickly to our door. Imagine my surprise the next morning when there was a message on the phone to 'come to the desk to arrange for payment' of the valet charge. It seems to me if there is not a space available, the valet should be free. In summary, to have a good stay here, get out your credit card and don't look back. Get a room with a view, use valet parking, and pay the spa fee. I've had better for less.
Pros: Very beautiful, restful grounds.
Cons: It was all about the money.

Located near Fairhope, Alabama in the picturesque beach hamlet of Point Clear, our resort offers guests opportunities for both relaxation and entertainment. Challenge yourself at one of two renowned golf courses at the Lakewood Club, or spend the day finding balance at our 20,000 square-foot Grand Spa. Bring the kids to our stunning pool complex, break a sweat at one of our ten tennis courts, or explore the white sand beaches of Alabama's famed Gulf Coast. We also invite you to enjoy our array of dining opportunities, including fresh seafood at the Saltwater Grill and steak specialties at the Grand Steakhouse. When not exploring the myriad of activities available at our resort, guests can relax in their well-appointed hotel rooms and suites; our in-room amenities include free Wi-Fi Internet, LCD TVs, and luxurious bedding. Experience coastal living at its best at the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort, Golf Club & Spa.
Pros: What a beautiful beachfront view from our room! The room faced directly to the Gulf, almost entirely unobstructed. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the staff made sure we had plenty of pillows. The resort is well-appointed, with several restaurants, a gift shop and an office to book any type of water adventures you might want. We only ate at Latitude 30 this time, but it was quite good for the price. We didn't eat at Voyager's this time, but we have in the past, and it was one of the most memorable dining experiences I've ever had.
It's also very close to many great shops at San Roc Cay, including some exceptional restaurants.
The white sand beaches of Orange Beach simply can't be beat. Make sure to reserve lounge chairs and umbrella on the beach; at $30 a day they're not cheap but absolutely worth it, especially if you burn easily.
Cons: Coffee service in lobby ends at 9am, and no other beverages in lobby - disappointing from a full service resort. Despite booking in advance, our room was not ready at 4pm as promised, and the staff did not offer any perks as a result of our inconvenience. The in-room coffee was not an award winner either, but seemed to be somehow better on the second day. Has the typical awful pillows as most hotels do, though I would have expected something slightly better from this resort.
Pros: Room was excellent, great view of the beach - loved the location the most.
Cons: Spa/jacuzzi area was filthy (hair, garbage, leaves floating) and there was so much chlorine our eyes burned from five minutes in there. loud college kids drinking and smoking around pool at night (felt less like a resort and more like a cheap spring break hotel).
Pros: We had a great time. It is centrally located and right on the beach.
Cons: There were some self described "Frat boys" that were pretty awful on the beach, but when they moved up to the pool and began urinating in the shrubs the hotel security quickly corrected them and I did not see them again.
Pros: Had everything we needed. Destiny at the front desk was the most pleasant and helpful person we came across. The industry needs more stars like her.
Cons: Be aware of your room location. We could smell the garbage that we were put by the whole time. Latitude30 service was terrible. Slow, and not how we requested. Charged for items we never received but manager never was available. One server on a holiday night.
Pros: Slept great in the bed. Very comfortable pillows and mattress, and the room was very clean. The view of the gulf overlooking the pool was gorgeous. The piano player in the lobby was great and many people enjoyed dancing in the evening.
Cons: One of the elevators was broken, so their was only one working on our side. Their was a retreat that weekend with hundreds of loud and obnoxious teenagers. We hopped on the elevator after waiting for it for about 10 minutes and the 10 kids that were on it had pressed all of the elevator floor buttons before they got off as a prank. It was really really annoying. We finally made it to the 9th floor where our room was and unloaded. When we went outside to relax on the balcony the kids at the pool and on the balconies across the hotel on the other side had laser pointers flashing and shining in our eyes. We saw the potential of having an enjoyable time had everything worked and the kids not been there but unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay at all. We wanted to eat breakfast the next morning at their restaurant but it was so chaotic and crowded the wait was too long. We ended up going to Waffle House and leavaing early.
Pros: Proximity to beach and local amenities.
Cons: We found no fault.
Pros: Our balcony was huge with an amazing view of the beach . It was room #5015 . Everyone was so friendly and the place was very clean . We will stay there again !
Cons: No negative comments on the hotel .
Pros: The room was very nice, clean, pretty spacious. We had no complaints with the room or staff.
Cons: We just thought it was a bit overpriced. I will qualify that by saying, I know it was peek season but at 299 a night it was a bit much. We are use to staying in a multi bedroom condo with kitchen for those prices. We were just staying one night and a lot of other places were booked up so I understand. I'd stay again under similar circumstances.
Pros: Everything was kept super clean and the whole staff was amazingly friendly. Have stayed here once before and it was just as great each time. The rooms are nice and the view is perfect. Good distance from the water and awesome pool area
Cons: The restaurants were extremely expensive and they didn't let our pizza delivery lady come up to the room. When questioned, the answer was so that we would be more likely to buy from their restaurants.
Pros: Nice location.
Cons: The A/C wasn't very cool. The balcony was very small.
Pros: Beds were comfortable. Hotel was clean. "Angled beach view" was as advertised. for the one person who could see it at a time, the vbiew was okay. The other person was out of luck unless they wanted to see the neighboring condos or their pool
Cons: Room size, Difficult to control the heating/AC TINY bathroom
"Angled beach view" was as advertised, so when combined with the minuscule balcony, only one of us could sit on the balcony and see the beach/ocean at the time. There was room for the 2 of us, but only one could see anything
Pros: All inclusive!
Cons: Bathroom was small
Perdido Beach Resort offers a private beach where you can play volleyball, plus you'll have access to onsite parasailing, sailing, and kayaking. The outdoor pool and indoor pool provide fun for everyone, and guests can also take advantage of a 24-hour fitness center and 4 outdoor tennis courts. Voyagers, one of 4 restaurants, serves American cuisine and is open for dinner. 3 bars/lounges and a nightclub are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like iPod docks and premium bedding.
Pros: The room is big and very clean. There's a kitchen in the room. It'll be very convenient if you stay several days here. I like this hotel!
Pros: Clean hotel
Cons: Poor customer service.
Pros: Even though we did not have an animal with us, I loved how this place is pet-friendly. As a person who works with animals, I was very impressed with the cleanliness and well put together the hotel was. The staff was very nice. We did have a closet door that was broken, but all I had to do was call to the front desk and make them aware,(as I did not want to be charged a damage fee), they made note of it.

Pros: The staff was very attentive, the whole compound was landscaped to reduce most if not all road noise. We were very impressed with our stay.
Cons: The only thing I could possibly come.up with is that the A/C was a bit noisy during the night. But that's because a light sleeper.
Cons: You aren't close to the beach and the room cost alot. The room was very small and the bed wasnt comfortable at all.

Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly, the Inn clean and well maintained. Not on the beach but close and with nice beach access and golf cart shuttles to the beach entrance.
All rooms in this area are pricier than you'd think compared to other areas on the gulf but these prices are in line and fair .
Cons: My only complaint was the ice maker on the third floor was not working ... other floors worked fine and staff called in a work order to get it repaired .
Pros: The bed was super comfortable the staff was very friendly, they were accommodating a high school band competition but they had plenty to eat for breakfast
Cons: The bed was super comfortable the staff was very friendly, they were accommodating a high school band competition but they had plenty to eat for breakfast
Pros: Great room for the money.
Cons: Room was a little small but had everything you need.
Pros: People were so nice. Looked more like a resort inside
Pros: Very comfortable and clean. Great location By a Walmart and across the street from the beach. Breakfast was great.
Pros: Free breakfast, wifi, swimming pool and hot tub. The staff was overly friendly and the location is great. A very short walk to the beach( short enough for my 2 year old) but they also have a shuttle if you need it. Several restaurants, ice cream shop, and grocery stores in walking distance
Cons: Nothing to complain about except maybe better eggs with breakfast. They serve premade egg foam circles (but still very edible)

Pros: The location is fantastic and the staff is wonderful!
Pros: The best part of staying at this hotel was access to the beautiful beach and the view. Every room faces the gulf. The room was clean and toiletries were higher end.
Cons: The tv guide was missing, the pillows were lumpy and the bed was further than i prefer.
Pros: The rooms and the view were amazing.
Cons: When I booked the hotel it said I was getting a king bed with balcony. I came to orange beach with my fiancé. However, when I got there they gave me too queen size beds, knowing we were together. Mind you I booked the room a month before. I had to argue with the front desk for thirty min until they FINALLY gave me what I asked for. Why not just do it right the first time? Why tell me you don't have an availability and then thirty min later when I said to cancel they said "oh we may have a room actually...." Get the f... Out of here. Really? Not to mention when you ask for towels the manager front desk lady has the biggest attitude. Great view but without good service this place is nothing. Treat people how you would want to be treated. I will not be coming back.
Pros: Loves the Island House Hotel. Right on the beach, complimentary pool towels and beach towels, cafe on premises with great food and reasonably priced, and plenty of room on the beach. Highly recommend!
Pros: Location. The bed was excellent.
Cons: Generally unfriendly staff to include the Restaurant folks.
Pros: The location was good. The pool is nice.
Cons: They didn't furnish a refrigerator or microwave. They offered to rent one for $20 / night. It seem everything was for additional price.
Pros: Family friendly
Cons: Staff wasn't very friendly. When I checked out the woman had her cellphone out and vapor cigarette. She was short with me when I asked if I would receive a receipt.

Pros: Great spot to relax and enjoy the gulf coast at the coast.
accommodations are more than adequate with great staff and pool, with easy beach access
get to gulf coast and experience a great time, our second year here
Cons: the only drawback was the noisy carts being used by the staff early and late in the day.. need some rubber tires, not plastic on the tile floor
bring your own umbrella and chair as rental is high
Pros: Loved the staff and hotel! All aspects of it!
Cons: People saving seats around the pool and not being there all day. Elevator was slow but we enjoyed and used the stairs.
Pros: The staff was very friendly. Right on the beach. Close to everything. Continental breakfast was very good.
Cons: Room could have been a little cleaner but not too bad.
Pros: Great pool. Easy access to beach
Cons: Didn't have Internet and couldn't find my reservations then Billed my credit card twice.

You'll find white sandy beaches warm breezes and the pristine blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico just outside our front door. We provide a name you can trust when visiting the great state of Alabama and thanks to our reasonable rates we're the place where you can
Pros: I liked a lot about most Holiday Inns and this was no different. It had a lot of convenient / cool amenities, like very delicious hot breakfast, a gym, a pool / hot tub, Bed Bath and Beyond lotion, etc. I really appreciated that they had soft and firm pillows on the bed and labeled it accordingly! My friend that I traveled with is a little bit of a germophobe and she lifted up both of our beds to check for bed bugs. We definitely didn't find any; the rest of the room was also very clean.
Cons: One of the only things I didn't like was that our room couldn't get Wifi Connection. When I called the front desk, they did offer to switch our room, but we were already settled in. It was okay, though, because I think most of their rooms have Wifi, just ask if that's something that's important to you.
Cons: No hot water in shower on day two
Pros: This hotel was in a great spot, not too far from the beach and not too close to all the action. It's quite and friendly, there's even a decent bar and grill on the other side of the hotel. Staff was friendly and considerate. I'd stay here ahakn
Pros: Front counter staff was warm and welcoming very eager to make sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was clean beds were comfortable.
Cons: Beds were a little stiff
Pros: Overall great stay.
Cons: Breakfast was a little crowded but that happens.
Pros: Hot breakfast until 9:30 was good. Theres a bar within walking distance that was a neat place. And its next to some nice walking paths. Comfortable beds and great bathrooms also.
Cons: Only an outdoor pool was really the only downside.
Pros: The room was very nice and clean.
Cons: There were children above us running up and down The halls screaming and slamming doors at all hours. My family and I didn't feel relaxed. We could not rest.
Cons: Bathroom exhaust fan didn't work; shower head was not secure in it's support

Pros: Oceanfront view, breakfast (Pancake House), beds were somewhat comfortable.
Cons: No laundry mat or a bit outdated, not enough channels.
Pros: It was in a great location. Right on the beach, within walking distance to The Hangout and many other restaurants.
Cons: For the price, I was expecting immaculate rooms, the room was a great size beings we had a king suite, but it definitely needs to be updated, furniture was horrible! For the price of 349.99 a night I expected much better rooms. The lobby was newly redone and looked great, so I figured the rooms would be the same!

Pros: The staff was nice and the location was great. The breakfast was great as well.
Cons: Bathroom was moldy and rusty. The carpet was stained. There wasn't significant disrepair but general disrepair was everywhere. In general it wasn't bad just not up to HGI standards.
Pros: The location is great. The breakfast there was great at $9.99. The room was clean, plenty of space and a Kuerig Coffeemaker.
Pros: The view of the beach was very nice. We enjoyed the balcony and ocean view. The staff was very friendly and accommodating when we decided to stay an extra day. The atmosphere in the lobby was inviting with fresh water and coffee. The warm breakfast also included omelets or French toast made fresh.
Cons: The only suggestion for improvement I would add would be to extend the beach chair/umbrella rental time. We rented the chairs for two days (Friday and Saturday) and we weren't ready to leave the beach at 5pm when the workers started removing the cushions and umbrellas.
Pros: Good location and beach access.
Cons: Random room cleaning. The WIFI sucks big time. Plus they have blocked any outside signals. Want to send a text or email without paying them $5 a day, nope. Better go out to the street.
Pros: I like the fact that it is right on the beach and we can hear the waves with our balcony door open.
The hotel is clean and the staff is good about helping the guests.
We have been to this beach and this particular hotel several times. It generally has the best value for a beach front room that is in a decent hotel.
Cons: They don't have a complimentary breakfast. You can either pay for their breakfast bar or go down the road a bit to get breakfast.
The beds are adjustable for firmness but I have trouble personally finding them comfortable.
Our first night one of the air bladders in the bed was broken and we were so tired we didn't bother reporting it until the next morning. They did move us into another room for the duration of our stay as quickly as they could though.

Cons: The hotel was not keep up. Needed to be cleaner.
Pros: The staff was friendly.
Cons: There was mold on the walls. Nothing was up to code.
Pros: Good location
Cons: When we checked in to our room the door to our room was completely open. Went and complained, the lady was rude and said the towel man or maid probably "forgot" to close the door. Only the bathroom light worked in our room. The beds were dirty, one bed had either dead bugs or something else all on it.
Pros: The general location was close to a lot of fun things in Gulf Shores
Cons: The fact that it wasn't very clean really turned me off. The laundry machines were out of order. They ran out of clean towels one day..and we only stayed three nights.
Cons: no clean towels
Pros: Room was dirty and the breakfest was not good, the only thing which was good was the king size bad and clean sheets.
Cons: The hotel is disgusting and breakfast is literally bagels and two choices of cereal. The "clean" towels that were in our room had stains on them, the toilet seat was dirty and had hair on it, and the chairs in the room had so many stains on them that I didn't even want my dog touching them. When I asked for more towels, of course they didn't have any clean. Half the time the lady at the front desk wasn't even there and wasn't seen for long periods at a time. I do not recommend this hotel at all.
Cons: Very poor customer service from start to finish. After arrival I give my information and they can't find my reservation. Then the clerk answers a phone call and leaves me sitting there for 10 mins while she helps the person on the phone. They try to send me to another motel that they describe as " not as nice" until I agree to different accommodations than what I booked. Go to the room where there is an overwhelming smell of carpet deodorizer, no towels, and a TV from the 90's with 6 channels. Should've gotten the hint from previous reviews but the price sold me on it. Next time I'll spend a little more and book a better place.
Pros: The location was very good, it was close to the beach and not far from main stores. Staff was nice and helpful.
Cons: The room had a unpleasant smell, the a/c was not working properly, Shower had a smell, and the carpet was not installed correctly the edge of the wall looked under construction. Definitely not clean or neat, it was to late for us to book a different room so we had to settle.
Pros: It was close to the beach
Cons: I didn't like the fact there was roaches inside the room.
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Tried to call from desk. I was told the phone was broken so they couldn't hear me. An employee did show up at our door to see what we needed. My husband asked for an extra blanket bc the bed was only equipped with a thin blanket with a sheet on top of it. The employee said that she would check but they probably didn't have any and if she didn't come back it was bc she could not locate a blanket. She then commented that it was a warm night anyway. Very poor service!!!!
Pros: Good location
Cons: This is a dying hotel. The Days Inn logo's were still present on everything (the staff said this had been a Days Inn) The staff doesn't care and is unmotivated (is there absent ownership?) Did not bring any clean towels and when we went to the front desk to ask were told they didn't have any although we could see clearly see clean towels in the next room. Several times the phones at the front desk would ring off the hook and staff ignored them and continued to smoke and talk in the doorway. Got the impression it was one big joke to them. At breakfast just had cold cereal available (nothing else) asked staff and she said she "didn't feel like cooking today". Whole facility was filthy like no one was doing any routine cleaning or maintenance. What is going on at this hotel? So much potential with location. Again, this is a dying hotel and I don't see it being around much longer.

Cons: The pictures we saw and thought we were getting for our stay showed a suite. We were I. A small room. The hotel was clean, updated. The location was combined to the ocean and the weather was amazing.
Pros: Great view and right on the beach, staff was amazing...very comfortable beds
Cons: Ice machines didn't work and needed some general maintenance and repairs done around facility...parking was horrible
Pros: Great location, good breakfast, clean room
Cons: Door to the bathroom was broken, shower was partially painted, toilets didn't flush properly, ocean view was more of a parking lot view, and the minifridge was extremely loud.
Pros: Price was okay, proximity to beach was great.
Cons: Bathroom needed to be cleaned a little better
Pros: Closeness to the beach breakfast was good too.
Cons: The pool was small but clean
Pros: The proximity to the beach was great! Room was small but everything seemed new or newer.
Cons: Well..The proximity of the beach greatly diminishes when they lock all the outside doors. The front door was the only one open. When I asked the attendant, he got rude and told me they had noise complaints so they locked all the doors. Wouldnt you just stop the noise instead? And the AC unit was way over its head in the room. Kinda worked...sorta.
Pros: Location was perfect, right on the beach, comfortable bed, nice views, friendly staff.
Cons: Very small bathroom, shower not really clean, my hallway smelled terrible. Like poop. I was on the 3rd floor. At night time when we were sleep my husband & I smelled poop.
Pros: Confortable room. Quaint pool area. Balcony is a plus, but a bit small and narrow.
Cons: We weren't given the option of having a beachfront room. No rooms are smoking. No microwaves in the room. Elevators are extremely slow. Very small continental breakfast, dining area too crowded to tackle alone with a 10 month old. Beach access slightly inconvenient. Definitely overpriced. The majority of the hotel faces the adjoining condos and hotels rather than the beach itself.
Pros: Myself and a group of friends came down to Orange Beach for the Florida George Line Concert. Sleep Inn had a great location that was easy to find. Clean room and overall very clean hotel. Staff was super friendly and knew the area well. I think it's a really great place if you have to do an overnight or maybe a weekend stay.
Cons: We rented a two bedroom for 4 people; there's going to be a space issue no matter how you look at it, but I feel that even with only 2 people there wouldn't be much room. It was an excellent room, but do know ahead of time it is a little close quarters.
Pros: We didn't spend much time in the room because the beach location was perfect. Great restaurants in the area. If you love BBQ then try Moes across the street. Seafood at Sea and Suds to dine and watch the waves.
The staff was friendly and eager to please but Betty the breakfast hostess was delightful and so pleasant every morning. We were very pleased with our stay.
Pros: Location and price
Pros: Hotel was conveniently located
Cons: My wife and I had to leave the night we were scheduled to stay around 9:30pm to get home to our 15 month old who had a bacterial infection. So we were not able to stay the night. The hotel told me to call expedia who "approved" the refund. The front desk person advised me I would then have to call back and speak to the GM to talk refund. Mr Bolin informed me I could not even get a partial refund because they could not book out the room to their sold out hotel. In case of emergency do not expect any "understanding" from Mr. Bolin. 3 important things I have learned from this: 1. Each Choice Hotel is independently owned and operated so a refund of some sort could of been given. 2. Sleep INN in Orange Beach values their $220 more than genuine understanding of the situation and my son's health. 3. I will never stay at a Choice Family Hotel on my dime again. I will tell all my friends this story and recommend the Hampton Inn conveniently located next door. Hope your "policy" was worth the lost business.

Pros: Great customer service.
Good location. Close to beach, zoo, water park, and several good restaurants.
Cons: Had less amenities than a nice hotel would but for the price it is a great hotel.
Pros: It was a great location. Close to beach. The beds are very comfortable.
Cons: Walls are thin.
Pros: Service was polite, room was clean, we didn't really ask for anything so it's not like we got to see much of the staff anyways. We just wanted a cheap place to stay so we could enjoy the beach. But while we were there it was acceptable. No real complaints here.
Cons: There's no elevator in the first building because there's only 2 floors. Call me lazy, but I didn't like carrying all my bags up a flight of stairs.
Pros: There was an incident with one of the guest when I got there. I told the lady at the front desk and apologize. It wasn't get fault. She didn't have anything to apologize for. That was great customer service.
Pros: I enjoyed the way the room was decorated and the cleanliness. The room did not look the same size as the pictures-it was much smaller. They had friendly staff. The location was excellent as well by the beach and fun attractions.
Cons: I didn't care for the confusion upon first arrival. They could not find my reservation. I was almost charged double for the room. The breakfast was dry, hard, and tasteless.
Pros: Price and location was great
Cons: Nothing, everything was great
Pros: Great service and price
Cons: It was hard getting in and out of the parking lot
Pros: This was a nice hotel. It was less than five minutes from the beach. The staff were all very friendly, it was clean, and the bed was very comfortable!
Cons: I wish there had been a refrigerator for our drinks, other than that I have no complaints!
Pros: I like everything about the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable.
Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable. Had a refrigerator. Worth the money.
Cons: No microwave.
Pros: I liked the breakfast and the queen bed.
Cons: There was no fridge for us to put our drinks or snacks in.
Pros: The hotel was located close to the beach, rooms were clean. This hotel is perfect if you need a simple place to stay or if you do not plan to be in your room except to sleep. Our room was a queen single room, it was smaller than we had expected but was still great for us because we were out of the room except for at night. We would definitely stay at this hotel again
Cons: The only thing that we did not like was that the walls seemed too thin. Throughout the night we heard multiple doors shutting loudly, being a light sleeper I was woke up multiple times by this (however I am 7 months pregnant and wake up all through the night anyway) my husband who is a heavier sleeper said he was only woken up by the doors a couple of times.

Wake up to complimentary continental breakfast, and stay connected with complimentary wireless Internet access. Comfortable guest rooms include coffee-maker, hairdryer and TV. Suites and handicapped-accessible rooms are also available. There is no charge for children 17 and under with an adult.
Cons: It is not in the beach you have to cross the highway to get to it. The rooms are in desperate need of remodeling and the hole place is run down.
Cons: Poor smell, not fast hot water-only after 20 minutes, not very good breakfast.
Cons: We stayed for three nights and the first two morning we were awoken by very loud and repetitive banging on the door by housekeeping. Just not very curteous at all.
Pros: Loved that this hotel was so close to the beach! Facility was clean.
Cons: A bit dated not a big deal and didn't effect our stay. The floor are tile which made sand a big issue (of course being near the beach im not sure carpet would be better).
Pros: Pool was nice,
40 feet from the beach
Cons: Bed was tiny
Elevator was run down
Cons: Wet beds, moldy lampshade, cable sucked, front desk personnel and manager were RUDE
Pros: Not much, close to beach but you have to cross a busy street
Cons: Upon arriving we went to our room, kicked off our shoes and chilled for a bit, I had to go use the restroom, there was no toilet paper to be found, my husband picks up the phone to call the front desk and no dial tone, so he had to go back down to the front desk and get a roll, then we see they didn't stock towels and the bottom of our feet from walking around in the room are now black. The only thing housekeeping did to our room was make the bed and the coverlet was either stained or dirty. We paid good money to get a room at this time of year, but I'm telling you here and now,we will never stay at this hotel again. It wasn't worth over $700.00 for three days here.
Pros: Access to beach, location.
Cons: Elevator not working properly.
Pros: The Hotel was across from the beach which made it very easy to return back in case of forgot items. Also, the hotel did provide laundry rooms and ice machines, which made things easier overall.
Cons: The cleaning service came to my room once during our 4 day stay. We did not leave "Do not Disturb" signs on the doors, and still we only received clean towels and had our beds made once.
Pros: It was next to beach!
Cons: I just didnt think it was worth $156.00 for the one night. The breakfast was horrible, no hot food, just dry cereal and pastries, with packaged oatmeal, and i should of stuck with my first mind and that was staying at Hampton Inn which i should of paid the $180.00..
Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, clean pool. Very cold air conditioner.
Cons: Older building showed its age. Cheapest rate by the beach on Gulf Shores, but you get what you pay for.
Pros: The hotel is in a great location, and the rooms are nice.
Cons: The front staff is unnecessarily rude; it was as if it was an inconvenience for them to assist their guests.
When visiting Gulf Shores, Beachside Resort Hotel is a great choice to consider. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, and scuba diving and snorkeling are nearby. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with LED TVs and free WiFi.
