Had a big room with 3 queen beds that for our group well. Breakfast was sub par, as usual with most hotels.
The hot tub/heated outdoor pool was so nice after long days of hiking! We had a large group of adults and we rented out the two apartments and a queen room. Everyone was extremely satisfied, and the rooms were very spacious. The location could not have been better, and overall this hotel exceeded my expectations for the cost. Nothing!
Had a very quiet and comfortable stay. The rooms were spacious, very clean and everything in the room was in excellent working order. The breakfast was in a large dining area. The staff was very good at refilling all containers to keep up with the rush time. The area itself was kept very clean and tables were made available for new seating immediately in spite of a large number of young kids doing what they normally do with food. The bathrooms were clean and updated and the water stayed hot for long showers especially after a long day of hiking. The rooms were very quiet in spite of being next to a highway. A very short drive to the center of Moab. They provide a shuttle to and fro to the city center for dining etc. if you don't want to drive. The food containers need to be changed so they can keep the food warm. But there is a microwave available in the breakfast area to warm anything to your liking.
Nice place, friendly staff, clean, quite and comfortable place, none
Comfortable rooms, friendly, helpful staff, CLEAN, delicious breakfast. No complaints
This hotel is closed to the Arches park. We visited it in November. The hotel was nicely decorated and they had a jumping house for kids (which is great after traveling a big distance by car with kids.
Had had a wonderful time, stopped here on a road trip and stayed an extra 2 nights. Only booked one night though kayak but the they gave us the same discount for the next two nights at the desk. Comfy room, nice beds and pillows, complete with those wonderful cylinder pillows. Free buffet breakfast is quite substantial and the chef is very friendly and attendent. Nice hot tub.
Location The bed and sheet's smelled bad.... Thin walls, we could hear people stomping all night...
We did stay. Saw another departing guest with massive bites over entire body due to bedbugs. Manager was kind enough to authorize a refund. We cacelled the rest of our plans and teturned home.
Clean and comfortable. Staff came to clean room before we were awake (at 9am). Extra charge showed up on credit card after we left with no explanation.
Room were modern , clean Breakfast is a joke
Clean newly renovated room. Big fridge. Good value.
Upgraded us to a suite due to water leak in original room Stain on sheet on bed
I have worked in the hospitality industry most of my life. This hotel was clean, comfy and affordable!
Room was clean and made up well by the staff while we were out. N/a
We have stayed at Super 8 many times. Sine the hotel is on the north side of town, it is close to the parks and easy to find. Breakfast is Eggo's and cereal, but it's breakfast. During this stay I was surprised by the cleanliness of our room. Tissue on the floor, coffee in the coffee pot, food in the refrigerator, hair on the floor and a stain on the bead spread. I hope this was an oversight and not a trend.
I had a good room, king sized bed. There was lots of storage in the room with a dresser, closet and such. A mini fridge was nice and there were hardwood floors in the unit. Along with a small desk and seating area. The only complaint would be the king sized bed. It felt as though I was sleeping on the floor with a few blankets for cushions. Very, very hard for me but that my be a personal preference.
the location was convenient. The rooms were updated The staff were not friendly or helpful. They bordered on rude. The breakfast wasn't great, and there wasn't adequate space. The rooms were updated, but very crowded.
The room was newly redone and nice, very contemporary. My only complaint is the breakfast bar. The set-up could not handle that many people. We took our food to our room, as did others. The last day there, we did not visit the breakfast bar at all. it would be nice if pool towels were at a self-serve location rather than having to wait in line at the front desk behind people checking in. Great stay. Nice rooms, comfy beds, good price, good breakfast. Honestly, the absolute only negative was the towels were pretty rough, but not a big deal.
Everything about this hotel was very good - no complaints. We arrived an hour or so early - our room wasn't ready but the duty manager managed to find us that was - much appreciated.
Great beds... Very little sound insulation...
Location convenient to downtown Moab. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Biking and hiking trails start out the door. Clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, great breakfast.
Clean, location, great breakfast Combative front desk on a personal call. Guests waiting to check prices/ check in.
Convenient to the National Parks and good food.
Everyone was friendly and the location was great. Hotel is old and creaky -- if you're on the bottom floor, you'll be awake all night from people walking above you. Cleaning staff left towels & other items in our room.
The location was fantastic, right in the heart of town. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only negative thing about our stay were the dead small cockroaches on the bathroom floor.
The hotel staff was friendly, our room was clean, the breakfast was great. We will stay here again.
Bill the guy at the front desk was awesome, also the guys doing the free breakfast every morning we're great! A better quality hot tub would have helped my aching muscles after running a marathon!
Great breakfast Nothing
We very much enjoyed our stay.
Everything is fine A little expensive
No pet fee! Found multiple hairs in my bed upon arrival. Mirror had kiss marks on it. Needs extra attention to detail when cleaning. Other than that, room was clean.
The staff was extremely polite and professional. Room was great as was location. We would definitely stay here again. Bar/restaurant right on location that offered love music which was a great plus!
Not able to use pool and was not made aware of this in reservation or at check in.
Spacious room and good wifi. The desk clerk didn't have a personable attitude
Everything Pool was closed also expected little more upscale breakfast than frozen bagels and similar
Pet friendly, clean, and friendly staff! Really nice facilities. It was a great place to stay and a great value compared to nearby hotels we looked into.
The rooms were very nice and the hotel was close to local attractions and dining. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable.
Value is here. Location is here. Quality is here. Free real breakfast, a real mini fridge. A nice hot tub for people to enjoy a private conversation.
The style of the building; cookies; candy; pool; people, breakfast; rooms; location. Everything pretty much. The mattresses were very uncomfortable.
Very well run hotel with excellent staff. Lovely experience.
Highly recommend for any stay in Moab. First rate accommodations and staff!
Beautiful view!!! The food at the restaurant was amazing. We ate supper there every night and it was super! We had the same waitress each night and she was wonderful!! The lodge was about 14 miles from Moab but the scenic highway to town was beautiful. The Castle Creek Winery next door was very good as well. Everyone was very nice during our stay and treated us like family! Wonderful experience, would definitely go there again! We loved everything about it!
Nestled along the river and the cliffs this hotel has stunning natural beauty around it. The staff were all excellent and friendly, and the food was also quite good. If there is one thing I would caution about it is that the sound insulation between rooms might be insufficient for some people. It was not a problem for us, but there was a dog one or two rooms over that had a high pitched bark that seemed to cut through the log walls rather easily.
Beautiful setting, comfortable cabins, very good food and great staff! We arrived to Red Cliffs Lodg well after 8pm on a chilly December night. We got a very good dinner, and our cabin was waiting warm and cozy. We woke up to amazing views of Colorado river and an excellent buffet breakfast with a fantastic view over the river. Only stayed there one night (visiting Arches) so in the morning we made our way back towards Moab, enjoying the scenic ride thru the canyon of the Colorado. This place is well worth the drive from Moab. I would definitely stay there again!
Quiet, clean and comfortable. Toillet did not work very well and microwave did not work.
Location, pool, huge beds Wifi didn't work
There was nothing outstanding about the place... But it's Moab. We were able to use their ice machine all weekend and ice up before we hit the trail. I thought that when I booked it, it said breakfast included, but was just given a $5 voucher for the place next door. Not worth the $ but still probably better than anywhere else.. So I'm not complaining
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Everything else was a huge waste of money. There was hair in the bathtub, the beds are very uncomfortable, and the heat/ A/C unit is incredibly loud. My husband and I did not sleep well at all. The full-sized beds are teeny.
Very convenient to down town shopping, restaurants, and walking distance to most shops.
Within walking distance to several shops and restaurant's . The room was very clean and looked freshly remodeled. The parking was a bit overcrowded and no complimentary breakfast which you usually get at this price point.
Wonderful stay, great showers, dual head.... That's all I got to say. Best shower I've encountered.. Also close to breakfast/pancake place! My fav...
Good location, new renovations are great! Bathroom smelled a bit mildewy.
Newer looking, nice design, looked clean initially various spots of mold on bathroom ceilings terrible manager that blamed us and did not refund us for the ceiling that collapsed and leaked into the bath.
Super friendly staff in a great location! Very clean and comfortable!
The rooms are clean, reasonably priced, and have the few extras I want (fridge, microwave, modern TV). The extra $10 for a balcony is nice, especially if you can get one with a good view.
Large clean rooms and reasonable rates. Friendly helpful staff. Hotel is close to all of the shopping and dining in Moab. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Great Valentine's Day weekend. Hotel was a gem in a sea of giant box motels. Funky design of the room was a plus. Staff was friendly and helpful. This town has never been known for its accommodations, so this place is a seriously good addition. I'll stay here again. Disclaimer, was the off season so the lack of breakfast and pool was understandable. Allowed us to find the Eclectic Cafe which I recommend highly.
I liked the atmosphere and the large rooms. I also liked the fact that we had a choice to not have the sheets and towels changed on a daily basis. The walls are pretty thin, we could most everything going on in the rooms around us, out in the hall and outside by the pool.
Everything. Cool hotel and good people. Loved it.
Window seat and ability to open window--great for reading. Room was being cleaned before 11:00 checkout--we couldn't use room. One of few (only?) hotels without a free breakfast. Free coffee was unpalatable--styrofoam cups, powdered milk, dark dreary coffee area. Pool looked dirty--pool furniture had filthy, torn cushions--absolutely gross.
Clean, basic rooms, comfortable bed, quiet. Front desk staff did not seem to have a good handle on check-in, took 30 min to get in our rooms with confirmed reservation.
River Canyon Lodge is a great place to stay. Everything about it was adequate for our needs: clean, comfortable, quiet, good location, ample space in parking lot for our truck and trailer, friendly management. We will definitely stay here again.
Clean and in a good location. Perhaps the smallest room I've ever stayed in (in the USA at least).
Just off Main, so a bit quieter than most of the others. Tiny, cramped room, nothing on the walls, "don't care" lobby staff. It's one of those places that simply offers a place to sleep for unreasonable prices. Next time, it's the Apache Motel for us.
Off Main Street a bit. Overpriced tiny room with no amenities. Indifferent staff. Go to someplace like the Apache to get off the main drag. This place isn't a dump, but it doesn't have anything going for it.
Clean, decent, accessible; has coffee ready in the morning
Proximity to downtown Rooms are very small
The parking and room access were very good. Room was too small.
Great place to stay near Arches National Park. Room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was included and early enough (6 am) for us to get out and on our way for the day. Highly recommended. Free wifi seemed a bit slow.
good rooms very poor service atitude and extremely poor (fake eggs) breakfast food (definitely not worth the experience)
If wa a very nice and clean and luxury hotel, I liked the approach of staff and appreciated their service. The location of the hotel is rather "off" the centra of Moab (if we can speak about a centre at all)
Outstanding hotel. Staff was very helpful, rooms were clean spacious and luxurious, Breakfast was excellent. Bisquits and gravy yummy. Missed Fox news nothing
the hotel was in a great location Very noisy. We were able to hear people in the rooms beside and and above us.
Comfy bed and good laundry facilities and great breakfast included in the price.
The hotel is very stylish, so are the rooms. Very clean. Free breakfast was very good, coffee/hot chocolate/tea was always available, pool was not bad The member of the staff that checked us in was very rude. He first couldn't find our reservation made on booking.com and sent us away (!) (without making any efforts of research) to get a Hilton confirmation number (which I fortunately had on my I-phone). When we got back (after 1 minute) he was already serving other customers (which took him a long long time and he offered them a huge discount just because he knew someone who lived in their home town), when we arrived for the second time at the counter he told us the hotel had inversed my name and surname and he merely excused himself and didn't offer the discount. The rest of the staff was friendly. There are only 2 washing machines for the entire hotel, which isn't enough at all.
The room, the staff and facilities are gorgeois. The hotel in general looks as new.and contemporary.
The room was very clean and spacious. There was a pullout bed in addition to the two queens, which meant our two kids each got their own bed. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. There was a free breakfast. We didn't have any complaints. Everything was very nice. The breakfast room was very crowded and we had to wait for more of some foods to be cooked. There was no where to sit. If we had gotten up earlier maybe it wouldn't have been a problem. It was a vacation weekend.
Room was very nice. Appreciated the fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc. The continental breakfast was much better than I expected, offering scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, oatmeal, fresh fruit, several serials, milk, skim milk, juice, etc. Parking was ample. A minor quibble: I don't drink coffee, but my wife does. She told me that the coffee provided (in the room and with the free breakfast) was terrible. She wouldn't drink it, which told me it must be BAD. Solved this by running to City Market and buying some ground Starbucks and coffee filters.
Price is right. It is pretty worn down and smells like a college dorm.
Nothing I booked this on kayak based on the 3 stars and the price. I don't know how it's a 3. It's old which is fine but the room was very dirty. There was food on the floor and random hairs all over the place. After a day of hiking I was too tired to move rooms. I just showered, and slept in my clothes for the next day. It was gross.
We had a relatively spacious room that was clean and up to date. We were especially pleased with the very large breakfast room. There were several waffle makers, which meant no lines. We arrived at a busy time but there was more than ample seating. We've stayed at other properties in Moab that were smaller, had poor lighting in the room, and didn't offer a free breakfast. The pool was very inviting, but much to my kids' disappointment, we didn't have time for a swim. Will definitely consider staying here the next time we're in Moab.
We usually camp in Moab, but due to the season (late-March), we decided to get a hotel room since the weather might not cooperate. The Moab Valley Inn served us nicely since the Temps were on the cooler side and the rain didn't stay away. The rooms were clean and updated -- they didn't match the dated exterior or breakfast room decor. Every staff member I interacted with was very hospitable and provided excellent service. The only negative thing about our stay was our room location. We were right next to the lobby so had a lot if other guests going by our room, which was also near an exterior door. Also, while breakfast was included, keep in mind that it's limited to mostly carbs (cereals, waffles, breads) and drinks (coffee, tea, juice and milk); the protein options were limited. This isn't necessarily a negative, but if you're looking for bacon, sausage or hot eggs, you won't find them here. That being said, I would definitely stay here again.
Breakfast only so so. Coffee very weak. Lack of egg choices (only hard boiled).
This hotel is clean and easily accessible. The staff is always friendly and open for questions whenever. This is a great place to stay when one is in the Moab valley! This is a great hotel with which I have no quarrel.
large rooms, good location, decent breakfast, friendly front desk staff
Location was excellent for downtown Moab activities. Near mountain biking shuttles and shops. Great for a shower and good sleep. Continental breakfast was very basic.
This Inn is located right in town. White linens. Clean. Walking distance to several restaurants. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was plentiful. Check in and check out a breeze. Would stay again. Nothing
We were able to get a room here recently for the Canyonlands Half Marathon after Kayak messed up our reservation. The staff was fairly accommodating with our needs. Kayak booked the room at a much lower rate which the hotel would not honor. Due to the fact that there was an event that weekend, there were no other rooms available so we had to pay the higher rate. I was very disappointed that the hotel wouldn't honor the original rate which was agreed upon. In my opinion, that was bad business on their part, but I was just happy to have a place to sleep before the race.
Air-conditioning worked excellent. The room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable Breakfast could have been better.
Great location in Moab, low cost, place to wash bikes, laundry room Very small rooms, could hear things in the hall, uncomfortable bed, hot tub not available until after 10 am.
Location and value Room was small but very clean
The location was fair but the unobliging staff spoiled the experience. When I was booking this room I noticed they displayed an option for "a double room". Assuming this actually meant what it said and was some kind of suite with two rooms, I increased my price and purchased the double room, believing this would accommodate our need for privacy among three adults. When we arrived late in the evening we were informed by the staff that "a double room" only in fact meant a VERY small single room with two beds. They made no effort to rectify their error or compensate for our predicament. It was a great disappointment.
Great location in the town Moab, within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Close to 2 great National Parks, many other parks, activities and trail systems. Parking fills up fast, especially in the evening.
They had everything, even the kitchen sink, (excepting a stove/oven) in this place! Fantastic accommodations for anyone staying for long periods of time. The room was a little cramped with all the furniture.
The hotel was clean. The rooms were small but adequate. The staff really tried hard but I suspect their hands were tied by there administration. No breakfast. The key code on the door dodn.r work and it took three days to fix it. The hotel staff was very helpful in booking trips but they apparently didn't know the details of the trip. We booked a trip through "Adrift Adventures" - Awesome. But the hotel didn't even know lunch was included in the trip. So we went to a local restaurant before the trip and spent $30.00 for a brunch which was already paid for. Real cost out of pocket! Time for education with vendor!!!
Although smiling, staff really didn’t care and was not helpful or accommodating.
Beautiful Location, friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean The property was beautiful but when I pay almost $----- a night I expect the resort to be staffed properly. Upon check in no help with bags. Dinner the restaurant had one waiter so long wait. No towels by the pool. One bar tender covering too much area et
We were there for only one night, but it was a great location, the restaurant was great, and the young lady who checked us in was really nice and helpful. Would have loved to stay there longer if it were a different kind of trip. Nothing
Friendly staff. Room was clean. I chose Big Horn Lodge because of its location and because there are parking slots for vehicles that are towing trailers. Unfortunately, there are no rules for use of those slots and they were occupied by vehicles not towing trailers. As a result, I had to park in an awkward location and had to check on my vehicle during the course of the night.
Great staff, nice clean large room. No shampoo
Great for sleeping. Bed was comfortable, room and bed were clean, bathroom was clean, floors are hardwood, lots to offer on tv. Wi-Fi connection is terrible, parking accommodations can be difficult when lot is full with trailers, unfortunately no microwave or mini fridge.
The place is clean and the staff is friendly and professional. The bed and pillows are incredibly uncomfortable. The walls and floors are paper thin and they've replaced their floors with pergo. Every time anyone adjacent to you walks on their floor, uses their bathroom, enters/leaves their room, you will know about it. The TV remote also needs to be held relatively level with the sensor on the TV. This means you have to hold the remote high over your head while in bed to get the TV to work. Both of our rooms had all the same issues I've listed.
It is not a common occurrence to find a cheap and clean room to stay in. Motel 6 Moab was definitely above my expectations for how cheap it is. It cost about half what the other hotels did and was very clean, quiet and close to Arches Park and the Sand Flats Recreation Area. The bed was about a 5/10, definitely not great, but did the job. Other than the Bed, I can't really complain about anything else.
Exceptional staff, cleanliness, and proximity to national parks. Room was very small, not much space for two people and luggage. Ok for a couple nights; I'd suggest elsewhere for extended stays.
The cost was quite low off season, the staff very helpful when door key wouldn't work. Great heater. Bed felt terrible, sheets were itchy, shower head had poor pressure and odd spray pattern. No outlet near the bedside table.
Thousands of hi-fives for Krystal and her team who made her stay in Moab really relaxing and welcoming and helped us greatly to recover a forgotten purse and fedexed it to our next destination. Quiet motel in scenic cool city is all we appreciated on this wonderful trip.
The rooms were clean and had a striking interior design. Internet worked and the beds were comfy. I couldn't find one recycling bin in the entire state of Utah, this motel included. :( the car was full of empty energy drink cans ...
It had a bed and a shower. We unloaded the car and used a cart. When I returned the cart I took the elevator. I got stuck in the elevator. The emergency phone must have connected to the police(FD) dispatcher. That line dropped out 3 times before I found the front desk number on my phone. I called the front desk and asked them to reset the controls. That worked and I got off the elevator. Once I got to first floor the manager got on and started looking at the control pad like I had pushed "1" the wrong way. Never said sorry, never asked how long, nothing. I took the stairs back up to the room, took a shower, pulled back the sheets and found pubic hair and sand. They hadn't changed the sheets from the last person. They sent up a young kid with sheets. Once again, nothing said by the manager. I have never given a bad review before. They deserve this one.
The competitive price Cleanliness
pet friendly and close to all the attractions.
