Very friendly and comfortable pub with great food, the rooms were clean and cosy and would stay again
Made to feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. Rooms perfect and all the amenities we needed. Breakfast really good and also had dinner here which we couldn't fault in any way.
Everything was perfect for our stay
Very comfortable pub. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent with a good selection on the regular and christmas menus. Nicely decorated throughout, lovely log fire in dining area. Tables nicely spaced avoiding that crowded feeling sometimes get in pubs. Room clean and fresh with tea and coffee making available. Will definitely stay again.
Only one small negative was that the hot water pressure was not strong at times in the shower, probably if being used elsewhere at the same time
Great welcome from our hosts as we were shown our room. We were given a massive bedroom with a large “sledge” bed, quirky furnishings and a chaise longue. The bathroom was also a good size and well stocked with quality toiletries. The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked to order. Plenty of spacious parking and although we didn’t take an evening meal here (as we were visiting friends locally), the main menu looked very good.
Nothing. We liked everything and would recommend The Hatch to anyone.
Very welcoming, accomodating and made you feel at home
Doors in corridor could have done with a lick of paint, but the room itself was very good
