The hotel was very comfortable with great spa facilities, friendly staff and excellent food.
Friendliness of staff
Pleasant helpful staff, nice but compact rooms. Great location for skiing.
The stay was really excellent! We enjoyed the room, the staff, sauna and hammam facilities. Breakfast was included in price (big one with croissants, cereals, baguetts and meat ocassionally) and the hotel is situated near to the navette bus stop. Good location according to restaurants, swimming pool and winter ski slopes.Hotel is in savoyard style (wood and hearts). Nothing, everything okay.
Clean, cosy room. Convenient ski-lockers. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Perfect for what I wanted for a ski-weekend. The receptionist carrying on a long conversation with a friend while we were waiting to be helped.
The design of the rooms, internet connection and a great bar. I was disappointed for a 4 star that there was no freshly squeezed juice at breakfast and it was not easy to get into the room with the card entry.
The staff were incredibly helpful and understanding, willing to help. Modern, well appointed. Our bed was like a board - very very firm. If not for that the comfort rating above would have been excellent
Hugely convenient for ski slopes and very central in village. Friendly, English speaking staff. Comfortable and very warm. Ski rental in basement, and efficient security in ski room. Not far off the claimed 4 stars Very hot at night. Soem noise from surrounding bars
Prices of extras. Minibar empty. Furniture too "design"
Very good kitchen, good spa (not big) and pleasant hotel Relative small spa for so many rooms
The location was excellent and the staff extremely helpful. The rooms were adequtely sized and had a lovy bathroom and separate toilet. The spa was great too. Didn't try the food but the bar was very good - bloody Mary's great! We had a superior room and a standard for the children - I couldnt tell the difference really so not worth the extra money. Car parking underneath the hotel was expensive -but then everything was - as should be expected in the resort!
The hotel is beautiful, the staff are friendly and the rooms are extremely stylish. The best ski hotel I have ever stayed in - will definitely be coming back.
Good location for skiing as very central Expensive, no pool
1.location-it's really very comfortable; restourant The Paul is not bad 2.The hotel overpriced strongly!
the staff were very nice and helpfull and the location for the grand motte glasier was excellent
Very cosy, great location - right up the top of the valley, great views and able to ski from the door. There was limited choice of food but I really liked what there was. Tiny sit down bath was too small.
the ride to the top of La Grande Motte on the cable car the town wasn't much
Its a basic hotel, however clean, good food, rooms are for European standard quite comfortable for a 2 star hotel. Staff was excellent and location absolutely superb. Ski in ski out! For those who are a little budget conscious, this is an excellent choice.
the location-very good for ski, near the lifts the food and the cold rooms
Great location, great staff, very functional for skiing, simple but good food Too expensive
Very good ski in/out location,on the slope but centrally in Tignes Val Claret so close to all amenities ,bars, restaurants, ski rentals etc.Nice ,friendly staff.Good value for money budget accomodation.Breakfast, snack and dinner sufficient for the roomprice paid. Thin walls ,poor acoustics of the hotel, one can hear diverse actions undertaken at night in adjoining rooms.
Very nice and gentle staff, excellent position for skiing or for a walk in the village. Rooms confortable with a nice view on the mountains. Must be a 3 stars at minimum.
it was a nice stay there, staff was friendly and helpful, room was luxurious
good and friendly service. my dog was allowed in the hotel which I appreciated very much. Large flat screen tv, nice bathroom, very comfortable beds. I can recommend this hotel any time. Pity the restaurant was closed when I stayed (september 2010) apparently it is vey good. Good breakfast. Cannot think of anything negative!!!
We had a good clean and comfortable three bed room with plenty of space. The buffet breakfast was well laid out and we enjoyed our stay. No
Staff were very helpful and it was kitted out very nicely It was too hot
Beutiful decor and wonderful staff.
Nice bar, good setting, modern rooms/furniture Poorly designed - no ski lockers, no WC on the ground floor where the bar is located (you have to take a lift to the basement!), no mini-bar.
Central to village shops, restaurants and five minute walk to ski lifts. Contemporary designed interior with comfortable rooms and great bath and shower room. Restaurant was a disappointment with no change over the week to a very limited dinner menu and the one time we tried it the meal was poor.
I just finished a week in France with my daughter. Five of the nights were spent in the Alps. We both agreed that Hotel Ormelune was the best hotel of the trip. Val d'Isere is a gorgeous place and this is a great hotel to stay in while there.
Nice hotel, nicely located centrally in town. Lots of space for clothes. Big room with nice view over the city center.
Very 'Retro' and modern. Convenient for skiing, Clean and spacious room No Information in room...Tv. Village guide , room service etc. Too hot, no eggs, ommelette etc for breakfast. No mini bar or water in room. no tea or coffee, No info on hotel facilities.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Modern contemporary refit of hotel. Central location close to main lifts and nursery pistes.
I found this hotel to be fabulous. The staff were very nice and the location was right in the center of town.
Very friendly owners, fantastically decorated, and super stylish. A very, very cool hotel.
