The bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious. The shower was extremely clogged up and the water would not drain fast. It was disgusting.
Hotel staff is very curtious and always ready to help. My room was clean and in great condition. Breakfast was good, I would recommend staying here .
It is super nice. Very clean and friendly staff. I requested before arriving for our room to be stocked with exI absolutely loved the pool and hot tub that is open 24 hours
The complimentary breakfast was a nice feature (the blueberry waffles were actually really good!). In the morning, on the way to the breakfast room, the hallway smelled of weed quite terribly.
We stayed here with our travel soccer team. The staff was amazing. They were very accommodating and friendly. They even wished our boys luck when they went out for games and asked for the scores when they returned. The staff was also great at keeping the breakfast food coming for our hungry team of teenagers! The rooms were clean and a great value for the money. The pool area was great for the boys and the patio was perfect for the adults. They even had a free shuttle that took us to/from dinner!
The smell of smoke in the bathroom was unbareable. Room on top of the swimming pool. The noise from the pool was something that we did not appreciate. The heat from the swimming pool was not good either. Could have stayed in the holliday in for a similar price. Not a good experience. They gave me a 25 dollars discount. I would pay additional 25 USD not to have these problems.
24/7 pool Pillows are uncomfortable
The room was nice. The staff was very accommodating to my needs. The accessible bathroom was great. I loved how the pool and spa was opened 24 hours. It is in walking distance to numerous restaurants.
Pool on site & location were good for my business trip. Pool very small. The room was missing half the coffee pot, and you could hear every neighbor. The breakfast set-up was not cared for and had non-functioning equipment and missing some of the food items listed online. Price is same as the very nice hotel 2 down I have stayed with a few times prior, but they are often fully booked.
The front desk staff person was very nice and helpful when we had problems with our rooms. Breakfast was good, as well. We did not like doors that leaked cold air from the outside, dead bolts that did not work (close), and a heater that made very loud noises all night long! It was extremely hard to sleep in this hotel.
This hotel was clean & comfortable. Staff was friendly. I must of been there during a family reunion. Nothing against the hotel, more on the parents. Children were running the halls at ALL hours
Great location. Pleasant facility, flawed by the lack of an elevator. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was good, but poorly managed and staffed. No elevator.
The breakfast service was sad: the mini-omelettes were served partially frozen; the staff was extremely slow replenishing items as they ran out (bacon, waffle mix, milk).
Great king sized bed, A/C, nice easy chair in room No freezer compartment in the fridge
All staff was exceptionally friendly and courteous! Clean rooms. Good value!
Great value for the money. Very clean and updated! Food at the hotel restaurant was not very good. Also the hot food during the free breakfast was gross and the buffet was poorly organized and super crowded.
Great staff. Amber at the front desk was very helpful. Nice property. Nice amenities NA
Bathrooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was decent although a bit crowded. Location is good with easy access to a local shopping plaza across the street and restaurants. Thin staffing. The person at the front desk literally checked us in while simultaneously talking with some one on the phone. Dated carpets. The room seemed a bit cramped. I thought the stay was somewhat pricey for the service provided, granted we went on a busy weekend.
Convenient parking lot, everything in town walking distance, great restaurants nearby, great happy hour climate in city lounge and city vu. Hotel, restaurant, and bar all reasonably priced.
Location is fantastic for this LEED certified hotel. Ver modern design and room furnishings. Food looked good coming out of the top floor CityVu. Lots of out of order signs, parking lot chaos during happy hour, hallway not swept during stay, uncomfortable unsupportive bed for a large frame person. Expensive for this level of service.
Very clean, comfortable and excellent location to walk to the main shopping and dining area of downtown Holland. A little expensive.
Reception staff was very friendly! Handicap room was perfect.
Free WI-FI ? You got what you paid for. Staff's answer was, "Well, they give out the "free" vouchers to too many people and so it slows down the system. You always could have bought the $19.95 per day exclusive Wi-Fi"...so if you want to stream that game, surf the web, or get some work done...figure the room will cost another $20/day.
I liked the size of the lobby and the appearance of the room. The beds were not that comfortable and the bathroom was extremely small for a group of friends sharing a room. We had a bigger bathroom at a hotel that was not as upscale.
We were there for just one night so we did not do much at the hotel but sleep. Very comfortable bed. We liked it.
Loved the cookies! The room was great, we even had a balcony And pool access. Staff was very friendly. Very uncomfortable beds. And the pillows turned into nothing after you put your head on it.
Cleanliness, comfort. Price, cable was poor, no breakfast included. I stayed in a Hyatt Place in Arizona for half the price, same/better amenities, with a hot breakfast included. Obviously Hilton was gouging based on limited competition and seasonally high demand (Holland Tulip Time).
Booked last minute for the weekend. Clean, comfortable and close to the beaches and downtown Holland. Would definitely come again.
Not much, except the manager did try to alleviate the check in clerks major attitude and opinion of me and my family. Entering the correct date on my inquiry did not translate to a correct check in date at the hotel. I arrived and was treated like I had oozing leprosy by the odd and very unfriendly clerk. He offered no help in trying to figure out what happened, and tried his very best to try to burn us on a "singularly available" room. This after he just informed someone he had 26 rooms open. Several guests were gathering behind us watching this whole show this character put on. No kayak, no hotels.com, no microtell ever again for us.
This hotel cost $170 on hotels.com and looked and smelled like a $40 hotel. There was a bunch of construction debris in the parking lot, and the view was a weedy lot and some type of industrial storage area. The carpet was dirty, there were dirty hand prints on the wall of our room, the large wall mirror was broken and covered with a piece of tape, and the mini fridge in our room was unplugged with no outlet in reach of the cord. I don't expect luxury from a Microtel, but the ones I've stayed in before we're at least clean and nice looking. This one was downright dingy. If we were doing it over, we'd spend more or less and stay somewhere else.
Bed Breakfast not well organized. Coffee run out. The floors appeared clean but they did not take time to clean edges. Most hotels we go to are spotless. It was I believe the quality if the management to allow that. Harder to check in with 3rd party.
We were very pleased with this hotel. More importantly, my wife liked the room. She tends to be a germaphobe so when she was impressed it makes the trip much more pleasant. The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast that was included was also nice. The woman who prepared the breakfast was very polite nad professional. If we go to this area again we will definitely stay at this hotel again. The only negative I can think of is that the towel bar in the bathroom came loose while we stayed at this hotel. They had a card in the room to report issues like this so I filled it out and dropped it at the front desk.
The breakfast had a nice variety. We enjoyed the pool as well. The receptionist was friendly and helpful with local information. No complaints.
Clean facility, spacious suite, well equipped kitchen, living area and bedroom. No hot water, exorbitant fee for pets
Beautiful hotel, wonderful ammenities Nothing
staff bed was comfy place smelled bad, inside and out!!!
All was as expected. comfortable bed, working wifi, breakfast was simple, but as expected.
Not one thing, breakfast was awful, frozen biscuits in warmer, no coffee in urns, waffle mix was empty, Danish were empty and no bagels or cream cheese no plastic silverware, too few channels on TV, air conditioner very noisy and any painting, tile work or trim work was the worst quality I have ever seen. Everything, price way over priced for area and quality of room and amenities. My wife and I stAy in hotels 30 nights a year and this was by far the worst in the last five years And we average between $80 to $140 a night with better everything. VERY DISAPPOINTED
I didn't care for being for more money after the room had been paid for on line. The was being accused for being a thief before I stayed there. The food being served at breakfast was out dated and stale.
Recently updated, nice comfortable bed. Room was right next to the elevator. Recently remodeled which was evident from the paint splatters on the sill and carpet. Microwave was broken and toilet didn't want to flush. Not and ideal location near holland activities. Too much money for what you actually get.
Everything was clean, quiet and comfortable. the furniture was too big for the room, with 3 people it was hard to move around the beds.
Super friendly and helpful person at the front desk.
We needed a place to stay for only one night that would allow animals. In that sense, Days Inn completely satisfied. Staff was friendly. They offered free breakfast however the food was very questionable. Peanut butter packets were hard as bricks - not spreadable. Cheese omelets were prepackaged and kept on top of the microwave... Who knows for how long. Hardly any room to actually sit down for breakfast. Bathrooms were extremely dirty. Dirt all along the mop board. Beds were broken down. All you could feel were the springs. Pets aren't allowed to be left in rooms - hadn't experienced this at any other hotel or inn before. Feel as though I overpaid for what I got.
Everything, the Days Inn was we wonderful, rooms were updated, the bathrooms were very clean. Breakfast was going included homemade pancakes! Play area had a beautiful swimming pool, swingset and a slide a large picnic table. Loved it!!! Love evey thing !!!!!!????
Location to the downtown was great. Friendly service. Good breakfast compared to most hotels. Hotel was very clean. The hotel does not have much personality. It is outdated compared to other hotel of same price range. The beds were to soft for our taste. Parking can be an issue. We had to use the college's parking lots.
Staff very helpful. Clean rooms. Very accommodating. A/C very noisy, kept waking up when compressor turned on.
Friendly staff, clean rooms. Pool is. Open late!
It was nice and clean. The breakfast was good and a lot of choices. We enjoyed our stay. We will definitely go there again
Room was clean and odorless. Bed was almost uncomfortable and needs a waterproof shell encasing it. Hallway had a strong soapy smell. Chair at the small table is uncomfortable after 20 minutes.
The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful. The bed is very comfortable. The room had a strong perfume smell. I woke up with swollen eyes and a stuffed nose.
Nothing It had an overwhelming mold odor, was drab and dirty looking is poor repair. It appeared to be a young adult party place very loud patrons. I would not and did not stay I asked for a complete refund... I also cancelled future reservations that I had made. Do not even attempt to book this motel.
Front desk staff was nice. Very dirty bathroom tub and sink. I don't know the last time someone cleaned it. I don't believe they had vacuumed in quite some time either. We actually saw, what I believe was, a milk-dud on the floor. I sure hope it was a milk-dud!
