The location is good. The hotel has several own beaches. I would expect that the staff of this grand hotel has at least a very minimal knowledge of any foreign language. This is not the case.
Outdoor hotel locations are very nice and well maintained. Rooms are big. I would recommend this hotel only if a big discount is applied on the standard rates (which happened for me, making the quality/price ratio OK for this area). The hotel shows its age in all the indoor locations. For examples, rooms have ancient appliances and I would rate them 2/3 star. Breakfast and dinner are definitively not great. The closest sandy beach suited for a family is 3km away, but you'll need a car as it is not reachable on foot.
Location - short walk through gardens to beach. Lovely beach. Decor. Friendly staff - they were happy for us to use the common facilities after we checked out of the room on the last day. Nice room. A review somewhere mentioned the standard rooms were small, so not entirely sure if it was a standard room as booked, as it was a perfectly good size with a little porch. No.
The breakfasts were so good, The dinners were excelent, every evening a tipicals plates from Sardinia (antipasto, primo e secondo). Very nice and friendly Staff. The pool is beautiful and relaxthy. The beach is lovely, white sand, crystalline water. For we the best beach around the chia. The hotel hasn't umbrellas at beach so you have to rent it, for about 26 euros per day, very expensive.
Kindness of staff, great food, great location near beach, comfortable room, secluded location, quality guests.
Very close to the beach. Great Garden and Pool. Everthing was fine. Very good dinner. Actually the best dinner we had in Sardenia.
Beautiful hotel in a nice and quiet spot near a splendid sandy beach with only a few people on it. Beuatiful pool with comfortable chairs and bathing towels avalaible in the room. Vast choice at breakfast. Friendly personnel. Bathroom and especially shower are a little bit tiny.
Hotel itself, surroundings, magnificient beach Although there was never surprise when I booked from booking.com, hotel did not provide us classical room although your confirmation. Our room (esp. bathroom, they assured that the rest is the same as classical) was designed to the needs of disabled. Because the hotel was all booked, they did not change our room. It was not fair when you travel all from another country in your 1 week annual leave
Perfect stay. Very quiet, magnificent beach, excellent food.
Very responsive staff and flexibility while offering type of stay. Bree bicycles with baby chair :-) Didn't like food at all. Very poor breakfast, limited menu at lunch and fixed dinner set for fixed price with no any choice :-(
Great food (half board) nice pool, quiet environment, great staff, lack of iron - we had to use their own laundry service which was expensive. I would have like dto iron my own clothes
Very friendly atmosphere in this family owned hotel. Room are spacious and very clean. Standard in comparison to many 4 star hotels on the island is very good. Quiete place to relaxe and stop by for some night. The matraces had seen their best time. Too soft for me personally.
The resort is beautifully designed and has a wonderful view of the mountains from the pool & gardens. The staff is very friendly and the cocktails at sunset are amazing! The breakfast should include fresh fruit as Sardinia has plenty of it on offer.
Lovely setting, Marco in reception was excellent, spoke very good english and was really informative about the area and the hotel, the rooms were excellent, spotlessly clean, lovely bathroom with really good quality toiletries especially the shampoo!!!,The room was made even better with the little garden, our room was sun filled in the evenings and we sat out in the little private garden , we did not use the pool but it looked really clean ,all the other staff were friendly as well, altogether , a lovely stay, and would recomemend it Not really a complaint but a suggestion- perhaps breakfast could have been a bit more inventive, different fruits each day and may be better quality juice, it tasted very powdery and packet mix type juice, not at all pleasant but the coffee, hot milk, tea and fresh buttery croissants were really lovely as was the fresh bread in little baskets on your table
rest and beautiful surrounding, a little far away from some activity and nothing to buy but olives at the bar, cocktails are great and the prices are fair enough.dinner good, but I do not know if we would have stayed longer if it would not become boring. the breakfast was very poor and as I did tell before I was Glutenfree the brakfast was not enough and there was no bread.for dinner they did there best but as alternative there was only all the time fruit, in Italy you can become more.
The hotel staff was extremely helpful when we had a problem with our car! Very friendly!!! I would have preferred a buffet breakfast.
This resort is very new, and has been designed and fitted out with an eye to detail and quality. It is beautifully landscaped and fit perfectly into the surreal mountain surroundings. Its secluded and feels private. The room was on the small side, but had a private outdoor garden with a table and chair, and the weather is good so you wouldn't spend much time inside anyway. Great pool, deck and cafe/bar facilities, you could easily spend your day relaxing at the hotel. Its also located only 5 minutes drive from some spectacular beaches - remote and uncrowded natural areas. The staff speak excellent English and are friendly and obliging - also provide little extras like beach towels and hotel shuttle to the beach. I would recommend it. There is not much to eat around the area, you'll need a car. Its close to a small village which has a few restaurants, and you can drive to other small towns, but you'd better like pizza. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant so can't comment. Room wasn't huge, but was well fitted out with quality fitting and a good standard of basic, country luxury. No internet. If you are looking for a myriad of tourist activities, you might find this side of the island too quiet for your liking, but if like me, you were looking for a not-over-developed, quiet and relaxing holiday, then this is the place.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort was very quiet as it was the end of the season, but they were attentive and kind. The location is beautiful!!!! Truly remote and calm. The room was very very clean and spacious. We loved it
Great complex freindly staff plenty of parking good food
nice and clean,tranquill,no noise
- The beach. - No Internet connection, as in the offer; - we had to ask for a new room - the first one was HORROR !!!
The staff were very friendly and helpful and I loved the train to the beach - the driver was particularly warm and professional. I didn't particularly like the restaurant right near the beach. The staff there weren't particularly welcoming. We got there 5 minutes to 4 and they didn't come to the table until 10 minutes past and then told us gruffly that the kitchen was closed and all we could have was pizza.
Very friendly and always helpful staff. Great food. Very nice beach. Many activities for kids organized by dedicated hotel staff. Would have liked a slightly bigger room, sound proofing should be better for a Hotel of that category.
terrific site (most beautiful beaches I have ever seen!), also the buildings and accomoditions in the resort are lovely. very friendly people. clean room. nice breakfast. very quiet in low season (we stayed half May), the shops and some restaurants at the resort were closed. old fashioned tv with few channels.
Helpful staff and the restaurants were of a high standard
Loved the food absolutely delicious and the hotel surroundings...beautiful!! the beach!
Food, Nearby Hotel Beach Most of Hotel Parco Torre Chia's rooms are spread out over a hillside. If you have difficulty walking uphill then you could have some serious problems as there are no lifts to those away from the main building. We were put in the top furthermost room and due to my partners angina condition we had to plan every journey, getting back from dinner could take 15 exhausting minutes.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Beautiful setting with awesome swimming pool and nearby beach. Food was excellent. The water at the nearest beach was a bit dirty from seaweed so I would recommend to coordinate some preventive action.
Although quite a bit older than the neighbouring resort – all part of Meridian – it’s location is fantastic. The apartments sit either side of a hill, one side is a truly beautiful beach and on the other is a Lagoon and the newer Meridian resort. The place has a rustic charm, but the facilities are somewhat showing there age – having said that, we found that we could use the new resorts four swimm
Fantastic beach, beautiful surroundings and crystal clear water. Excellent buffet with lots of fresh seafood.
The food was of a high standard considering it was full board. Also, if you wish to go out in the evening a car is essential.Good for families but would not really recommend this particular place for couples - Le Meridian across the road more suitable. No beach towels!
Nice hotel with friendly staff. Good location, near the beautiful Chia beaches and the entire amazing west coast within easy reach. We went in mid-June when there were 100% Italians there, mostly families with young children. We were practically the only couple there. The buffé in the restaurant was good and the waiters polite and friendly. Very tidy and quiet rooms with good air conditioning The staff knew very little English which was a bit frustrating at times. The kids club could be a bit annoying as they played loud music during the meals. Also the young staff in "The colourful team" were a bit too much sometimes. If you're not into beach-games and summer sports you will probably feel a bit intimitated by them shouting "Beach-volleeeeey" every five minutes.
The hotel has a very relaxed attittude and is extremely family friendly and evenings quiet on the entertainment front however you can walk across the road and enjoy the facilities of Le Meredien hotel. My only comment would be that during the dates we stayed 7/09/08 - 14/09/08 it was very noticeable that it was end of season! The bar had shut early, certain wines not available andgreat confusion as to where to collect beach towels!
