I really liked the ambience, the staff were lovely really helpful.
Generously allowed us to stay in hostel after checkout, so we went to the beach and came back and used showers, wifi. This was a big plus.
I am only 193cm, (6'3") and bed was too short and also mattress very old and uncomfortable. No western options for breakfast but at least they had bread and a toaster.

Such a beautiful building, very well organised, friendly staff, fluffy towels, as much free tea and coffee as you like and a lovely buffet breakfast with an amazing view of old jaffa. Be warned - this is a lively part of town so chaos in the streets outside is standard especially on weekends....but you get free earplugs too so no worries!
The staff were friendly, the rooftop patio was a great feature, the hostel is older but maintained and clean. You can't beat the location of this hostel. Amazing neighborhood. Be prepared for it too be a little loud at night. The nightlife is full on.
The room we had was a little small and the bed wasn't super comfy. The shower was very hard to get in and out of. Overall all though great value for money. I just wouldn't advise a 6ft tall person to stay in that particular room.
Set in one of the liveliest parts of Jaffa, right in the middle of the famous flea market and 400 metres from the beach, the Old Jaffa Hostel has a shared kitchen and a rooftop terrace with seating lounge. A light breakfast with toast, vegetables, hummus, white cheese, butter, jam, chocolate, coffee and tea is included and served from 08:00 to 11:00 daily. There is a grocery shop 50 metres away, and many restaurants and bars can be found in the immediate vicinity as well. The bus station is only 300 metres walking distance from Hostel Old Jaffa. Tel Aviv city centre and the HaHagana Train Station are 3 km away.
