Shower facilities were basic and water cold. Much better and happy to pay extra 5 per room to have private facilities
We were travelling to Courchevel for a ski holiday and the baladins hotel was a great place to stay overnight so we could complete our journey the next morning, excellent price and breakfast The price and breakfast
Cleanliness and low cost. Poor showers.
The lack of an en-suite shower, however this is acceptable given the tariffs charged. The room was poorly lit.
Clean and functional Shower in corridor and no decent sized towels
It was away from the main road but still in the middle of town so handy. There was a car park. There was a car park but it was quite small and tricky to get in and out of at busy times.
The room was quietly located overlooking the courtyard that doubled as a secure parking area. The room was good-sized and tastefully furnished. The bathroom was modern with an excellent shower. There was reliable free Wi-fi in the room. Restaurants were within easy walking distance. Only minor points, but there was the occasional sound of passing trains, but not loud enough to prevent sleep. Cars starting up in the courtyard may disturb late risers.
Price for family room for 4 persons only 75 EUR! Located in the city center. Too close to railway. A lot of trains pass at night. Do not sleep with windows open.
Well situated, and on site free parking. Rooms very bright and pleasant. Good value for money
Great welcome, very clean. Food fantastic. A real find.
We used this hotel on our way further south to France. We stayed in Azalées one night and it was excellent ! Nice and very clean hotel room. Very friendly staff, nice dinner, good breakfast. There maybe could be a little more choice of bread during the breakfast.
Worthwhile clean little place while touring vineyards in Rhone. Good location and they have parking.
Central to all local shops and facilities, and the room was clean. Breakfast was very good also.
Very well situated for our long trip from northern France to southern France. Tournon sur Rhone unexpectedly nice little town by the Rhone. Good budget hotel.
We loved our stay at the hotel. It was clean and had a good atmostphere. It was close to the river. Close to shopping. No.
It was within walking distance of the river and town centre
Very comfortable small hotel set in a quiet location within walking distance of both Tournon centre and Tain l'Hermitage. Hotel easily accessible by car from main road network and with secure parking. Would make a good centre for those wishing to explore Rhone valley and its vineyards. Staff very welcoming, helpful and friendly.
Good location for breaking our journey.
Quiet clean friendly service lacked facilities. A bit far from town.
Reception staff could speak some english.
The locked and easily accessible car park; the helpfulness of staff; the quietness of the immediate environment. Not too easy to access the hotel from the main road on first arrival - but we shall know next time!
Helpful friendly staff, clean pleasant rooms, comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended
Staff very helpful and friendly: great jam for breakfast Very simple rooms in dull roadside location; practical but not pretty
Convenient location, easy to find, and walking distance into twon and restaurants by the river. Clean, modern and well-equipped rooms, with air-con. Good breakfast. No - everything was fine.
Very clean Hotel! Very friendly staff! Private parking area. Ein sehr sauberes Hotel! Sehr freundliches Personal! Privatparkplatz. Ganz gutes Frühstück. Only french tv. Poor ac, when it is really warm outside. Some staff speak french, only. Nur französisches Fernsehen. Die Klimaanlage ist etwas schwach für heiße Tage. Einige Mitarbeiter sprechen nur französisch.
sports facilities and views the staff were surley, restaurant staff very poor, waited almost an hour before even offered a drink nevermind a menu at dinnerrooms were very shoddy with paint peeling off the walls..
Convenient stop over en route to ski resort
Two Adults, two children (11&3) happily stayed one night in one room (double + single) on way to slopes from Geneva. Reasonable rate for good comfort
outdoor (pool, soccer field, tennis, ping pong,...) and indoor services (sauna, gym, ..). Mountains view from the hotel.
The staff was extremely personable and the restuarants were very good. The interior of the hotel could be updated
The hotel was good basic and clean. We ate in the Pizzeria and the food was very good and not too expensive. We sat in the bar which was extremely pleasant.
Service, standard on the exclusive rooms terrible food in restaurant
Le Roma was a stopping off place for us on our way to a ski holiday. As such, it fitted the bill, though a rather rambling ugly building right by the road. Our rooms at the back were quiet with rural outlook. Rooms clean and adequate for our group of 10 adults and teenagers. For the price, continental breakfast could have been included.
The room was to small, when we arrived there was a car outside 0ur hotel that had a broken window, and the doors were left open, and we didn't feel safe stopping there,so we left early the next morning.
Breakfast was unexpectated - coffe, chocolate, juice, croissaites, fruit, yogurt.... Clean room, little but good.
Locaion, cost Showing its age. a bit untidy.
Breakfast was ok for such a low level hotel.
Low price. No air conditioning. Tiny bathroom.
Ease of Check in & helpfullness of staff Noise from other occupants, no soundproofing in the rooms.
Very friendly place Room very basic, a bit cold - but good for price.
low cost, free parking relatively far from center; very basic, but it's OK for this price
The staff was very helpful and the food was very good! i enjoyed my stay in Fasthotel Albertville! The hotel is kind of far away from the station, the location is at the border of the city but if your by car it doesn't bother you.
Staff excellent. On arrival no record of booking could be found, but staff soon re- arranged to find us a room. Rather a lot of disturbed nights due to noise from other guests (snoring, arriving and departing) also disturbed by wildlife on several occassions believe it or not trying to climb up window shutter. Actually saw animal which appeared to be type of polecat. Room rather small and poorly lit.
My wife and I stayed just overnight on our way from the South of France to the Geneva airport. We we blown away by the hospitality of the owner. Meals included local and homemade "artisanal"cuisine --- the evening meal was a highlight. The accommodations were excellent, "farmhouse chic", and meticulous maintained. All in a several hundred year old beautifully renovated farmhouse which before the French Revolution was a monastery holding.
Good value for very well presented hotel. Great food (if slightly expensive). Some excellent 'homemade' jams at breakfast in the garden (which you wouldn't know is so close to the main road).
Very nice, well designed hotel, with good professionals working there. The restaurant is awesome. Little bit far from Tain de L'Hermitage and Tournon, the cities that I wanted to visit. On the first night, internet services collapsed.
This was our second stay in 2010. We find the hotel very comfortable, impeccably maintained, and a very good value. The service is both friendly and correct; breakfast is delightful, befitting the Michelin starred kitchen of M Chabron. It is possible to have the full multi course chef's menu, but also to eat very well and much more lightly as well.
The service, the help, the location and the food. The rooms were very clean and comfotable Probably not having tea/coffee facilities in the room
Beautiful view through the window, well situated in center of the town, room was very nice and clean. You needed to look for the owner for some time to ask anything :)
Hotel with nice and comfortable rooms. Ideal for one night stay before starting your winter sport holiday. Close to main road. Hotel lobby is simple and cafe in the same building gives the hotel a shabby look, which doesn't give you a warm welcome. Very simple breakfast. Hotel staff and their "reservation system" are not very professional.
Easy to find from Motorway Breakfast included was somewhat misleading. Very burnt croissants and a jug of hot water and a teabag.
Stunning location with magnificent views of the upper Savoy valley. Lovely terrace on a summer's day. Situated in a quiet hamlet well off the beaten track! English not spoken nor understood.
Quit, nice view, good food, friendly staff
The manager recommended a good restaurant to have a dinner. No signs. We arrived at 8.30 pm while it was dark. There are no any signs of the hotel (either along the road or at the building). We spent 30 minutes trying to locate it.
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The room: spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast: delicious and plentiful. The service: wonderful, truly a labour of love. The location: beautiful, mountainside setiing, easy access to Albertville. Value for moey: best 70 Euro we spent.
very good and charmy hotel, the staff is very kind and the fod is simply delicious
quiet location, pleasant hosts and room lack of windows only a skylight
Beautiful house and setting. Lovely home-made yoghurt and apple juice for breakfast. The whole family were very welcoming and helpful to us. It was more like a Chambre D'Hote than a Hotel classification (not a criticism though). Very hot in summer as not much ventilation.
The Manager was very pleasant and helpful. Very good value. Nice rooms, very clean. Lovely breakfast with homemade produce.Stunning location.
Great natural foods breakfast Very warm in the Summer
Host very helpful and welcoming. Room was fantastic - very light and airy. Breakfast was great - good selection of local products. N/A
superb conversion oozes charm, fantastic homemade and local produce at breakfast
Size of room, WiFi Internet access, meal in restaurant
Excellent outside space to use. Nearby supermarket and town easily accesible.
The restaurant was much better than we thought at first and the ensuite was reasonably good. The staff we very helpful. It is a bit shabby out side and in the corridors, and there is no real lounge or bar area
Basic rooms, fresh clean sheets every day, clean shower/bathroom. Restaurant was excellent attracting local french customers as well as travelling guests. Local wines and traditional french menu ...tables outside under the pagola.. excellent service. Nothing pretentious, a genuine french establishment with friendly staff ideally situated for access to the Alps.
Close to town centre, easy access to ski resorts the next day
Very helpful owner/manager. Poor standard of accomodation and very noisy, plus no aircon
ease of access when arriving in town.
great food. rooms are basic but fine for overnight stay. Good value for money
Friendly staff, very clean room. Very creaky floors and we could hear every sound from the room above. Our room was above the front entrance and the door banged very loudly every time someone entered or exited.
Absolutely nothing. Room was drab with no curtains.Streetlight shone into the room all night.Location of the hotel is at a junction of 5-roads therefore very noisy if window open.Restaraunt was awful.Appalling inedible food which was sent back combined with extremely poor service. Breakfast minimal and definately not value for money.Generally a smelly ( linoleum solvent) overated establishment.
