From the moment we arrived all staff (especially Emma) were really friendly and helpful. The pool and jacuzzi were ideal for relaxing after the journey. We also recommend the food whether breakfast or their evening meals the flavours were so tasty.
The ashtray by the front entrance could be moved just a few feet. Smoke from extinguished cigarette butts is not pleasant.
Relaxed atmosphere. Lounge area very comfortable with great view.
Several areas in bedrooms would have benefitted from a more attentive clean. Carpet was hairy (dog hair?), dusty areas, cobweb on one wall, very dusty & cobwebby around doors of the bungalow rooms. Table lamp bulb had blown & when I advised reception they were unable to replace it before I left 2 days later - it was a normal bulb! Also, I asked for a flannel, these were not available. The room was quite chilly in the evening & I could not switch radiator on.
Hotel is nice, clean rooms and grounds.
Staff were very slack in the restaurant, my food was terrible. At high tear they forgot to bring the TEA. Classic. They need to train staff and have a serious GM.
Nicely decorated and excellent staff. Lovely sitting out on the patio reading and looking out over the golf course
Lovely grounds and location.
Dated room with disjointed decor. Decor needs to be classier.
