The breakfast was ok.
Weird stuff happened during night: a girl screamed like if she was about to get raped, but when you get out in the hall, and that you ask to people working there whats going on, people dont give you any explanations and just tell you 'Everything is fine'. Please, even if the girl was one of your employee, explain what is going on and make people feel safe, don't act like it is a ***** sect. Toilets were often broken, and the cleanliness in general could be greatly improved.
The reception staff are very nice
For me everything was good
The staff is super nice, the location is OK, it wasn't the most beautiful place of Tel Aviv, mostly because around they were broken everything around to renew it I guess. But in some how I liked being in that part of the city. Not far from everything you need, and it gives also a little authentic taste. Anyway the room was good, the rooftop a plus, I enjoy simple things so that are the good points.
I have to say it is not so hard to take out the hairs blocked in the syphon of the shower, and takes three to five minutes to make it just enough clean to be more comfortable for ppl. I do understand hostel life, I did not booked an expensive hostel and a big service, I am not a maniac of cleaning either, my standard aren't higher than usual, I just wanna say, you could make so little effort and could be definitely better. Also, we booked a private room with shared kitchen/bathroom, and our room was in front of the kitchen, which brings drunk people at night. Especially some ppl that wasn't educated to live in community, and this was slightly annoying to pay a higher price and gets annoyed like we was in a shared room. But OK.
The staff is nice and the travelers that stay in the hostel are amazing. The price is also good for Tel Aviv. They give water and tea and the reception is 24h.
The mattress are too thin and we need to put/return the sheets of the bed. Also the bedroom can be very cold sometimes The location is far from the best places in Tel Aviv.
The ubication was fine to go to the airport
We were perplexed when we found a paper posted on the wall saying autentically foolish things about East Jerusalem and the Muslim Quarter, and about muslims in general. They were claiming that these part of Jerusalem was severely affected by an infestation of bedbugs, awaring you if you were thinking on visiting and threating peaple that has already visited that part on burning them inside their sleeping bag. Don't know if it was a joke or real but it seems to us a racist comment and innacceptable. We won't go there again.
