hotel.was quiet and relaxing room was quiet and comfy
Rooms and leisure centre
The room standards were excellent and the beds were so comfy!! And the spa and gym facilties were great! Nothing, we were very pleased with everything.
Staff were very helpful even when I arrived very late. Room was spotless, quiet and comfortable. I got a great nights sleep. Breakfast is also very good. I have no complaints.
Pleasant and welcoming staff. Good but plain food if somewhat pricey. Room comfortable but price may be ahead of national average. Nothing
This hotel when we finally found it was great, all facilities were there, the staff were very helpful with our numerous inquiries We were looking to stay in Tipperary and thought this hotel was much closer, we were using a Sat Nav to find the hotel and the directions are not sufficient, all it gives you on your site is Horse & Jockey Hotel it should give a street listing as well as Town. This hotel is too far from the nearest town
I liked the overall decor and ambience although as a non -horse racing person I found the theme a bit overpowering - you couldn't escape it anywhere. A lack of explanation of the technology in the room - this meant that I had the rather noisy air conditioning on all night which was very cold anyway.
very modern room, very comfortable bed. first person I met at desk in the morning very pleasent. good view from our room. I felt the front desk was not properly staffed. First person I met on desk, a male, was very sharp, not pleasent. He also gave instructions for our room very quickly and I felt he didn't wish to repeat his directions., did not cater for food allergies. I was very disappointed with breakfast menu, poor choice..
The hotel was of 5 star plus standard. The staff weee extremely friendly and helpful. The food was glorious .I will be going again.
the food was absolutely beautiful and could not be faulted. We travelled with 2 other people who were on the supervalu break and were shocked at the difference in the two bedrooms. My bedroom was new, bright and modern, while their was old - not reflective in your website. I would also ask that one of your bar staff learns some manners and realise that tourist are contributing to his salary. He not only insulted our party, but was heard to insult a number of other guests. I feel that this may be his sense of humour, however it was not taken to be funny and has actually soured this part of our holiday.
In a very scenic spot facing Galtee Mountains. Walks nearby . Large terrace with seating, great views.
Beautiful setting with amazing views Nothing
Nice Hotel with very friendly helpful staff
It is a home from home with very friendly owners, a large family room plus a TV lounge and a quiet room to relax in. Also the welcoming tea + cake and glass of wine were well appreciated. The breakfast is very good, thoroughly reccommended. The decor of the room is not to my taste
A warm, comfotable B&B with wonderful hosts. We had a family size room with two double beds which was quite spacious. Very close to the Glen of Aherlow and the Rock of Cashel.
Service and frendlyness is second to non None
the breakfast was the best thing The room felt damp and dirty and the bathroom also unclean and not ensuite. The bed was very uncomfortable with springs through the mattress.
My son and I loved this b and b. The personal touch was fantastic!!We were to share a twin room however the owners gave my son a room on his own at no extra cost!!! Very impressive!!
Very welcoming. Inviting, charming B&B. Great breakfast and afternon tea. Easy parking.
hospitality was great. felt comfortable and they were really good with the kids. Loved the atmostphere and kids rated the best B&B they have stayed in so far. They have a big back yard with lots of places for kids to hide and play.
Just stayed over one night as it was a business trip, very happy, warm and comfortable, friendly. Slept like a log. Excellent!
Very welcoming staff, clean and spotless, rooms adequite - looked good, maybe a bit "gody" though basic and comfortable.
Spacious , lovely room; immaculately clean, lit candles eveywhere added warmth; hospitable, helpful staff; very nice breakfast; free wireless internet;good value. No.
Good value for money, nice setting
top quality with a laid back feel
Efficiency and courtesy of staff
plenty of space for family, and great privacy in lodge, no noise at night , children loved the pool.
breakfast was excellent
i liked the way the staff were very attentive without being overpowering
Clean & if you had time to make use of the leisure centre that would be a plus. Massively overpriced - €150 per night & this does not even include breakfast. Never again!
Excellent standard of rooms, location and staff...
Well presented room - staff friendly on arrival Quality of food in restaraunt at dinner and breakfast not quite of the standard I would expect from the hotel - service in the morning particularly poor - staff seemed more focussed on preparing for some corporate business type event. Reception staff at checkout badly organised - your receptionist clearly couldn't operate the card payment system - my card was rejected twice even though there was nothing wrong with it and I have ended up paying twice - now in dispute to reclaim.
i rang for room service at 4am, as the menu said it was 24hr service, however it took about 3 phone calls to your staff in order to convince him to give me the food, and then i was made come to the bar to collect it
Convenient location within walking distance of most all of Dublin, the age of the building gives great character but was very accommodating and comfortable. On our two week trip to Ireland and England this is the only place we spent two nights. Great assistance from the staff.
Fantastic staff, nice in town location, within a very short walk to Cahir Castle and Swiss Cottage. Very clean. Great value... especially for families as they have nice family rooms. Wonderful full breakfast for residents included. Lovely gardens to roam around in, nice parking on site. nothing that I wasn't pleased with.
A comfortable, clean quiet and good value for money hotel with a good central town location.
Very friendly and helpful staff. A great central location in town with easy accessible car parking. When I checked into my room, it was quite cold. I mentioned it to the receptionist and was told that the central heating was on a time setting and my rooms heating would go on at 8pm.
Room was spacious, very clean and extremely comfortable. The food in the Bistro was excellent. The location was good for exploring.
Staff ,Breakfast and the Irish Bar. food very good. Rooms could do with an update. After asking for our bill to be paid in Euros we were told that this was fine, but on checking we discovered that it had been converted on the day of leaving, very dissapointing.
Nice bar. It was full of locals, they did good food and had a trad session later in the night. I don't think you should repair a bath tub with old duct tape.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean and not too modern. I had been there before and would go back for short breaks etc. I also like the in-house music because you can have a drink and not worry about getting back to the hotel. Overall it's a nice friendly hotel. No I would'nt have gone back there if I was not happy or had some complaints. Keep doing what works, if it's not broke don't fix it. I have read other reviews and they are all good and you can't please everyone all the time.
Convenient for the reason I was in Cahir which was for my nephews funeral No lift, the door to the bathroom was very noisy and I am currently undergoing Chemo treatment and my sleep pattern is not great but waking my husband up with a creaky door was annoying. The shower was tepid in the morning and I had to get my husband to turn off the shower as the dial was so stiff and hard to turn. Having to chase the batteries around on the floor from the tv remote control as there was no back on it was the final straw.
