The breakfast was great, the view from our room was pretty, and we loved being so close to the mall. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The furnishings were outdated and just didn't feel very clean. The carpet had a funky odor and so did the sofa, so unfortunately we never really enjoyed using the living room space in our suite.
The breakfast was excellent and the location The room was cold and I put on the heat but it didn't work.
Bacon for breakfast. This is a hotspot for kids sports. The kids outnumber the adults and are not being supervised. Whether it's running around the halls, taking over the pool, the manager's reception, the breakfast, etc.
The staff was nice and parking was free. We prefer to stay at the Embassy Suites downtown, but couldn't get a room there. It was nice being so close to Washington Square . The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Really didn't like the atrium feel to the hotel. Also the swimming pool was small and old and right off of the elevators, which seemed a bit odd. It just isn't as nice as your downtown hotel.
The facilities and location were prime. There was additional fees for basic TV and wireless service.
Kids running down hallway all night. Finally yelled told them to be quite at 1:30am!! Not nearly as nice as ad says
You could have all meals at the facility. Close to everything A bit dated, but looked like upgrades were in progress
The staff and remodeled facility was nice. Breakfast and managers reception is good. Price was a bit high for the hotel which I rate as a 3 star at best. I would not stay again unless the rooms were closer to the $125 mark at $185 it was way too expensive for this place
Quiet, convienient, clean, enjoyable. I left an item and still have not received a phone call Letting me know they are retuning it.
Clean, nice, convenient location, great ammenaties, clean pool and hot tub. Great place overall. Couldnt bring a soda from front desk into restaurant even thow bought from same place. Not that big of a deal but only complaint...

It's much better than a three-star hotel No
Love the decor and cleanliness, nice indoor pool and exercise room. The room wasn’t stocked with enough toilet paper and towels
comfortable bed placed in a room with a joining door to next room. Although non-smoking the people were smoking, doing drugs, and loud obscene, foul language till 2 am. We were concerned for our safety to complain. Extremely disappointed with our stay.

Clean, quiet and convenient No, great experience
Size and decor Staff not too friendly
The bed was really comfy and the room was huge! Also the Keurig was a plus! No
They had great holiday decorations. Fabulous service. The accompanying restaurant was also great. Live piano and fireplaces for New Years. We would love to go back. Day after New Years bar / restaurant closed at 8pm! Wish they would have put up a warning sign.
Great service, beautiful bar and dining was perfect with excellent prepared food!!!! There wasn't anything to dislike !!!!!!!!!!!!
Loved the food and the bird sounds I'm the hallways! The staff was stellar! Sunday breakfast wad good but cold.
Super friendly staff; excellent restaurant and nice indoor pool area. Rooms are large and clean, decorated like a log cabin or a mountain lodge. Very good value for a low fee. The birdsong in the hallways is a little cheesy. The suburban industrial park area is not very attractive.
Excellent food. The beer selection could expand. The shuttle service had limited hours that did not work with my schedule and forced me into a costly alternative for airport pickup.
location to freeways, near Gustavs Restaurant & Red Lobster; quiet beds too high off floor; leather chair too "sloppy-sitting", no back support for middle aged guests
Good location for zoo, shopping, and dining. Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast on Sunday. Monday breakfast was a bit lacking. It would be nice to have more fresh fruit.
Staff competent and friendly
I was upgraded to a suite so I was very happy with the accommodations. The hotel is in the process of converting to a Doubletree and there is construction in the common areas. The breakfast was awful. The pancakes were cold. There wasn't any syrup. The selection of food was very limited.
pool area spacious rooms
Great price. Excellent housekeeping. WiFi did not work. No refrigerator or microwave. Very crowded for breakfast.
Close to freeway. Not much more good about it. Very dated. Smelled bad. Toilet didn't flush without holding handle down. Air conditioning ran all night and room was still very hot. His motel is past it's prime and I do not recommend staying here.
The shower and the bed were both very nice. The staff was nice, and the location was convenient. I was randomly charged $20 for a pet fee for a dog. We don't own a dog. We caught the charge early and had it cancelled, but double check your bank account after you leave.
The staff was very accommodating when we were checking in - we arrived before check in and they let us check in early. The walls were thin and our neighbors had young children that were quite loud.
Everything.. Staff was great and pleasent. The location was a bit difficult to find or butter yet to get too!!
The staff was friendly and willing to help. On the Kayak website, it said that this was a 4 star hotel and it is clearly not to that standard. It is at best a 3 star hotel and closer to a 2.5 star. The hotel was old and run down and in desperate need of a renovation. Due to its condition, I thought that the value was low (too expensive for what you get).
Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Beds were warm and comfortable room was clean. It was clearly and older hotel and the staff said they were ready for of a renovation no refrigerator in room, when I mentioned this on departure the front desk apologized and said if we mentioned this after arrival they would of brought one to our room. Was hard to control temp in room no thermostat just on/off manual up/dwn control for heat.
The view Dirty bathrooms, dirty carpets, mismatched furniture, noisy lobby and public areas, broken air conditioner, staff in dirty dishevled street clothes, carpets rippling in the hallways, horrible paint jobs, bad food at high prices, no help to move out of stifling hot room to a room with functional air, got locked out of room on third trip to transfer to new room
Available for last minute reservation Unhelpful staff, poor location, very noisy.
Nice area Undergoing renovation that is much more than described. The hotel should not be open.
Great spot. Fun walking to a couple bars and restaurants. Solid Hotel. I'll be Back. My breakfast Rocked!!
We brought our dogs on this trip ... three large dogs. The staff didn't bat an eye and in fact came around the counter to pet our dogs and gave them each a treat.
Pillows and blankets were feathers. No water in the rooms. Need water bottles in the fridge.
Bed. Size of room. Alarm at 12:03am. High cost of food. No wifi in room.
We had stayed for four nights during this period of time we had hosted our daughter's wedding reception in the discovery ballroom. Undoubtably the most impressive aspect was the incredible service from every Hilton representative. With our individual party the hotel also had the PTA, Fireman Convention, a motorcyle convention and another small wedding. Even with all of this going one we had felt like our celebration was the only one-impressive! The sound of the trains.
Location close to downtown and nice park. Parking should be free.
Comfortable beds, pillows. Staff very friendly. Breakfast selection limited, although staff for breakfast area excellent keeping up with everything. Website stated hotel updated, however, the carpet was the only obvious new updating we observed in our room. Noise level very high @ this hotel for traffic, other rooms, etc. even on different floors Very basic hotel, no extra amenities.
Beautiful common area, great price point. Starbucks and other eaterys within strolling distance. Rooms are nearing a point where a remodel would be necessary. You are in Beaverton, and in a business park -- so don't expect much from the neighborhood. Except for the Starbucks mentioned above.
Very well maintained and super clean Nothing bad to say
Price but no bargain. I will pay more and stay elsewhere next time. Non smoking rooms that still reeked of smoke. Cigarette Butts everywhere outside. Loud trucks starting up and idling on and off all night lo g all night long. Car alarms going off. People talking loudly. Didn't get an hour of consecutive sleep.
Comfortable Asked for more than 2 towels, got 3, really
The room itself was great. Clean, comfortable, and cozy and certain amenities are already in the room. I didn't have to phone down for an iron and iron board. (Lots of other places make you do that.) Every staff member we encountered was friendly. The pool and workout room were great bonuses. The best bonus was the breakfast. Every morning there was a full breakfast available that every member of my family enjoyed. Even the coffee was more than decent (and I can be picky about coffee.) Another bonus, the whole building is smoke free. The ONLY thing was some guests were stompers and you could hear them stomp past. Not great but not a big deal. Its not like we ever heard our neighbors conversations. It may have been just these particular guests. I don't blame the hotel for this.
Place was clean and bedrooms were very nice. Room service was always late in the day.
For a visit to Portland we chose this nearby hotel because we always like the idea of a suite and this seemed like a great fit. I had some hesitation later wondering if being in Vancouver was going to be a problem, but on the contrary found it a great location for our various jaunts around the area. This greatly improved my opinion of a Best Western (Plus) property. We received excellent service, the breakfast was well above average, the bed very comfortable, and the suite very roomy. For my money, and from my experience this was a great choice.
Good Breakfast. Clean rooms. Helpful staff.
Comfortable cleanness breakfast
The night staff really went from and beyond to help us with my baby. Also the rooms were comfortable and breakfast was pretty good.
Cleanliness Kids running in hall and slamming doors
The hotel was very clean. Friendly staff and rooms were updated and very comfortable. Breakfast was a plus for us as a family. Breakfast had several items to choose from. Also walking distance to the mall and restaurants. They definately need more staff at the breakfast lounge. The one lady had a hard time keeping the food items refilled. People were either waiting for one thing or the other. She was trying hard to keep up. I saw customers even offered to help clean the tables seeing she was running to and from the kitchen.
front desk staff, cookies, and breakfast. price good. also, took my dog! n/a
We found the staff very friendly and the room clean and well maintained. We were able to bring our Grandchildren over and let them play in the indoor pool. They loved it. They did have an issue with a guest down the hall. The manager had to come up and ask them to leave. Not really a bad thing though as we saw they quickly took care of issues.
Nothing. Was very loud and did not sleep at all
The outdoor scenery is beautifully maintained! Sufficient easy parking. Lobby is very welcoming! Staff is very friendly and helpful. You would never know this place was dog-friendly its super clean! The rooms were spacious, clean and quiet with comfy beds. Bathrooms were clean and well supplied. Breakfast has a nice set-up with many options to choose from. This hotel is truly an ideal place to stay! We will definitely stay here again!
Relatively inexpensive Very loud, right next to freeway. Continental breakfast ran out of some items pretty early every day. Bed and pillows very stiff.
Great breakfast buffet, cookies and coffee complimentary in evening. Beds were soo cozy! No hot tub
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the complementary breakfast was very good. Every day there were some hot options in addition to the regular breads, pastries, and cold cereals. The location is convenient, with easy access to routes I-5 and 205. The room in general was very worn and shabby, and not dirty, but not really clean either. Our room was very dark with inadequate lighting and electrical outlets. It was almost impossible to read in the room, especially after sundown. There are too few lights, no overhead lighting, and the lamps are ill positioned. Moreover, if you have more than a couple of phones or computers that need recharging regularly, you have to get creative to find enough outlets to plug in the rechargers - such as unplugging the lamps which makes the room darker. Parking at the LaQuinta in Salmon Creek was WOEFULLY inadequate. If you return to the hotel after 9 pm, good luck. There are businesses on each side of the hotel that have signs posted that hotel guests' cars parked in their lots will be towed at owners expense, suggesting this has been a long-standing problem. There are too few parking spots for the number of rooms at the hotel, and not all guests are considerate about parking carefully to fit as many cars in the lot as possible, so some spaces were wasted every night. The staff had no work-around suggestions, so get in early or be prepared to wing it.
I love the ambience when you first come in to check in, the front seat last was so welcoming and the cookies are the best lol specially after a long and tiring drive it's appreciated. The breakfast is wonderful knowing you have a hot rest meal to start the day and the lady assigned very accommodating like a mom. I'd love to stay there again. Thanks for having us.
Comfortable beds, clean facility, provides breakfast. Traffic noise from nearby I-5, pool closed.
We hadn't stayed at La Quinta before and were very impressed with the value. If you want a really comfortable bed and shower, this is the place. You have a microwave and frig in the room, the room is large and they are pet friendly. A full breakfast buffet in the morning was not what we were expecting and it was truly fabulous, included in the room charge. We'll be back. It's pretty minor, but there weren't too many amenities in the bathroom, such as lotion. There was shampoo and soap, but that was it. There were stains on the main room and wallpaper was peeling a bit in the bathroom. Nothing that would affect your stay, but just a few things we noticed.
Quiet and location comforter inside the duvet is too warm for summer. Hilton needs to rethink their bedding.
If you had your records straight, you would know that I cancelled this reservation. So I didn't stay there. Bookings.com screwed up my reservation, so the hotel didn't have it recorded. So I had no place to stay. So I went home instead. Please do not pass along this rating of the hotel. I'm sure it is fine. I just didn't have a chance to stay there because of your booking error. Also, you really shouldn't have Poor as the default. I didn't change any settings there, so this will come through as a very negative review, when it should be a review about your service, not the hotel.
Comfort of room No complimentary breakfast.
Staff excellent No bar Food at breakfast very average and cold
What I liked about my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was that the room is very clean and comfortable.
Plenty of parking. Quiet stay as this is mostly business folks. Always 2 people at the front desk. The bathroom door will collide with the front door, bad design.
Everything was wonderful in terms of the amenities and quality of of the amenities. We did not sleep at all. We could hear movement from the other rooms around us and heard everybodies toilets fluch throughout the night. We did not sleep at all!
Pay the few extra dollars to stay at this hotel. It was beautiful! The rooms were clean and upscale, friendly service, great breakfast, near freeway, great wi-Fi, comfortable sitting area, nice beds. Loved it! Wish we had stayed here all three nights of our Portland visit instead of saving a few bucks and staying in dumps the first two nights. Don't love the pet accommodations. Our office chair haf quite a bit of dog fur over it.
This isn't up to the usual DoubleTree standard. Noisy location right next to highway and a gas station, sink and tub drains were both clogged with dirt in tub upon arrival, but worst yet... No one seemed to care and it went unfixed without an apology at checkout.
The hotel was just what we wanted, close to our Grandchildren, clean, comfortable and quiet. The two young women working at the front desk the afternoon we checked in were very kind. We had planned on visiting our children and grandchildren only to find they had become ill and we wouldn't be able to see them that day. The front desk gals were very sweet and sympathetic and allowed us to check in a bit early. Fantastic customer service. We will stay here again.
The staff are friendly. It's clean. It's cheap. What more do you want for the price that you're paying...a four star hotel? If you want all that "extra" than PAY EXTRA if you're "fancy". Otherwise, for a clean place to stay for $50 bucks this will do.
Bed was soft and room was clean, very affordable Next to strip club
I've stayed in many of these and I'm usually not expecting much, but the king room was actually really comfy and clean for a decent price. I hope they keep this trend up.
I like the location Room needed to be cleaner and air conditioner wasn't working properly.
I did not like the fact that if you wanted to connect to the wifi you had to pay for it. Would I have realized that before I got there I most likely would not have stayed as most hotels offer it for free.
Very pleasant & efficient location with an excellent level of services and helpful frontdesk. Maybe too far away from Portland with difficult traffic conditions to reach downtown.
First of all, the staff was fantastic! They were very friendly while we were there and then went above and beyond to ship our forgotten shoes to us. We also really enjoyed the location. It was close to the freeway and we especially liked walking to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner and to Elmer's Restaurant for breakfast. The beds very very comfortable. The kids had fun playing in the pool. They loved the basketball hoop that was there. Thank you for a great visit!
The staff was amazing. Frenando was awesome. We were given a room upon checkin that was clean and very comfortable. On the second night of our stay however we were in a room right above their banquet rooms and they had an event scheduled with a live band. The band was so loud it vibrated the floor. Frenando was very nice and move our room to a room that we couldn't hear any of the noise. He was very polite and expressed his sincere apologies for the mix up because those rooms were supposed to be blocked due to the event. Also we ended up extending our reservation and adding two nights since the hotel staff was so great.
almost perfect it was not clear that our booking included breakfast for me and my 2 collegues
The facility was better than I expected.
Dinning facility should have later hours
Rooms where clean and comfortable, the saltwater pool and hot tub was awesome.
My number one concern staying at a hotel is its cleanliness. This hotel was very clean and the bed comfortable. All staff interaction were friendly and courteous. The staff in the cafe were particularly friendly. It fit our needs very well. The environment is a bit sterile, more fitted to a business class and not a family. We all thought the pictures on the wall in our room were a bit "creepy".
It was an awesome relaxing stay Loved the comfortable beds and the pool and hot tubs were the best! I loved that there was a bar and restaurant
Quiet hotel, despite being near a highway. Nice breakfast, many healthy options. Friendly and helpful staff. Hilton pre-check in.
I didn't stay here! I stayed at the Aladdin. J I didn't stay here! I stayed at the Aladdin. J
We moved hotels. Very dirty. Smells. Found much better options close by. Too many problems to list. Except front desk staff were very pleasant.
Cheap. Close to a freeway. Staff is very friendly. A/C works great. Pillows were hard and lumpy. Kinked or necks. But didn't distract too much from the stay.
Cigarette smoke smell in room. Uncomfortble bed and pillows.
clean simple rooms for a good rate, micro-fridge is A+ amenity large flat screen TV (but not great channel selection) quirky front desk staff, TV reception poor , no ABC or PBS and only HBO 2, not main HBO, annoying front desk staff. Housekeepers ignore DND sign, but they are nice ladies. don't even bother with the breakfast, it's only open till 9.am even on weekends and it's not worth anything.
Very clean, comfortable, and convenient to shopping. The front desk clerks were super-helpful and printed out several maps to help me get around Beaverton.
The young man christopher that worked the first night i stayed was very polite and professional and accommodated my family and i as well as he could. It was expensive in comparison to the quality, the other staff members were rude and unsettling, the rooms and over all environment of the hotel was dirty and uncomfortable and the door locks did not work my family and I felt unsafe the entire time.
We liked the pool, it was clean and heated and very enjoyable. We liked that they had smoking rooms. The male front desk employee on Fri july 19 was nice and very helpful. The bed was really uncomfortable and the bedding was old and warn with holes in it. The female front desk employee was rude and had no interests in helping anyone, she worked on sat morning July 20th. The breakfast bar didn't meet my expectations of a bed and breakfast.
Meth addicts kept me up in the morning smoking outside my window.
