Pros (+) Beautiful gardens, situated in rice fields. Nice rooms, though not super luxury. Organic vegetables grown on property. Balinese owned, which is a plus because it contributes to local economy. Most luxury hotels here owned by wealthy investors from Jakarta or abroad. The hotel is well-located for excursions outside of Ubud. I would definitely return again.
Cons (-) The only drawback is that it is located a little far from the center of Ubud, The hotel has a shuttle, maybe a 10 minute drive if no traffic, but during the high season (July-August) the traffic on that road is horrible from maybe 11am to late afternoon, so it's difficult to get into town even with a car and driver.
