Pros: Mr. B and his family are very welcoming. They organized a safari for us and helped us with every question we had. We definitely recommend staying at this place!
Pros: The place had a very personal touch to it! Me B's family took care of us and hanged with is all the time! One night they fixed a campfire and web grilled some food and got some local (very good) spirits! Top notch all the way throu! Would recommend 10 out 10 times!
Cons: There wasn't much to not like! My shower did not have hot water but the fixed that with a hot bucket shower! Very good service!
Pros: Clean accommodation and nice foods, even nicer than I expected. The room is big and comfortable. Mr'B and family really made me feel like home when I stayed there. I did jungle walk and rafting, saw 2 tigers and a lot of rhinos. Beautiful place, good service!
Pros: It was one of the place I ever stayed in my life. Extremely friendly staff that acts like one big family. The property is very nice with a beautiful garden and a fire pit in the centre. The food in the restaurant was always fresh, very tasty and good value. The guides were very qualified and did their best to find some animals and to explain everything in the park. I am looking forward to come back again once maybe in summer time, when there is a higher chance to see some tigers.
Pros: An excellent place from which to visit Bardia National Park! Mr B and his family were super helpful and friendly, and the lodge was clean, comfortable and a very good price. Highly recommended!
Pros: Extremely close to the gates of Bardia National Park Excellent and intimidatingly huge portions of food Amazing guiding services! Made you feel like one of the family
Cons: Nothing! The shower was automatically cold in my room, but if you ask in advance hot water can be switched on easily for you, or alternatively book a room with hot water supplier as per.
Pros: We arrived off the night bus in Ambassa at 4.15am and Bibash was already there to pick us up in his jeep. From that moment we were made to feel so welcome by the whole family. We were given a room at 5am so that we could sleep off the journey and get some energy for the party we were to have at Mr B’s family home to celebrate Tihar with all of his other guests! We ate, drank and danced - such a wonderful, memorable evening. The rooms are spacious and clean. The private bathroom with western toilet was also clean. The water is solar heated so time it right and you’ll have a lovely hot shower. The safaris organised by Mr B were great. I would highly recommend the foot safari and go daily over a few days. They are very reasonably priced and include lunch/water. We were lucky enough to see 4 rhinos and a tiger over 2 days - thanks to Susila and Rajkumar for their guiding. Mr B’s place offers a vast menu of delicious food and the portions are very generous. They really cannot do enough to help you and you will have a great stay if you book here.
Cons: Beds hard but you can request a mattress topper if you need.
Pros: It is a family run business, and everybody is super nice and helpful. It has that home feeling, and they take care of tours, bus tickets, etc for you. Food is very good, the firepit is an awesome social area, the guides are very knowledgeable (some are family too, BB took me on a great "deep jungle" walking safari). Great experience, would sure go back!
Cons: All good
Pros: I liked the overall things of that place.
Cons: There's nothing i didn't liked because i liked everything of that place.

Pros: There's a small stream within the compound that my 8 year old daughter and 12 year old son love to go for a dip. That was the highlight of the trip for them. The strong wifi signal is great!
Cons: I guess it was more due to the timing of our visit. It was very humid and warm. But the host did the best that they can to make my family feels comfortable in the hut by giving us extra fan for the room. The lighting in the room can be brighter (for room 3).
Pros: Staff are beyond and above amazing. Their always up for a laugh and all of them are so greatly passionate about the jungle. We did a 3 day jungle trek and safari Jeep with 3 different guides and each of them where more than outstanding, informative and passionate. They have a beautiful flowing river which is fresh from the mountains and is perfect for these hot days. We ate here all the time and tried most of the food on the menu and it was ALWAYS so delicious. Rooms are equipped with own bathroom and fan.
Cons: After receiving a confirmation from booking.com, they had no record of my arrival, so I had to go elsewhere.
Pros: Awesome experience! Initially We booked 3 nights but then We extended to 5. All the staff is more than amazing and very helpful, guides very professional and passionate, food is always lovely and good value. The rooms are very spacious and they all have a fan. I highly recommend this place to anyone. You won’t regret it
Pros: It was great value, good and helpful staff. Good guiding trips, the rafting trip could be a bit shorter
Pros: The price is very convenient but you will share a room w lots of bugs. As the jungle tours compared to the other place they are definitely more affordable.Food is always freshly made.
Cons: The room was full of spiders and mosquitos. Staff ended up being very unfriendly when they had to drop me to the border w India. I paid for a car and in the middle of the journey 7 locals ppl shared the ride w me (I was not told this). They didnt want to take me to the drop off location previously agreed. Only after arguing they did it reluctantly. For the dolphins tour they could have asked the local ppl they know at the river to see if they were dolphins that day, but they didnt and there was no sight of any dolphins. Careful when you go there. The road to get there is really bad, so its not for the faint hearted ones. Overall, They are quite disorganized. My hope for them is they will learn how to treat ppl better. Dont pay in Euro or other currencies bc they will not give you a fair exchange rate.
Pros: I visited almost lots country in world but bardia is one of highlight of my stay .staff are so frankly and like family .I was with jungle king baba we show 2 tiger 45 elephant and 3 rhino in first days jungle walk.and krishan is one of the best manager I meet so far.sure I love to come again and again.food is amazing ..
Cons: No thing

Pros: The river running through the property is perfect to cool down in the heat.
Cons: The guides were not professional.

Pros: Liked the location of the resort very much. Quiet and peaceful for relaxing and the owner John was very helpful.
Cons: As it is rainy season, the grasses in the resort were not maintained properly. Rooms walls could have been more cleaner and their should be variety in the food (special for me Indian ones). But all together a nice and a peaceful stay for me. Would definitely be coming back for staying at the resort with a Jungle Trip with John.
Pros: John is an awesome host ... really chilled out vibes ... plenty of adventure tours if your an active type ... we had one action packed walking tour of the NP and ended up extending our 2 night stay to a week enjoying doing nothing at all

Pros: The owner and staff are excellent, really friendly and helpful. There is good parking for our large car. The walking safari and Jeep safari were good, all those guiding us were very knowledgable, kind and helpful. Most of them speak good English. The relaxed atmosphere in the dining room and the encouragement of the staff mean the guests interact well with each other as well as the staff.
Cons: There is currently no hot running water, but they will heat a bucket full of water if you ask. They plan on installing solar water heating. At this time of year cold water is fine.

Mr. Anil is very calm and accommodating guide and knows many languages. It's a great place to witness nature and wildlife. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The chef's specialty is traditional Nepali food.
Cons: The drive reaching the location might be difficult/bumpy for the less adventurous. To enjoy your stay avoid the bus drive from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and take the flight instead. Also, avoid summer months as the weather rises a lot. But do note that summer months are the best to spot wildlife along the river.
Pros: The place is perfect value for money. The food was good and made to customisation. The staff is courteous and helpful. The location is very good. 10 minutes walk from the riverside and from the National park entrance. Also, the resort is very peaceful and a very good place for people who love the calm. A perfect place to stargaze while sitting around the bonfire.
Cons: The washroom was not good. The fixtures were broken. There was not hot water in the wash-basin. The curtains in the room were short and weren't covering the full window. The mattress and pillows weren't very comfortable.
Pros: Lovely cottages in a green calm environment just outside the little village. Owners will come to pick you up at bus stop. They are friendly and helpful to arrange your park entrance and tour.100%raccomanded.
