Visitors to Bunaken will find that the Siladen Resort & Spa is a fantastic accommodation choice. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. A pickup service can be arranged for guests upon request. According to our trusted guests, the facilities at this hotel are first-rate.
Pros: The diving center is fantastic. The staff are very nice and friendly. The area is very quiet and beautiful. Will definitely come back!
Pros: The staffs at Siladen were wonderful, they took care of the guests very well. The meals here were delicious, they have different dishes everyday. I took open water and advanced open water diving courses here, my instructor Teddy was very helpful, patient, and professional. I am glad that I chose to learn diving at Siladen. The experience at Siladen was unforgettable, I’ll miss the beautiful sunset at the beach, and I would come back for sure.
Pros: very good weather during my stay. excellent location for the diving. and like the sea water swimming pool. good food.
Cons: TV in my room is very old. The airport pick up car is in good condition, but drop off car is with very pool air conditionner.
Pros: The location, on the beach with a view of islands and volcanoes. The food was excellent, the management, staff and fellow guests all welcoming and good company.
Pros: Everything is perfect
Pros: It’s a beautifull island as far as it’s the resort, the outside snorkeling spot is beautiful for snorkeling but quite dirty beach. Staff is very friendly
Cons: From a non divers perspective I wouldn’t recommend to go, although nice it’s way to overpriced and except for hanging around the beach and pool not much to do. To be fair, my wife loves the place, but she is a diver, and loved the dives she had, and the professional staff. So don’t go as for a tropical paradise, there are way more nicer places around the world/Indonesia that suits this for better prices, as a diver go!
Pros: This is top drawer resort with superlative service from the moment you arrive to when you leave. I really can't fault anything from the food, to the beach, to the staff or the rooms. We had a beach front villa which is definitely worth the extra
Cons: It's not cheap - but you get what you pay for
Pros: Outstanding dolphin and snorkeling activity! also they have an incredibly beach views from the rooms
Cons: Not highly recommended for a beach day, the sand of the island is very tick
Located in Manado (Manado City Centre), S Loft Manado is within a 5-minute drive of Manado Town Square and Mega Mall. Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free valet parking is available onsite.
Pros: I like the room
Pros: We aren't really into Indonesian breakfast so fruit, toast and coffee and an omelet was a nice option. The king size bed was very comfortable. This was our second stay at this hotel. The first night was very noisy as we were across from all the AC units and the road traffic. I asked for another room this time and they were accommodating. There is a nice fish restaurant down the street a little and the food at the restaurant was good too. It is easy to catch a blue bus to the main square.
Cons: The payment process was difficult the 2nd time. It did not accept my card as it did previously. BNI did not like BCA today.
Pros: Front desk was super friendly. Asked for upgrade and was given an option at a very fair price. Breakfast was great.
Cons: nothing that i can think of
Pros: Professional staff. They prepare a lunch box if you have an early flight. Nicely decorated.
Pros: Very nice modern rooms, comfy. Well presented communal and lobby area, friendly efficient staff. Would definitely stay again
Pros: The front desk was super helpful and friendly, even helping us book a spot at a nearby massage place (thank you Fitri). All in all, S Loft was an amazing hotel and I'll definitely stay here again when I'm next in Manado. The breakfast spread was great too and the design/decor of the room was delightful! I really appreciated that they did not give out plastic bottles of water but instead had a glass bottle of water and also encouraged guests to refill their bottles! Kudos to that! The front of the hotel also had an amazing colourful mural with a tarsier and a turtle, loved it! The lobby area has a small souvenir shop and they sell postcards with stamps (a rare find!), and other cool trinkets.
Cons: Nothing, absolutely loved this hotel! Although, there isn't much around the vicinity of the hotel by way of cafes/shops. There is one noodle place opposite but most of the restaurants/malls/sights are a 10-min taxi ride away. Easy peasy!
Pros: The place was incredibly clean and the staff were very helpful. You are always greeted with a smile. The rooms are also quiet, which is tough in Manado as there is always plenty of traffic.
Cons: I had an issue with air conditioning on my first night, but they were quick to rectify it by changing my room. The breakfast was nice and more traditional Indonesian, however, there wasn't much variety. What they had was very nice though.
With a stay at Swiss-Belhotel Maleosan Manado, you'll be centrally located in Manado, just a 4-minute walk from Ban Hin Kiong and 9 minutes by foot from Kalimas Harbor. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A shuttle from the hotel to the airport is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Staff (receptiont and room service) are nice and polite. The hotel isn't new but it's very convenient, location and cleanliness wise.
Pros: I have stayed at several hotels around SE Asia, while Swissbel Manado is not the best I have ever experienced, it is great compared to Indonesia hotel standards. However, it is pricey. I stayed in the Deluxe room - with taxes and fees about $74 per night. The food is quite pricey as well. However, since the rooms have a fridge and a kettle, you can always grab snacks, drinks, and noodles from the market across the street. But the food they have IS tasty and you should splurge on it. The breakfast was delicious and had many options: pastries, fruit, cereal, Indonesian dishes, salad, eggs, fresh bread, and a large variety of juices. And everything I ate was delicious. The pool was rather nice, when children were not playing in it (as with all pools) and they will bring food/drinks to you while you relax. I also got an Ayurvedic massage and it was amazing. The staff is also helpful, and found a place for me to buy certain research supplies in town. The wifi is good (I was on the 7th floor - each room has it's own dedicated router), but not Netflix good. It takes about 3 times as long to stream anything online. This is not a bad mark on the hotel - I didn't expect anything other that this situation. However, i know that some people are curious how good the wifi is.
Cons: I would suggest you not buy pastries from the Swiss Cafe in the Lobby. I bought a cake and it was definitely not fresh. I was told they had been made the night before, however considering the cakes were all in the same spot from three days prior, that comment is suspect. BUT - they felt so bad that they later brought me 3 slices of cake to my room, all of which were fresh. So at some point the cakes here are good and are fresh. Also, as others have said, only a few staff speak English, but this is not the fault of the hotel. You are in a remote part of Indonesia and it is difficult to find people who know the language. Yes, it would be nice if we could communicate more effectively, but for the most part I got along just fine with my broken Bahasa.
Pros: Friendly environment
Cons: Lack of signage that show where to where inside the hotel
Pros: Feels like home
Cons: little bit crowd on the aisle when I was try to get sleep
With a stay at Sintesa Peninsula Hotel Manado in Manado (Manado City Centre), you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Ban Hin Kiong and Kalimas Harbor. This hotel has facilities measuring 25447 square feet (2365 square meters), including a conference center. Pros: The room and the bathroom is spacious. They use reusable container for mineral water. They have working table and balcony. The staff is very friendly and welcome when I want to change my room on the secod night. In my opinion, this hotel can keep their historical vibe and become famous. But, they need to replaced all of their old facilities.
Cons: The hygiene, this hotel is an old hotel and the carpet in my room smells really bad.. and the carpet look really old and need to be replaced.
Pros: 1. Proximity to the Manado Boulevard, the city center 2. Big sized room 3. Pleasing staff with a helping attitude
Pros: Overall, the ambience was great.
Cons: The place seemed a little old and in need of maintenance or modernising in some areas.
Pros: Good place for transit stop. 99,9% of clients are local or from PRC. Good breakfast with variety of dishes.
Pros: Finally they put a refillable pitch with water and no more plastic bottles! Really appreciate this!
Pros: Great location.
Located in Manado, Manado Quality is minutes from Ban Hin Kiong and I.R Soekarno Bridge. This hotel is within close proximity of Mega Mall and Manado Town Square.Business, Other Amenities Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: All the staff are super friendly. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Good location. Breakfast was great. We had few room service and dinner at the lounge and everything was perfect.
Pros: goodplace for transit. good breakfast. several trading centers and seafood coast restaurants are near location. hairdry in room by request. during a day no one european face seen inside.
Pros: The staff is so friendly. The food is delicious. Very good.
Cons: Wi-fi condition is no good.
Pros: Bad experience . Left inmediately the next day due to lack of understanding and lack of service from the hotel duty manager. Restaurant manager was excellent and did help us and did understand our complaints, but it was too late to get convidence in the hotel . Breakfast great choice . Very nice and helpfull personell in restaurant.
Cons: This is not a hotel for western guests. Hotel personell has no idea what kind of service or standard is expected. Hotel info and pictures not acc. our real life experience. We got extreme smelly smoking room. Curtains are too short .Bright sunlight came direct into the room . View was not sea or city. There was a big building beside the room. Old furniture, extremely smelly . Hairdryer in bathroom rust, dirty and micky mouse elec.connection.
Pros: The bed and pillows are comfy and the location is central
Pros: No like
Cons: They wanted to charge period of my girlfriend,
Pros: Staff is very good service.
Pros: very nice...staff. (No.1, In Manado)
Cons: Internet(wifi) condition is no good.
Pros: good break fast, great staff
Cons: ac and climate in the room really bad
With a stay at Grand Luley Manado in Manado, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Ban Hin Kiong and I.R Soekarno Bridge. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: I booked one room with swimming pool view, 2 room with gardenview, and the resort give me 3 rooms in the Siladen Wing. For the swimming pool room is 212, but all I can see is grass and trees. The resort offer to change my room to 3rd floor, on the top of other gardenview room. So, there is no difference between swimming pool view and gardenview, if the resort gives you a room in Siladen Wing. The swimming pool is close to Bunaken Wing, but the resort told me IF I WANT TO STAY IN BUNAKEN WING, I CAN ONLY HAVE ONE NIGHT. It is such a huge joke, I booked a swimming pool virw room but stay in the farest room to the pool. The day before I checkout, I asked reception for delay my checkout, due to the morning diving cant be back before checkout time 12:00, and the reception said yes to checkout before14:00. I asked more than 3 times to make sure. But next day, when I checkout, the same reception told me she never agreed with me of delaying checkout. So, IF YOU WANT TO DISCUSS ANYTHING WHIT RESORT, MAKE SURE THROUGH EMAIL.
Pros: Everything is perfect.... Location,food,places... All is good
Cons: Tidak ada
Pros: Food, a big tall's tree
Cons: We need to wait at the receptiont for an a hour, because the reservation didn't received by hotel management yet, so we need to wait till an a hour for the hotels receive the reservation.. We can't choose the hotel rooms, so we've got room in the middle of forest behind the resort.. Its so far away from anywhere.. Event going to the lobby The hanger in the bath room is event broke It feels like u people really under estimated us because we buy'ing it from promo..
Pros: The staff were amazing! Very helpful and friendly.
Cons: The 45 minute snorkelling trip was 360k per person- ludicrously expensive. The location was not far from town but with the roads took too long. We would stay closer to town next time.
Pros: The staff was kind. The breakfast had good quality food. Good coffee and fruits. The pool was amazing and had a super relax vibe. Also the location looked amazing and serene.
Cons: The toilet was not clean. But maybe the room they gave us wasn't used in a while. The bedsheets were not spotless. The lights in the bathroom didn't work and the price of drinks were unusual high.
Pros: The location of this hotel is amazing, surrounded by a beautiful garden and mangrove. You can walk on the long jetty and watch the sunset. Breakfast was really good. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. I loved the good sunbeds and the nice hamacs around the pool.
Cons: Nothing I didn't like about this property.
Pros: Jetty walk through the mangroves. Airport pickup.
Cons: Minutes within entering our room we saw a full-grown cockroach in the bathroom. Given that we are in the tropics, we thought it was just a one off. However, a few minutes later, another cockroach was hanging by the side of the bed. We found dozens of these roaches coming out of a wooden panel in the bathroom, right behind the main entrance wall where the key cards and all the light switches are located. They were apparently living and hatching in this area. I’ve never seen so many roaches in my life until that evening. After seeing this, we called the front desk to tell them that we were not staying in the room. We carried our bags outside the room, left it on the road for them to be picked up, then walked back up to the front desk. Thankfully, they showed us different rooms (on the opposite area from the first room) for us to choose for 1 night. We told the shift manager then that we would be checking out the next day and that we will be canceling the rest of our reservation. At 9 am the next morning a housekeeping man came to our door. He apologized and asked if we would reconsider leaving the hotel and stay the rest of the 2 nights as it was originally booked. He also said he would give us "free laundry service and lunch". He said he was “very sorry that there were cockroaches” and that he was going to “clean the whole area”. When we were checking out, the head manager came to us and apologized again. The damage was already done. This room and this hotel was not properly cleaned or maintained. On another note the swimming pool was full at night of people that were unable to swim using the emergency flotation rings. I also nearly broke my toe on a metal hammock frame that was in the main pool walkway. At first I thought it was a clumsy mistake but when I saw 3 more people stub their toe in the exact same spot I realized they should have moved the hammock.
Pros: I have stayed here before at this time of the year. It is a very peaceful hotel for the majority of the time. The dive centre was well run and we did a few nice dives on Bunaken and a few close to the hotel. The food is not amazing BUT is what I would expect from this sort of hotel.
Cons: It is quite remote and the restaurant was not exceptional so if you want anything different to eat its quite a way to Manado, but I knew this already so not really a problem.
Pros: It’s ok, as a start base for Bunaken, but don’t stay or dive here as your main stay.
Cons: Worst diving school ever, no safety stop, no balloon, no checking of equipment, no interest in divers while diving, don’t dive its dangerous. Although reported, no response at all. Tried to charge my creditcard 2 times.
Offering a year-round outdoor pool and a private beach area, Kuda Laut Boutique Dive Resort is set in Siladen Island in the Bunaken Islands, North Sulawesi Region. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. All units feature a seating area for your convenience. All rooms include views of the sea or garden. Guests enjoy a private bathroom fitted with a rain shower. Kuda Laut Boutique Dive Resort features free WiFi throughout the property. There is room service, a tour desk and gift shop at the property. The roof terrace offers an amazing view to the sea and mainland Sulawesi. The property has a spa centre. You can play billiards at this resort, and the area has a house reef for snorkelling. Sam Ratulangi Airport is 16 km from the property.
Pros: The room was very dusty (probably due to the sandy location).
Cons: Woke up the first morning to a cockroach in the room.
Pros: Beautiful cabin on the beach, with an amazing sunrise view. Didn't realise it was a full board included resort, and only found out when I arrived, so I ate far too much really good food. Buffet breakfast, and then three (really tasty) courses from a menu selection for both lunch and dinner... Diving was fantastic, with a great team of people in the dive centre there. You have the option of up to four dives a day (fourth is a night dive), leaving the resort by boat, so a few steps from your room. Diving mostly on coral walls, with hundreds of green turtles, reef sharks, eagle rays, sea horses etc. Had a great dive guide (Derek) and saw some amazing underwater scenery and life. Very memorable. Really, really quiet. Your own private, tropical paradise. Transfers by boat between the airport and the resort, what a way to feel special.
Cons: Wanted to stay longer. I guess if you're not diving and don't like snorkelling or lying around near a beach / in a hammock, you might find it a bit claustrophobic, as Siladen is a tiny island with not much else on it, but surely that's why you go there.
Pros: Location and the pool table.
Cons: Stayed in a "superior" room; Very noisy - can hear EVERYTHING you neighbour does. Toilet stinks - may be issues with sewage system. Sand in the beds. We did not have cold water or ac - told reception but nothing change. So went back n demanded actions until something is done. Not great.
Pros: Such gracious hosts (from the dive crew to the kitchen and service staff) - they make you feel at home! Great food (tons of fresh fruit and salad) as well as Indonesian / western choices Pretty good wifi signal Warm water after each dive :)) Great reef to snorkel right outside the resort
Cons: I can't think of any.
Pros: Beautiful location with incredible snorkelling right off the beach!
Cons: Quite noisy at night (the village chicken start at 4am...)
Pros: Room was excellent.
Cons: Time between meals should be shorter.
Pros: The crew of dive center especially the instructor mr.Jimbris and the dive guide mr.Theodorus, the hospitality was excellent, and the staffs are very polite and friendly
Located in the coastal area that offers a beautiful white sandy beach, Mercure Manado Tateli Resort and Convention is truly a unique place to host meeting, incentive, convention, and exhibition (MICE). Facing the Pacific Ocean and famous Bunaken Island, the resort offers you a Convention Center that can accommodate up to 1500 guests for your business-leisure events. Get relaxed and enjoy our large swimming pool, as well as great water sports and outdoor activities.
Pros: we liked the swimming pool and the big room. Super friendly staff smiling and very polite.
Cons: the hotel was not able to provide snorkeling trip beacause there were a big group of chinese people. so we did it with the murex resor. Breakfast more suitable for chinese people. The shuttle to the mall only 2 times a day. Need to improve the food at the restaurant.
Pros: we got a renovated room which was nice. good pool. staff was very nice especially the guy who organized us a transport in the night to the airport. if you have an early flight in the morning better organize a taxi or another transport. we tried with grab, taxi but nothing was available so an employee of the hotel brought us. and it was a saturday morning.
Cons: the toilets in the pool area were not cleaned/working. the standard is not as high as in other Mercure hotels but I dind‘t mind.
Pros: Accor hotels have made their mark on this place: Hotel has been recently renovated - our room looked fresh and tastefully decorated. Internet works well. Staff are well-trained, very friendly and speak good english Very large free-form pool with helpful, friendly pool attendants. Resort is spacious and does not feel congested even at high occupancy.
Cons: Getting a taxi or a Grab car can take a while sometimes. Hotel transport often not available. Breakfast buffet designed for Chinese tourists, who are in the majority. May not always meet expectations of western tourists.
Pros: - The hotel was plastic conscious and had various water dispensers to refill a reusable water bottle. This is great! - The staff were superb and responded well to feedback (eg they asked if we wanted anything on the first morning and later that day they had added a table and chairs to our balcony as requested) - There were better vegetarian options at this hotel than other hotels we've stayed at in Indonesia - The room was fine
Cons: - The hotel could do with a renovation in a few places. For example the tennis court, and some other facilities, were no longer usable due to disrepair - Be wary of the time it takes to get into Manado from the hotel due to traffic
Pros: Value for money
Cons: The reception check in is very slow and inefficient. Too many big crowds from Chinese tourists with loud noise to enjoy the quiet and serenity of the place. The receptionist failed to pass down the message in regards to the unavailable for the 1 hr massage service as run out of oil and need to opt for the higher price service, and did not finish her task to pass down the room cards while changing shift, and have to clueless follow up with another staff. Will not come back to this resort again .
Pros: Spacious room. Not to much interior. Need to install at least table. The beach is reclamated. So no real beach. Just a sandy pond beach with no wave.
Cons: Interior not complete.
With a stay at Hotel Gran Puri Manado in Manado (Manado City Centre), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Manado Town Square and Mega Mall. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff.
Pros: I like the breakfast. The AC in the room works normally.
Cons: This hotel needs much renovation especially for the bedroom and bathroom.
Pros: The hotel is quite old, and this make the rooms are significantly bigger than newer hotels. I like it very much! The bed was also good, I can sleep really well. Airconditioning was not cool enough, and TV channels were limited, mainly only local channels. Don't expect too much about internet, there was wifi, but very slow. The wine and cigar lounge was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food taste was not so great, but some were good. There was no egg station at breakfast, and most of the food served were local delicacies. The portion was very large, really makes you full. Worth the money!
Cons: Internet was really bad, airconditioning not cold enough, the swimming pool was not clean, hot water was not hot enough and the shower was not correctly positioned for a comfortable bathing. The water boiler in my room was dusty inside out.
Pros: The room view
Cons: Bad smell on lift
Pros: I think all the rooms have a bathtub.
Cons: It was a near perfect hotel, but definetely need an upgrade now. Bathroom, carpets, spa room, were old
Pros: The massage and kind staff - breakfast buffet good - but could improve on fresh fruits
Cons: The carpet - old bathroom - elevator seemed old-- location horrible !!! Pool needs a revamp but at least was clean
Pros: Friendly staff that makes you feel like "home sweet home". Good music Lounge with smooth music and helpful bellboys and security staff.
Cons: 1, No Iron n ironing board provided in room. Required to iron but we have to wait for HouseKeeping staff to come in after 6.30 am. 2. Air Cond. required services 3. Orded a Steak Salmon ( room service )- room 1108 ..very bad presentation, taste less and to my surprise with plenty of bones. 4. Loud noise and rude during breakfast with the guests from China..shouted and talking pretty loud as if they own the restaurant.

Manado is 15 km from Sunset Guest House & Bar. The nearest airport is Sam Ratulangi Airport, 24 km from the accommodation.
Pros: The owners are very kind and the food is amazing. Only for the food you should visit this guesthouse. You can borrow snorkling stuff and de owners can take you on a dolphintrip. The owners can arrange scooters so you can do a trip on the island. The bed is nice and there is a good fantilator. Nice couch so you can relax aswell. Good wifi
Pros: the food was great, basic accomodation but good value for money in bunaken. located in the beach, good sunset view
Cons: took the room with the private bathroom outside room, which was in fact the toilets (and bucket shower) close to the dinning area
Pros: Eveerything was excellent for valuw money
Cons: Food, location close to seaport, n the owner mr helmy is so helpful. He arrange everything for me including dive trip n scooter rental. Perfecto
Pros: Very basic accomodation, small room but good value for money in Bunaken. The owner is very nice and helpful and the food is really good - one of best we had in Suwalesi. Gest house is well located, on the beach and close to shops and long pier that is good for snorkling. Helmi organized a snorkling trip for us and found another couple from another resort so we could share the costs.
Cons: We booked a room with the private bathroom outside room, which was in fact shared with other gests. The room is very small and gets very warm during the day, there is a fan in the room - good during the night, doesnt make much during the day. Wi-fi is patchy and works well only when the owner is on premis.
Pros: The bed was good, the food was excellent, the family atmosfeer also. Also I met lovely other travellers. They helpt also very good with everything(Diving etc).
Pros: We loved everything! Amazing host family - very friendly and helpful with arranging boat trips, transfers. We spent the days snorkelling beautiful reefs and enjoyed the most delicious meals in between. Helmi provided picnic lunches if we were out for the day - so much effort was put into the meals - they were all amazing. The accommodation is beautiful- on the beach and very comfortable. We'd love to go back. Thank you so much Hemi and Yoke!
Pros: The family is really friendly and the food is really the best!!! We stayed there for 3 nights and then moved to a Resort just because we wanted to have a own Bungalow. But the food in the Resort is not even close as good as it is here. And yes it is only a bucket for shower but thats ok. They always fill it with enough fresh water. In the end it was better to have a bucket instead of a low pressure shower which i had a lot in indonesia. So this Place is very nice and i can really recommend to stay there if you are only for a few days in Bunaken. And the dive Shop (blue shark divers) on the other side of the street is also very good!
Cons: it is in the middle of the village so i gets loud in the night and it is very hot because there is not much wind.
Pros: The hosts are so friendly and organize everything for you if you ask them. The food is the best we've ever eaten in Indonesia and every day you get something different. We can definitely recommend sunset guesthouse.
Pros: Sunset Guest House is a perfect location in Bunaken, just in the beach, you can catch the sunset easily. And the staff is very friendly, they provide everything they can for you even though the facilities are very basic. One important, the food are incredible, really amazing!!!
Cons: Just the facilities are very basic, but not their faults
Pros: So nice hosts, Yoke and Helmi are amazing and the food is absolutely fantastic. We are so sad to leave. Hopefully we can come back some time soon.
Cons: Everything was perfect!
Located in Pineleng, Mapia Resort is within a 5-minute drive of Malalayang Beach and Indah Tateli Beach. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The service
Cons: The swimming pool was a little bit dirty
Cons: They robbed us inside the room. They took a mobile phone that was in charge and the cash they could find. The staff confirmed that it had happened before, but that they did not take charge, because in addition, they do not have insurance for these incidents, on the other hand, inadmissible. The hotel is a transit area for supplies to other islands, so security for the transfer of people outside the establishment should be assured. Not only is it not, but the hotel has completely disregarded the matter. They tell us that they may have entered through the bathroom window, because the mesh was torn off, but we were more inclined to think that they entered through the main door while we were dining a mere thirty meters away, inside the same hotel. They knew where we were and when we were leaving. It is not safe and the hotel is not responsible for anything. They invite us to claim our insurance company.
Pros: Good was very nice. Nice pool. Lovely staff.
Pros: FOOD is good.
Cons: No diving class or other acitivties
Pros: Thank you very much for this wonderful holiday. We felt very comfortable and warmly welcomed right from the start. The excellent organization and loving attention to the guests of Anissa and Mia made this holiday an unforgettable experience. None of our wishes have not been fulfilled. The entire staff takes very attentive and loving care of all guests. The complex is beautiful and you feel like in paradise. The food is excellent and also special requests were fulfilled. The organized tours (diving, snorkeling, beach day on the Silades, Minahasa) were unique and we will remember you forever. A truly exceptional and highly recommended resort with a highly motivated staff, which makes a further stay worthwhile in any case.

Pros: Location near town square
Cons: Bathroom quite small
Pros: I like the bed and location
Cons: Less toilettries
Pros: Standard Hotel without surprises.
Cons: Restaurant is quite expensive. Located at main road so it can be noisy at night.
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: No hot water in shower.

This hotel has facilities measuring 10760 square feet (1000 square meters), including conference space. Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathtub was a welcome bonus. The breakfast selection was wide. There was also a wide selection of international TV channels, which is not always the case in Indonesia. Overall value for money was excellent.
Cons: The location in the central shopping district had a negative side in that some adjacent shops play extremely loud music all day long, making it difficult to rest in the room.
Pros: Friendly staff and also was given an upgrade on our room which was not expected when we arrived.
Pros: Nice location close to Malls. Big rooms with nice views. Great breakfast choice.
Cons: Warm water not available during our stay. We got another room wich had a little warmer water available. This room was Nice, but lack of maimtenance. Airco was clogged and leaking condens water. Bathroom and Toilet floor drains extremely dirty and smelly. 2 electrical sockets no power . Window couldn,t close, missing handle .window closed with small wire! Safety deposit box in room not working.no power. Overprized hotel view current condition. Be aware that Pool area can be closed for hotel guest for wedding or other events.
Pros: Very nice swimming pool and very helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: Rooms are dated.
Cons: We had asked for extra linen and pillow to be provided so our 6 year old child could sleep on the couch (there were no family rooms so we booked a junior suite with living area). Hotel had confirmed that this would be fine. We arrived at 11.30pm and they noted at check in that we needed the extra bedding and said they would deliver it. Why wasn’t it already in the room?! We asked for it to be delivered ASAP because our son needed to go to bed. 10 minutes later, they phoned us in the room to say we hadn’t paid. Why didn’t they sort this at check in?! I reminded them that the bedding had not arrived. 10 mins later - still no bedding. I phoned again. Finally it arrived. The location is very noisy - next to a busy road. Breakfast was ok, but not great.
Pros: The hotel is one of the better Indonesian style hotels in Manado with an old world charm, although n some cases a little bit dated compared to its eastern equivalent. Most the guests are very Indonesian or from other parts of Asia which gives a very local feel.
Cons: The facilities are generally pretty good. Shower didn’t function too well and a light wouldn’t turn off at night time, which meant an electrician coming late in the evening to remove it. I did find a long hair in my breakfast, but I guess that can occur anywhere. Staff don’t speak much English but we’re very helpful all the same
Pros: Very good lication Bigger room with good vieuw to the sea.
Cons: The staffs are not well train Smelly room and coridor at 7th floor Hot water does not work well Very old elevator, noizy. In the room, Aircondition does not work well, Aircon in lobby was dead.

Cons: Next to our room, all the trash was in one corner, so as a result, all the animals were aswell in our room. The shower was not working. The smell in room was bad. The staff was unfriendly and did not help at all!
Pros: The location and price is a good deal
Cons: Air con not cool at day time. Need to use fan as well. Shower head not working. I have to buy a bucket from mutlimart to bathe. Nobody clean the room for 4 days. Staff maybe over work. I see the same receptionist and helper on mornings. Afternoons and midnights. My full waste paper basket left outside room104 for 36hr from 2nd day but nobody empty it.
Pros: Nothing to be like, I have so bad experience there room smell bad, not clean, toilet so dirty.
Cons: I have so bad experience there room smell bad, not clean, toilet so dirty.
Pros: The staff was very helpful. Location are awesome. Beside convenience store.
Cons: Hotel didn’t get my reservation, creepy corridors in 3rd floor, no pillowcase in my room, tv didn’t working, WiFi very slow, only 1 lamp in my room.
Cons: No wifi, tv, bad plumbing, dirty old towells, upstairs with no help to get baggage down, Only 1 power point
Pros: The room was clean and suitable
Cons: The bathroom was not great. The sink leaked onto the floor and the shower unsatisfying. The check-in procedure was slow and tedious.

A car rental service is available at the accommodation, while hiking can be enjoyed nearby. Pros: Sleeping in a comfy and rustic treehouse, with a view on the vulcano and a bathtub.... it's not a fantasy, it's for real! Christian is the nicest host that happily accompanies you to all the interesting sites in the surrounding of Tomohon. His mother is a lovely chef the cuisine and we really enjoyed the vegetarian meals that she cooked for us, although they were not on the menu. There was a hospitality tray downstairs with.hot drinks, yummy palm cookies and lots of ripe fruits to munch on. The bed is huge and very comfortable. Puppy Harley is the sweetest dog alive.
Cons: A hot water kettle in the treehouse would be most convenient, since climbing up and down with cups makes you spill so much tea. The boiler that provides the bathroom with hot water is sufficiently heating up for two shower turns, but since the bath is huge, it will fill it half full.
Pros: Great location with great view. Friendly staff. We liked it so much that we booked for a second day.
Cons: The room could have beniffited from having a kettle, so that we could make tea in the night. Unfortunately thw lights went out on the second day, it would have been nice if the staff checked up on us once when we returned from our travel, because initially when we came in we were a bit lost/confused.
Pros: The location is really nice! You are in the heart of the nature and can do great hikes to the volcanos without traveling a long time. Amelia and Christian are very kind and ensure that everything was fine. You can rent one of their motorcycles and access very quickly Tomohon and its famous market.
Cons: One road is quite close to the property so that you can hear sometimes the motorcycles and minibuses from the room.
Pros: Situated within the upper slopes looking over the volcanoes. Trees filled with ant plants and ant ferns. Staff are amazing and make you feel at home immediately. Awesome breakfast, best we has in Sulaweisi.
Cons: The road is rather noisy until 10 pm.
Pros: Very friendly family that made our stay meet our expectation. Need scooter to get to the village but this was arranged.
Pros: The sound of nature at night and the homemade meals.
Cons: Shower pressure and water temperature could be better.
Pros: The most amazing and underrated place of Sulawesi, the bungalows are amazing and Christian and his family are full of kindness. Yes It is away from the center but easily reacheable by scoot or Grab (less than one dollar) ! The breakfast is huge and delicious - maracuya and mango are yummy. Would definitly come back next time !
Pros: The staff is really nice. They propose some activities around . Lakon is a really nice one. The view is perfect.
Pros: Location, breakfast, quiet, nice lady owner who made us very good dinner when we arrived late at the first night. Staff was friendly and helped plan our trips.
Cons: Someone used our private toilet at the treehouse when we stayed there and left it behind very dirty. Pee was on the toilet seat. We had to clean it ourselves. Not nice.

Pros: Friendly staff, food available most part of the day, decent Wi-Fi
Cons: Needs a grab to get to the city (10 minutes)
Pros: Good breakfast, comfortable studio room with AC. Staff helped with advice for Bunaken, Tangkoko and the highlands. Rented motorbike with discounted rate, and they let us leave our bag there multiple times. Very friendly and amazing value.
Cons: The common area is a smoking area, which is understandable but we would have preferred a smoke free place :)
Pros: Good value for money. You can have lunch and dinner for really cheap, 15k. Wifi works great
Cons: The place could have a little touch-up. The smell of people smoking in the next door cafe got into the common area which is right outside our room.
Pros: Great breakfast
Pros: Very nice breakfast, friendly staff (but most of them cannot speak english)
Cons: Its a bit difficult to get to the city center by public transportation
Pros: Staff was friendly. Simple but good rooms.
Pros: Excellent breakfast, clean bathrooms, helpful staff, good food.

With a stay at Onong Resort in Siladen Island, you'll be on the beach and close to Bunaken National Park. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request).
Pros: Everything! This place was incredible! Nice facilities. The food was delicious. Lunch and dinner consisted of a 3 course meal. Breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beach and reef in front of the hotel are spectacular. I loved this place, extended my stay one night, and wished I could have stayed longer. It's the perfect place to dive, snorkel, read, and relax in the sun. It was worth every penny.
Cons: Kayak was out of use for the time being. I would suggest adding an Indonesian breakfast choice.
Pros: Great location, snorkeling right in front of hotel. Peaceful and tropical location. Nice boat ride and car service from airport (albiet at a steep price). Spending night in Manado was good plan.
Cons: "Nickle and dime" you for every little amenity (borrowing fins, for example). Food is ok if you like seafood and pasta frequently. Pricey for what you get -- not a good value. Disappointed in caliber of snorkeling vs. Great Barrier Reef.
Pros: staffs are very kind great BBQ and show performed by kids and staff
Cons: room 1 door is not easy to lock air conditioner should be in good maintain, it is a little bit hot in room
Pros: The food is good. The sea is so beautiful and the price of snorkeling is cheep.
Cons: We have to walk in the sea to ride on the boat to the onong resorts. So the stuff should tell that we had better wear the clothes which is okey if wet.
Pros: The location on the point, near beaches and good snorkeling spots was superb. It was great to be in such a relaxed atmosphere, with friendly staff and good food. The beachfront cabins are worth getting - as the view is terrific. We really enjoyed our snorkeling trips with the dive boats. The staff were very friendly to my kids. The resort is pricey but they work hard to maintain European standards.
Cons: Minor issue - the music played in the restaurant / bar was sometimes too loud.
Pros: Got upgraded to room right on the beach.Food was great.Comfortable bed and newly renovated bathroom.Room cleaned daily.Booked to go diving, got in the water but was unable to equalize my left ear and was not charged for dive.Beautiful island excellent for snorkeling with plenty of coral and fish right out the front of our room.
Cons: All good
Pros: Amazing and very quiet beachside resort on Siladen island, neighbouring the more expensive Kuda Laut resort (same owners), where we were sometimes invited to for meals at their restaurant and sharing the same fleet of dive boats (Celebes divers) for the trips to the dive sites. Great bar, singing local songs in the evenings included, great staff, very friendly, superb diving sites (vertical wall reefs all around the place, plenty of turtle, blue spotted sting rays, Napoleon fish, Giant Trevally, smaller stuff, like Nudibranch, and if you are lucky, also some white tip and black tip reef sharks), with very experienced dive guides. Sun sets next to Manado Tua each day, watching sunsets is a must do here for all the romantic souls. If you ever want to live in paradise, if only for a few days, go here. It was hard to leave this island.
Pros: Very good location, beautiful beach.
Cons: It is a typical holiday resort. A guest pays a lot of money and because of it gets smiles from the staff. There is that very little thing missing there...

A dip in the infinity pool overlooking the Volcano and breakfast on the mountain-view terrace start your day in style. The hotel also offers a Golf Course, Kids Corner, Fitness Center and a Spa Services.
Pros: The hotel in itself is nice. The staff is kind.
Cons: Many things. The first room they assigned us had a major and ultra-evident problem, which could have been easily detected in advance. Afterwards they assigned us another room, but when we opened the door a lot of mosquitos came inside the room from the dark and humid hotel hallways. The dividing wood between the bedroom and the bathroom had big holes and you could see through, so no privacy at all when sitting on the bowl of the toilet. I had a cold shower (indeed the hot water came, but only after 10 minutes). In general not clean. I could list other flaws but I stop here to keep it short. All in all, this Novotel was a big disappointment after the perfect staying in the Bali Novotel.
Pros: Close to airport for next day early flight, Air conditioning worked well, room was comfortable, quiet as it is set away from busy streets
Cons: rooms needs some maintenance upkeep,
Pros: Staff so good, great facilities
Pros: Service upon checkin
Cons: Missed wake up call and the insects in the room. The upkeeping is bad. Room has been placed with a water dispenser rather than bottle of water. Minibar not cold.
Pros: We really enjoyed the hotel..staff amazing, pool, gym, restaurant...amazing pizza.. All together we stayed 8 nights on two occasions...we will return.
Cons: The hotel need to be renovated
Pros: Close to the airport
Cons: Lack of maintenance. Rooms and the restaurant needs an upgrade. Seems like nothing has been done over the past years.
Pros: I got upgrading room from superior to junior suit Facilities are quite good Room was big Breakfast menu were good
Cons: Reception and all the staff were very slow to respond customer needed. I asked for sugar which never came to my room Restaurant need more attention how to manage the guest and the cleanliness I found many flies in the restaurant which is in 4 star hotel

Pros: It is on a beautiful location and the staff is friendly and helpful with all our requests.
Cons: The prices in the restaurant are high.
Pros: Good sea and sunshine
Cons: So noise around cocotinos
Pros: Beautiful hotel, near the airport so handy for a flight the next day
Cons: Not all the staff spoke English. Nearby Mosque blasting out call to prayer at 4am
Pros: The bungalow was beautifully furnished and had great views. But the real strong point of Cocotino's is the restaurant. The food is really well prepared, tasty and well seasoned. From "western" dishes to local Indonesian classics - you can't go wrong with your order.
Cons: Reception staff duped us when arranging the airport transfer. We paid way more than other guests, and when approached about this, the receptionist quite cheekily told us that we hadn't haggled enough with him to receive the lower fare. He also inisited on us paying the transfer in cash to him, rather than to the driver.
