Pros: great food, quiet relaxing great hosts comfy beds
Cons: nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Craig and Paul are fantastic hosts who find the perfect balance between being welcoming and hospitable without getting in your way. My partner and I loved the cottage - the bed, the fireplace, extensive game and movie selections, massive spa bath. A very romantic place to stay and the food is to die for. We will be back for sure!
Cons: Perhaps the kitchen in the cottage is a little outdated, but still very functional for a short or long stay. Hard to find any faults!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Library, restaurant, hosts were fantastic
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This retreat was absolutely incredible, we highly recommend it. We ended up arriving earlier because of the heavy rain and Craig and Paul straight away invited us in and recommended options of what we could do on a rare rainy day. The private room with a large spa, with a shared living space was very comfortable. The deck looking out onto the country side with a cup of tea was the perfect winter getaway. We were able to play their large collection of board games on their comfy couch outside as we watched the chickens, cows and dogs walk past. They even had an optional homemade dinner available, which was so delicious and convenient we ended up eating from Chef Paul over both nights. Special shout out to the pepper boy! They were both so kind, funny and welcoming with the 5 labs providing plenty of entertainment as well. We would happily go back to the perfect romantic getaway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A peaceful environment, with fantastic view.
Cons: Couldn't fault our stay, truly amazing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Craig and Paul were brilliant hosts! The location was stunning, so peaceful. We woke up in the morning to cute cows outside our window. The only regret is that we couldn't see a lot of stars because the moon was so bright! It was beautiful anyway. The breakfast was amazing, everything was delicious (thanks Paul!) and there were so many choices! We really enjoyed it and had a great stay, we'd love to come back again! :)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service. Friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful hosts. Stunning views in a great location. I am vegan and my partner gluten free, Paul were very caring accommodating our dietary requirements and our meals were Absolutely Beautiful. We loved our staying! Thank you very much
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were the only guests and were totally spoilt by Paul and Craig. A delicious dinner by the fire in the cosy lounge room, and amazing breakfast (made with fresh eggs from their own chooks) and all prepared by chef Paul. And did I mention the stunning views of Mount Warning and Springbrook National Park! Highly recommend this peaceful little gem.
Cons: Nothing!

Rainforest was absolutely beautiful and the walks were alot of fun. The orchard was my personal favourite, so peaceful. We only bumped into one other couple upon arrival and that was it! 9.7 Excellent
Pros: This was our third time at CCRR. This time, went directly there after long USA cross continental and then trans Pacific flights. It's a beautiful place with gorgeous private bungalows. Floor to ceiling windows give a feeling of being in the jungle while living in air conditioned comfort. It's not an exciting place, but it is relaxing and restorative.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My only regret was not staying longer! We can’t wait to come back to CCRR
Cons: The only thing missing was an oven, but the BBQ provided was more than sufficient. Cooking breakfast on the balcony, looking into the rainforest was very enjoyable.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing!! The owner was lovely and took us to our tent in the back of a tractor. The bed was so comfortable and heating blankets were amazing (super warm all night despite it being 1°C). They let us check out a bit later with no additional cost. Property is beautiful, surrounded by nature with lots of wildlife around (waking up to bird sounds, watching little wallabies hop around at sunset). So peaceful. Bbq was great and tent had all we needed. If you're in the area definitely stay here!!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Was expecting a better breakfast, but was still nice - one piece of toast each and fairly plain muesli with plain yoghurt
Cons: Breakfast - even just add a couple of eggs - nicer muesli
6.3 Good
Pros: location was gorgeous - views lovely as were wallabies grazing around property
Cons: Did not know we would have to leave our car and be transported through grounds down to room. Not great for someone with mobility issues. The breakfast was ridiculous - 1 piece of boring bread for toast. The whole setup looked and felt very tired.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Grant is the "quintessential inn keeper" of this beautiful rural establishment. The proximity to the city centre makes this the ideal stay for those wanting the best of both worlds. The accommodation and breakfast were first class and the menu selection for dinner was as good as any first class restaurant. Would highly recommend.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike except that I had to go home.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The excellent host. Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable. The breakfast is out of this world. The house and garden was perfect for relaxing.
Cons: Not much.. Grant would fix anything he could! It’s a house so you can expect to hear others and our room was on the street side so there was some road noise.. not a problem for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was wonderful especially the freshness of the produce.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Always a lovely stay in this comfortable hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were met in reception and were made to feel very welcome. The room was a good size, clean and had facilities for us to get our own breakfast and feel comfortable. It was near enough to town without being in the 'thick of things'.We were told that if we needed anything to just ask which made us feel very at ease. Would definitely stay again if ever we are in that area again.
Cons: Nothing.
7.9 Good
Pros: Loved the beds - VERY comfortable. The bathroom was one of the best I've seen - because it actually had a place to place your belongings instead of the floor. Small safe in the room. Updated decor - very nice.
Cons: The 3 steps leading up to the ground floor (which were full length of the building) were steep and awkward, I felt unsafe going up and down to retrieve luggage, (although there was a hand rail right at the end we could have used). Highway noise was audible.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Suprisingly very modern, very comfy beds, sheets, pillows. A great stay for $150.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room and friendly staff
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved how easy and well organised it was to check in and out. The beds where comfy, the room was spotless and modern. Highly highly recommend
Cons: Only thing that was a downfall was there was no hot water or it ran out halfway through having a shower so had to finish washing my hair in a freezing cold shower.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the most beautiful places we have stayed in. Already booked again. Our hosts Karen, John and family were the most friendly and welcoming people you could meet. Can't recommend them highly enough.
Cons: Nothing. It was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts Karen and John were welcoming and friendly. They made us feel a little spoilt!! The location is great - only 5 minutes from town, in an elevated position. Beautiful gardens and an inground pool. The unit was well set up. Everything is top gear, and the kitchen facilities and 'fridge were generously provided. Location is quiet and 'semi-rural'. You wake up to "farmyard' sounds in the morning, and bird calls during the day. This would rate as the best B&B you will see in many trips. Give it a go - you won't be disappointed!!
Cons: This is pretty minor - but a wall clock in the living area would be appreciated.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and wonderful facilities. The host was very hospitable and we wished we had been able to stay longer
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Very comfortable and private cabin, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. It's nice and close to Mt Warning and handy to Uki. It's a perfect spot to chill out and relax
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Warm and comfortable . It felt really nice
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely loved our night here and could have stayed longer. The Sun room was spacious and beautifully furnished, and it was great to be able to sit on the veranda outside the room and use the table and the hammock. We loved the garden kitchen (which had a large range of kitchen utensils and cooking options in a pretty setting) and the bathroom was luxurious. The host, Barry, was warm in his welcome and generous (the bottle of port in the sitting room was a great touch!).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property with pleasant gardens to explore. It was the perfect spot to stay before Mt. Warning hike. Barry and Judith were so welcoming, and we loved their friendly dog Boo too!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Tranquil atmosphere, comfortable bed, the hosts were awesome, kitchen had everything needed.
Cons: Didn’t like the gap under the bedroom door
5.0 Okay
Pros: Whilst the natural environs were lovely, it felt somewhat reminiscent of being on a school camp and Judith was somewhat reminiscent of a camp leader. A description of the location of the cabin on the property would have been beneficial. As it was not possible to park our car nearby and the walk up to it was steep and particularly difficult with my disability. Judith is an anti-smoker and quite fixated on the subject. I was not even allowed to smoke outside the cabin. I’m too old to be treated like a naughty teenager and shamed for smoking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the property, communication from the hosts and check in and welcome by Barry. Will be back for another stay
Cons: Everything was perfect!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming and accommodating hosts; clean rooms and comfortable stay! Beautifully located; and makes for a great holiday if you want to go slow, chill out and enjoy nature. A couple of notes for families wanting to use the studio room: - plenty of cooking utensils and pots etc so no need to drag a spare knife etc around - no oven; but there is a stove top and microwave - fridge is slightly bigger than a bar fridge, with a very small freezer tray in it; bonus is a Coles is only 10-15mins away, or lots of locally grown food for sale from farmers everywhere. Also plenty of hidden cafes and restaurants around (just note most seem to be closed or close early over the weekend) - no laundry facilities on site; there are Laundromats in Murwillumbah and Uki, for about $10 for wash and dry very big loads.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous location
Cons: N/a
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was beautiful and the room was spacious and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and communicated well when there was an unexpected issue - they even extended check out time.

7.9 Good
Pros: The location, the setting, the quirky movies, the log fire
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and house were fantastic - surrounded by remnant forest - so beautiful, atmospheric and peaceful. The visiting pademelons and birds were an absolute delight. The house was well set up with lovely provisions and helpful owners. There was plenty of space for three of us with a great layout and large bedroom. It was a bonus to have a wood heater but extra fire lighters and instructions would help those of us not used to them!
Cons: The main bed was fine but the extra beds weren't very comfortable for larger/older people. They would've been fine for little kids. Definitely needs an extractor fan in the bathroom - bedroom next door smelled a little mouldy. Could also use a warning note above the stove about using the oven mit for the saucepans.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quite surrounding.
Cons: The host is most caring. The neighbours (birds & vallabys) are incredibly friendly. Wish to stay longer. Good place for walks and see the many waterfalls in the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The attention to detail was fantastic. Full kitchen equipped with everything you’d have at home and more, a lovely breakfast tray, cosy lounge with wood fireplace, amazing grounds with outdoor fire and seating area, appropriate food to feed wildlife, board games, blankets and throw rugs, and just a relaxing and inviting atmosphere in a perfect location!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was comfy, great kitchen and lounge. Amazing location. Peaceful and serene. Amazing wildlife. Loved the outdoor fireplace.
Cons: Indoor potbelly fire didn’t seem to work properly, maybe needs a chimney sweep or we were not using it properly, additional instructions might have been useful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Accomodation was very secure & private
Cons: Nothing my daughter in law said the bed lounge wasn’t real comfortable but my bed was great
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Very nice house with a welcoming fire in winter Nice kitchen and all clean kangaroos in the morning to feed and really close to twin falls track
Cons: Really dark around the house at night, as in middle of the forest, easy to get lost, bring a torch
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location for relaxing, we loved the fire
Cons: The staff didn't interact with us much, did not come down to see us off at the end of our stay which would have been nice

The hostel is amazing, really big with lots of character, plenty of space, good size kitchen, tips of things to do in the area and generally perfect for what we wanted. One thing that makes this hostel even more awesome is the owner Tassie, who is a brilliant person; super friendly, kind and willing to help in any way he can. Also, the free ice cream in the common area every night at 9pm is a lovely touch to meet the other guests and have a good chat. If you are even contemplating hiking up Mount Warning (100% worth it), stay here, it is only a 15 minute drive to the car park and is the perfect place to rest up before and after. Thanks for the amazing stay Tassie! Josh

Pros: Was really happy with the accommodation upgrade it made our trip extra special. Was clean and cosy just what we were looking for

Pros: Location was peaceful with stunning views and the grounds were immaculately maintained. The owners and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was the restaurant was closed for the two nights we were there. I guess that means we will have to go back.

Pros: The staff we so welcome, such an amazing place
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast didnt happen. Mavis was shut. Location tho ios brilliant
6.3 Good
Pros: The setting of the cabin.
Cons: I had to ring an emergency number to find out where and how to access the cabin as they had forgotten to contact me with details and there was to be no-one on the property on our arrival. I was told I was being offered an upgrade. It turns out it was actually for the convenience of the business as they lock the gates to the main property where the cabin I had chosen was located. The cabin we stayed in was in a separate location, supposedly "secret". Whilst it was isolated and surrounded by bush, we nevertheless were inundated with cars and noise from other guests (whose cabin was also outside the locked main property but a considerable distance from us) during the afternoon and again in the morning of our departure. The bedding looked anything but fresh on our arrival and sure enough it wasn't. All but one of the pillows smelt of the previous users of the cabin. Thankfully my husband allowed me to use it, he turned his pillowcases inside out. A 2L plastic bottle of milk was left in the fridge for our arrival. It was laying on its side as the door was full of bottles of wine etc we could buy, should we choose. I didn't notice at first that the seal was broken, so presumably we were left a refilled bottle of milk, however it leaked all through the fridge. Imagine my delight at cleaning the fridge on my long awaited special night away. While I tried to put on a brave face for my husband, whose 70th birthday it was, what should have been a wonderful experience, was anything but.

Pros: Beautiful, secluded location in Northern NSW and great for kids. The unit had most things we'd need, and plenty of peace and quiet, and while it might not be luxury and need a little lick and polish, the linen was clean, the cupboards were stocked with essential utensils etc, the beds were comfy, and the fire brazier got a good work out. Plus, it was pet friendly, which is great. The dog loved it. Overall, we had a lovely, peaceful family holiday there.
Cons: There's a bit of maintenance to be done, but nothing too major.
