Pros: The Sonora Oaks Best Western offers a squeaky clean and well maintained facility at a very competitive price. The staff, to a person, were pleasant and eager to make us as comfortable as possible. A full and well prepared breakfast served at the motel restaurant is included in the room rate. The motel is centrally located in the gold country foot hills. I have no complaints.
Pros: When are you going to ever get an elevator????? We've been staying here for 3 years, twice a year, for quasi-business/leisure and we're still waiting for an elevator.
We like the size of the King suite and the staff are very nice. Also love the Pine Tree restaurant. Food is always good and love the coupons.
Cons: Bathroom floor was never thoroughly cleaned while we were there. Saw the same dead bug on the floor all three days and the bathroom had a strange smell.
Pros: The stay includes a choice of 4 free breakfasts at the next door restaurant. If none of the 4 choices suit you, you get a $5 discount off any of their menu items. Good food, and a nice alternative to the usual free "breakfast" most places offer.,
Cons: The motel needs a re-fresh -- It's a little "tired."
Pros: Clean comfortable room
Cons: Ultra small and low toilet is a show stopper
Heater noise prevents getting a good nights sleep
Pros: Nice breakfast included for all members of the family.
Pros: Very personable staff, clean facilities, restaurant right in parking lot so no looking for food at 8 pm when we arrived, dinner and free breakfast were both very good and staff at restaurant were all very pleasant as well.
Pros: The free breakfast at the restaurant on the property.
Cons: I was hoping they would have a washer and dryer but did not.
Pros: Lounge and food
Cons: Lots of noise

Pros: The hotel has a small cafe next door - The Garden Cafe and their breakfast was terrific. Very nice, helpful staff, friendly atmosphere and the food was terrific. The $5 voucher from the Hotel went a long way!
Cons: The bathroom could have been a little cleaner - the floor needed a more thorough cleaning and there was a dirty hand towel left behind. Not huge but noticed.

Pros: Great staff, friendly and helpful...
Location to downtown was perfect for a walk before dinner.
Cons: Air conditioner worked too well...
Pros: A gold rush era building nicely adapted to modern use. For example the bathroom seems nicely modernized/updated but retains the quirky look of a bath added to a building that did not feature indoor plumbing when built. I would bet that no two rooms are configured alike. The breakfast room was originally a small bar and the decor is fascinating. The breakfast menu includes egg bake and coffee cake which gives it a B&B feel. My favorite part is sitting on the veranda in front of my room in a rocking chair looking out at the town and the opposing hillside. Very relaxing. Furnished with antiques but with a comfortable bed.
Pros: Right in Sonora. Walking distance to shopping and dining. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast included, cereal, breads, waffles, scrambled eggs casserole Ina quaint dining room with outdoor seating available.

Cons: Complimentary breakfast was terrible.
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Breakfast, the rooms need a deep remodeling
Pros: The historic feel to it.
Pros: The location is great, close to Jamestown, Sonora and the California caves.
Cons: The hotel is super old, the toilet didn't work and the lady gave me the plunger because the maintenance guy had gone home and either I do it or wait until 8AM the next day. Showering is terrible, the water either comes out ICE COLD or SCORCH BURN HOT.
Cons: Elevator Did Not Work

Pros: Very cute, nicely decorated, very clean.
Cons: There were no towles in our room. Otherwise, very nice.
Pros: The room was large & clean & remodeled? We will stay there again!
