It is a Formule 1, everything was as expected (minimum but cheap)
Still smoke smell in corridor breakfast too expensive for what it was
The hotel has improved a lot, they are disability friendly and helpful with my needs. The staff seem happier than last year.
There were noisy children running around unattended which wasn't restful.
The worst hotel in France. Right next to the Moreau. paper thin walls. Noisey drunk guests. Could not sleep.
Noises guests. Thin walls.
Nothing, this was dire.
For the third time in a row, F1 insulted me by giving me an invoice to 'Mr' Annajayne Harris. Once would be overlooked as a mistake, three times is just very rude and insulting. The place was a shambles. When I stayed before, in the summer I guess they kept it a bit better for the tourist trade, but it was awful this time. There were two toilets at the end of the corridor, one locked, and the other sealed shut, no notice on it. There were more further along, not clean. The shower I used in the evening wasn't clean, and the soap dispenser was empty. The sheet on the bed was stained with blood or rust or something else that colour. The WIFI didn't work at all, again! It seems that my complaint last time was ignored. There is a wifi symbol but no network connection, and diagnostics said it was not available from the router, it wasn't my computer or phone at fault as I was using different ones from last time. It vital that I had internet. In the morning, first thing and when I was still in bed, a member of staff knocked and then tried to let themselves in without waiting for an answer, even though checkout is not until midday, and this was early. No apology. The shower was filthy and the hairdryer wasn't working. There was no breakfast, although they claim to serve it until 9.30, at 8.45, there was no breakfast at the breakfast bar, it was all closed, another guest asked me where the breakfast was, and then where the telephone was to contact the manager, there was no phone on the desk to contact the manager, who appeared to be the same person who had barged into my room, and who was busy stripping beds in rooms rather than being at the desk or ensuring breakfast was available. Presumably she wanted to do all that and get gone early, which would be why she barged into my room first thing when I was in bed. Appalling.
That there was beds available
The hotel was so noisy, the beds super uncomfortable. Shower and bathrooms in corridors were shared and not clean. A miserable experience never to be done again
