Fantastic welcoming staff, room clean and comfortable value for money was brilliant
Bathroom was really small in our double room can't be helped I know but was tiny
We arrived mid morning on a Saturday I had rung beforehand to ask check in time and the receptionist said she would make sure our rooms were ready for us. They were ready. I was really surprised just how lovely the room was. It had everything we needed including an ironing board and iron. It was cosy and warm which was appreciated as we had been soaked through with rain sightseeing. The hotel isn’t in Blackpool it is in Cleveleys which is a fair way out of Blackpool centre but the tram stop is 5 minutes from the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and we had a well stocked tea tray. The hotel has lots of character and I would recommend it if you want to stay away from the centre of Blackpool. If we come to Blackpool again we will definitely stay there again.
When we arrived we managed to get one of about 10 car park spaces but we entered through the bar at the back which wasn’t very nice. The hotel is situated above the bar on the first floor and once we went upstairs it was like being in a different world. I cannot comment on the breakfast as it is not included in the room rate.
The location for our needs is perfect
We returned to our room after an evening out and all the lights were on, the ceiling fan was on and also the TV which was on full blast. Non of our belongings had been touched in the room, reported it to the staff who couldn't shed any light on the matter. Very odd a little unnerving.
Breakfast superb, lovely full English with black pudding if you wanted it!!! Friendly, helpful staff.
Pleasant staff and comfortable.
A bit dated, could do with an update
