Pros: The hotel has a cool European vibe. The rooms are well-appointed and offer free snacks to the guests. The hotel is centrally located just a quick walk from great restaurants and incredible shopping.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room overlooks the main street thru town and was loud with all the car and truck noises.Better insulated windows??
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Spencer, our valet, was great. Conversational, but also helpful. I asked if there was a jacuzzi because I love to swim, but it's much better if there's a hot tub as well. He said that there was a sister hotel, The Healdsburg Hotel, that had those accommodations and available to us as well. I called the Healdsburg just to confirm and they said, no problem, and to come on over. Loved that!
Cons: Screen door didn't work well. Needed an adjustment to properly slide. Also, we were asked if we wanted an evening "turn down" service on the beds, which was to include chocolate. That didn't happen, but really not a big deal. Everyone was very friend and warm from the housekeeping staff to the front desk.
10.0 Excellent

6.0 Good
Pros: Clean
Cons: Customers
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property!! Small yet mighty, and very trendy design and great set up of the rooms.
Cons: We loved Hotel Trio! Only downside is that it’s 1 mile from downtown so you either need a car to commute or they give you bikes to use.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a mini apartment!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: very clean and lots of good food and beer around area
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hotel just north of downtown Healdsburg. Rooms and overall facility very clean. Good value for money given that room was a studio with a sitting area/couch and kitchen with eating area. Spacious bathroom. USB chargers at nearly every outlet in room. Six electric car chargers (three are Tesla chargers). Convenient shuttle to downtown - runs every 30min from 10a-10p. Also, nice walking path from hotel to downtown (approximately 1mi walk). Will stay here again.
Cons: Breakfast is typical chain-hotel continental breakfast with typical poor quality/low-dietary-value American comfort foods. This is mitigated by bringing own food and using kitchen in room. Parking lot is adequate, but can be crowded late in the day/evening. Hotel does not protect/cordon-off electric vehicle (EV) charging spots. So, as in the case with my visit, half the EV spots where occupied by non-EV's (and those spots remained blocked overnight).
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great, room was clean, bed was comfortable and even tho the hotel was full we didn’t hear any neighbors or doors slamming. There is a shuttle available to take you downtown if you don’t drive (it’s a bit of a walk otherwise). Room has a kitchenette and there is a room service robot! Love Healdsburg and would stay here again!
Cons: A little pricey but very nice hotel.

9.1 Excellent (284 reviews)

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free valet parking is available onsite.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location in the heart of Healdsburg.
Cons: The shower design is poor with no door so water splashes out. The water pressure is low and the shower head definitely needs to be replaced. The water comes out either too hot or cold. All in all the deficiencies make for an unsatisfactory showering experience. The banging of doors and loud talking in the hallways reverberate because of the concrete material with no carpeting to absorb the sounds. The minimalist design is lacking comfort and luxury which one would expect having to pay for these high room rates.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great, cosy hotel with fantastic service, really lovely room w comfortable beds. Highly recommended.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the breakfast!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room upgrade, what a lovely surprise!
Cons: I had to leave.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great location is awesome great in room amenities
Cons: WiFi service bar/lounge didn't open until 4pm hallways were very loud front desk staff could have been more helpful with general information
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: The Hotel at check in did not say they had problems with hot water. They did say they were doing “construction “ Several days with no hot water seems unacceptable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location and extras like tastings, happy hour, complimentary drinks and snacks in room. Heated pool.
Cons: Front of house staff too casual and not attentive enough to our concerns given the very expensive room rates and standard of the hotel. The serving staff were very helpful in contrast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great, easy check-in, live music on Saturday evening, bar in lobby, central to everything in Downtown Healdsburg

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect for our Wine Country visit. We got a great rate and requested a quiet room. The room was not only quiet, but very comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept on, and the renovated bathroom was awesome. The Shower actually had three shower heads including one rain shower head coming from the ceiling. I have never enjoyed my shower so much. The staff was there to assist with every request from extra pillows to allowing us into the Breakfast Room for some Sweetener for Tea we enjoyed in our room in the Evening. I just love the waffle maker and cappuccino for Breakfast. We will be back for sure!
Cons: There seemed to be limited parking which was not a problem on this trip, but I wonder if they run out of space when they are more fully booked.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Shower was amazing
Cons: A little pricey while in the pandemic but I guess businesses are trying to keep the lights on
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean and convenient location.
Cons: I was given the room across the hall from the breakfast room; was near the lodge entrance; and next to the stairs. It was very noisy!
6.0 Good
Pros: Location Breakfast room
6.0 Good
Pros: The hotel was nice and clean, staff nice.
Cons: Probably the worst tragic noise I’ve ever had in a hotel. All night long cars and trucks accelerated from the corner.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great coffee. Easy access to freeway. Comfy bed, large tv. Not far from town plaza. Check in guy was very nice. Very friendly and enthusiastic about the area- and offered to help us get our luggage up to the 3rd floor!
Cons: Would have liked something warm for breakfast like eggs. Bathroom counter is kind of small for women anyway!
7.0 Good
Pros: Recently remodeled facility. Nice continental breakfast.
Cons: Noisy location and could here lots of noise from next room.
4.0 Okay
Cons: I Didn’t Like That The Person On The Front Desk Kept Bothering Us Of How Many People Were In The Room I Even Told Him Come Inside And Check For Your Self... And He Kept On Bugging Did You Trash My Room. We Left Everything Clean
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well appointed comfortable room.
Cons: Height of the bed above the floor.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: The noise, workers were making Too much noise early Morning
6.8 Good
Pros: Pros: The very friendly staff. The fact that it was no problem to change rooms after my 1st night in a room with a noisy fridge. Aside from the strong smell of mildew/chlorine, the 2nd room seemed quite clean.
Cons: Cons: Very overpowering bleach smell in the bathroom. Strong mildew smell coming from both the window tracks, (visible black mold present), and the air conditioner. Having sensitivities to both these toxins, it was an unpleasant stay. Not to mention the indoor sauna on the 1st floor, also bathing the place in a steamy chlorine/mildew aroma. And they have no elevator - a bothersome feature for one staying on the 3rd floor with EBV, Lyme, and fibromyalgia. It's also across the street from a gas station, at a relatively busy intersection. Whereas the other side of the hotel offered construction site noises, complete with jack-hammering, and an endless stream of beeping trucks, driving in reverse. Wanted to like it, as both of the proprietors seemed to have their hearts in the right place and was always greeted warmly. I, unfortunately, will not be staying here again.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Desk person very nice, felt welcomed. Pool was clean and refreshing, hot tub was nice. Room was clean and updated. Bed was comfortable as well as pillows.
Cons: Had a handicapped person w/us that wished the bathroom had railings.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet. Great location and clean.
Cons: The hot tub had a lot of chemicals in it.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Two things: 1. The desk NOT facing a mirror. Height and configuration OK for use with a laptop. 2. Wall-mounted dispensers for hand soap, lotion, shampoo, etc. -- convenient and reduces waste.
Cons: The walls are a bit thin (I knew exactly what the guy in the next room was doing). There is also a strange and dangerous step right outside the door which looks looks like an ankle injury waiting to happen.
6.0 Good
Pros: affordability was key...
Cons: The guests were really loud and noisy quite late at night (after 12) Not the problem of the hotel itself!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Older property but rooms have been renovated. Bathrooms are older, but I like that the toilet/shower is separate from the sink. Bedding and floors are all new.
Cons: Older bathroom. If they ever do renos again, I would put in a standup shower instead of a tub. There was a light outside our room that stayed on all night. Shades did not block the light. It just made it harder to sleep.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Sheets were threadbare. WiFi did not work and no internet ability
5.0 Okay
Pros: Newly remodeled main guest rooms with updated decor. It was convenient to have a microwave and a large refrigerator in the room. I appreciated being able to stay for one night as they did not have a 2 night minimum which most hotels have during season.
Cons: The bathroom was old, falling apart, rust showing, different light bulbs in each fixture, baseboard falling off and showing where drywall has been wet or falling apart. The bed was very firm, more than I prefer and no extra pillows.

When you stay at Madrona Manor in Healdsburg, you'll be in the historical district, within a 5-minute drive of Healdsburg Plaza and Healdsburg Museum. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good. Simple was not too many choices but good. Much better than pre-paid breakfasts in other places. Highly recommend it.
Cons: I liked that the room did not have a TV but I can see how some people would enjoy having a TV in their room. I think it's great that it didn't to spend more time reading and wandering the beautiful property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: LOCATION IS FANTASTIC, Close to Healdsburg, but out of the sometimes hectic townspace. On the road to the beautiful Dry Creek Valley where there is a wonderful plethora of wineries to choose a visit. The Breakfast was the best I've had at a lodge. Bed was comfortable and the place is grand. You can tell a place is great when the staff is very attentive and seemed happy at their jobs.
Cons: The only little tiny thing we would have preferred is a shower more up to date. Stepping up and over a tube is not as accommodating as a walk in shower. Tubs are great and showers can be also, but the combos are not as elegant as the rest of the place is.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds very comfortable.
Cons: Not as comfortable furniture as we would have liked.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy beds, great breakfast room and meal. Quiet. Amazing location.
Cons: Bummer, construction right outside our room. Thought the carriage house would be roomier and more special but main house might actually have nicer rooms.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved location- everything was great-- wine and cheese in afternoon was a nice bonus
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Small and quaint and located in the best area of Healdsburg!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the available parking spot, the 5 PM wine and cheese event and the access to restaurants on the plaza. Miranda, the manager, was available, friendly and helpful.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Noisy, staff not very knowledgeable about wine tasting, had to find someone to get us breakfast stuff because just scraps left.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was ok but not great. Muffins were dry, food not hot and most of all the coffee did not taste good to me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfasts!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A comfortable small hotel more like a B & B. The location is right on the Square and the breakfast is outstanding.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Reservation policy charged us for lost day due to car problems even though they received 48 hour prior notice. Breakfast was mediocre for expensive venue. Room had choppy layout and awkward. Not worth the price of the room. When we arrived late no room key was available as promised and we had to wait for someone to show up.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location
Cons: The shower was really small and didn’t get hot water; only lukewarm
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast concenient and high quality. Location on the Square is terrific

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable, the area was quiet, Jude made us feel welcome and like we were old friends as did the staff at breakfast. Breakfast was a communal delight with the other guests And the pancakes were delicious!!
Cons: Maybe it might be better if breakfast was served later-like 10am.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I can't say enough about the staff. Wonderful service, especially during a serious time - COVID virus, before the governor ordered the sheltering. I was bringing my daughter home from the airport and her travels - luckily. They were absolutely careful, awesome and understanding. The room was beautiful and relaxing. Thank you!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old historic bed and breakfast. Outside gardens, while we were there in Jan, were still nice. Rooms were perfect for us, bed/pillows were comfy. Everything we needed was available to us. Large front porch for gathering (offered by staff) every eve for wine, cheese and crackers. Freshly made home cooked breakfasts were delicious. Home baked cookies were a plus. Very close walking distance ( ~3 blocks) from downtown with plenty of restaurants, coffee/tea shops, tasting rooms (no need to drive to the wineries) , shops and art galleries. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Had helpful ideas of what to do and where to go. Free wine tastings at all of the owners wineries (I think 11 or so). Some right up the road (~10’drive)and some a short distance away(~45’drive).
Cons: Not much to say here. I guess one thing I could say is we were looking forward to the guided wine tour so we wouldn’t need to drive offered by the B&B, but sadly the staff that did this were on vacation. But there are other options and so many tasting rooms within walking distance, no car needed.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The furnishings were lovely and the breakfast delicious. The Calderwood was within walkable distance to downtown Healdsburg.
Cons: My husband had a difficult time with the bathroom in the Jaxon Keys room, as the ceiling was slanted right over the toilet. Not meant for a tall man.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The Calderwood Inn is a gorgeous place, cosy and intimate. We felt right at home. Room was comfortable, breakfast was great.
Cons: Payment was a bit stressful, since three of our (European) credit cards didn't work. We had no problems with them in other hotels during our travels, before and after our stay at Calderwood Inn. When we mentioned this, we received quite a defensive response, blaming us for the cards not working. Not entirely equipped for international travellers, I guess?

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff Comfortable and elegantly appointed rooms Happy hour Mini bar
Cons: Nothing
4.2 Okay
Pros: The bed and linens were lovely.
Cons: The staff and their service is not at the level I would expect from a hotel at this price point and brand name. As just one example "valet parking" is the staff parking our car on the street and needing to move it in 3 hours because of parking limits.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, room and LOVE the location. All the staff for extremely friendly and helpful.
Cons: Some of the items in the room are showing wear. Also, the continental breakfast was a little weak as the pastries were tiny. I would expect more when they are next to a very well known bakery. Even though there was wine left in the room, they were a little stingy about pen/paper with a note note to take them or you maybe charged...Really? When you are paying north of $600, that just seems a little petty.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Facilities
Cons: Food was not up to level of a Ralais Chateau property.Breakfast was served but was from many pre-packaged and frozen items. Not kitchen fresh. It did not meet our expectations.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lots of good service and extras which we had already paid for.
Cons: Maintenance was poor; had water leak in bathroom and had to move to another room; but they were quick to do so.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and luxurious, from the sheets to the furnishings! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, the level of detail surpassing not only expectations but the usual. Highly recommend this hotel!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We sleep best on these mattress types.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff caters to all needs and the room decor is of exquisite taste. Location in the middle of town within walking distance to all amenities and restaurants can’t be beat
Cons: Are you kidding? Nothing here is not to like!

7.9 Good
Pros: The pool was refreshing and not over crowded. The bed sheets were incredibly soft; and it was within easy walking distance of the downtown.
Cons: The time for check in is very limited. If you are early, you need to wait in the hot summer sun.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, nice pool and spa
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing. We didn't go due to fires. But read the next section to see how we were treated for choosing to stay safe.
Cons: My husband and I were looking forward to visiting Healdsburg, a town we have been to before and love dearly. We stayed in a not great VRBO last time so really wanted to step it up with a beautiful, boutique, close-to-town, amazing-looking hotel. We weren't able to go, but that's not why the bad rating. The morning we were supposed to drive over from Sacramento, we read about the fires that had started. Geyserville and North Healdsburg were already under mandatory evacuations, and the fire was 0% contained. We called the hotel and asked if they knew anything more, if we should even visit. We decided not to proceed. About $2200 later (due to booking a new hotel and new airline tickets because our airline didn't fly in to the new location's airport) we got settled in to a new location (Paso Robles, about 4 hrs south). A couple nights later, we get an email from this operations manager stating that he was not going to approve a refund from the Duchamp because he felt they could have provided the same customer experience promised. He said we should not have believed the media, the winds were going the other way, and our trip could have been fine. So no refund. Despite that we hadn't asked for one, we were offered a credit originally (although he had to approve it). That was an $1800 cost that he was not going to refund any of. $1800 is a lot of money to us, particularly when trying to do the right thing during a natural disaster. The very next day, all of Healdsburg was evacuated. And had we stayed, we would have been part of it. There were lines to drive out of the city. We weren't offered a credit until I challenged the charge on my credit card. It's disappointing on a number of levels. We really wanted to try to go back, it looks amazing, but not if that is how they run their business. We had been right not to go.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property felt like an oasis even though it was just a few minutes walk to the town square. It was peaceful, clean with special attention to details: everything you touched felt great; the bed was a dream, fully stocked bathroom and a warm, personal and welcoming staff. It was the perfect getaway in a setting where simplicity becomes luxury.

Cons: Saw 2 spiders in our room. They weren’t big but my wife was freaked out.
