Guests and staff were welcoming, friendly, and neat. I loved the provided pasta and extensive common space.
Nice livingroom, kitchen with free pasta:), lots of interesting people, great location, computers with internet etc. It's such a nice&cozy place to stay!
Friendly staff. Possibility to join in activities such as cooking lession. The internet- lounge was nice. Good with free wi-fi.
The location was excellent Showers were not so comfortable.
location shower room
Location, PCs and internet access at hostel, friendliness and helfulness of staff. Everything was great. The weather in Stockholm was not too great. :o)
Great location, great common areas. breakfast is not worth!
Everything! Hotel is well located next to train station and shopping area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of common areas, outdoors terrace, clean kitchen, free computers , free internet, free pasta in the kitchen and free sauna! Also the rooms are great for being a hostel, comfortable mattresses, feather pillows, good bunk beds distribution... We were really lucky and have a free upgrade to the 6 people apartment with Ensuite shower, toilet and kitchenette. Also a very positive point is the Hostel security. You have to enter a security access code to get to your room and another one for the common areas and the Night Entrance. I would highly reccommend City BackPackers
The location of the hostel is excellent. The hostel is mainly for young people who can put up with crowds of people. Even in autumn there were many guests, but at the same time this a good opportunity to meet other peope and to have fun, especially if you travel by your own. I'd choose this hostel again.
The tour's (walking city, horror and sauna) that were run by the hostel were great. The free use of internet, free tea and coffee and pasta. Good location and walking distance to everything we needed. The only thing was that there were floor revovations going on right outside our room so this was a bit annoying
Very comfy bed! High quality linens. Fun, especially for aviation enthusiasts. Good water pressure in showers. Too pricey for what you get. My room, for which I paid over $100, had neither a sink or a toilet. The windows don't open and this can make it a bit stuffy, especially because of the air freshener that they pump into the room. The mats in the bathroom gets soaked after anyone showers which makes it a little unpleasant to use the bathroom afterwards.
Just amazing... walking around such a big plane and sleeping in it. Nice idea
The room, clean, nice and good beds, ok breakfast, ok service, easy to reach by car, train and buss. Nice hotel.
With free yellow buss [left side after arival exit] nr 14 easy to old 747. Safe elevator.Good frendly personal.Comfortable bed. Informatie also good. Actualy not a hostel. No cookingfacility, no fridge.Totally no comfort chairs at all; just sit on your bed or in the socialroom on a verry small I do not know. While before it just wase a sitting place.
Jumbo Stay Stockholm is a novel experience, very comfortable and quite convenient location. Shared bathrooms.
The hostel was really fun, clean, quiet and absolutely fine for a stop-over stay. I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for an exciting place to stay. It was a little difficult to find.
It was VERY close to the airport which was what I needed. I was able to just walk across the street, get on a free shuttle, and get to the airport in just a few minutes. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the whole idea of the plane was very fun. I actually had a private room with a toilet that was INSIDE an old engine. Fun! I got "ripped off" coming from the airport to the hotel - $25 US for a 5 minute ride. Certainly NOT the fault of the hotel.
Surprising, interesting, comfortable, excellent location, good value for the cost. I recommend it.
Clean and comfortable
I liked the staff, they were very helpfull, but most of all the location! Located within Arlanda airport, for an aircraft enthusiast it was excellent, with benches located just outside you can sit and watch the airport go by. One should note that I caught bus 14 from terminal 5 to get to the hostel. Not sure if it stops at the hostel but I got off at the SAS Radisson next to it and walked over (less than 5mins). The room was comfortable and the facilites were perfectly acceptable. The door was rather heavy to open and when closing it, it often required someone to ensure it was actually closed. The room had limited space, especially if you do get 4 people into one of the rooms.
It's a very unique experience so if you're looking for something special, you'll have a fantastic time! If you're looking for your typical hotel, then stay somewhere else. Ameer at the front desk couldn't have been any more helpful or kind. Great experience!
Clean, sharply designed features, bath facilities spotless and high-tech design. Great overall value. No
Awful people... Impolite, rude... Horrible... If they don't wont to deal with foreigners, they shouldn't offer a service like this. Believe me, when I realized this, I decided to move ride away. The woman, the woman at the reception... Awful woman, awful woman. She shouldn't be there.
The location is perfect for sightseeing the city center, just in 2 minutes walking distance from one of the central subway stations. And the area itself is very nice - designer bars and shops are just around the corner. I was as well happy with cosy atmosphere of rooms, quite comfortable common spaces and free WiFi. Price/quality ratio is very pleased. It is located in the basement, so the guests can't fully enjoy the street view from thier windows.
It,s a very firendy enviroment, you feel like at home! Very clean and warm
The stuff was very helpful. The rooms were clean. There was no breakfast. I think they should serve it also.
I liked the staying at this hostel because of good location (about half an hour walking from Gamla Stan), because of comfortable beds and because of value :))
Very stylish and modern for budget accomodation. A real flavour of Sweden. Being winter, Stockholm was extremely snowy. Therefore you tend to bring alot of debris in to your room inadvertently. Therefore a daily sweep of the room would have made the stay perfect. However, this is me being meticulous. Everything else was great value for money.
Optimal position, carefully designed even if it's a hostel, cool atmosphere! No free wifi but only a notebook with wifi connection freely avaible but only during reception opening hours.
The Old Town lodge is in one work great. I loved staying there.. I wouldn't mind staying in the hostel for the whole day, there are so many people with whom you can talk and have very interesting conversations with, I stayed in the dormity room, this room is truly the end! You have to see it when you go there!.. I think the dormity rooms are better than the normal 2 or more persons rooms. You do not have as much place but it is just great, you should see! Everything was totally great! I was very pleased with every single thing in the hostel!
The location of the hotel is simply great.
Easy to find this hotel. The location is really good. The reception opening time is too short and the room is too simple and crude.
the central location in the city center is good Room without windows, no breakfast, kitchen quite dirty, very noisy, a curtain as a door in the shower...
I was really impressed by a friendly atmosthere and welcoming stuff! The room was very clean and the location is perfect. I would definitely advice it!
It's near the Centre of Stockholm and also near the City terminalen, where you arrive when you come by plane. The Staff is nice and you can get towels and bed linen for little money. Everything was very uncomplicated. My boyfriend and me had to leave the morning of our departure, so there was noone at the reception, but we were able to leave the keys in a little box, so they checked us out automatically. Regarding noise, it was quite calm but maybe we were just lucky. There were no windows in our room, which was no problem with us, Causen we only spent the nights there. If you wanted to go to the showers or the toilets, you had to go through the kitchen, where people hung around all the time. Moreover the walls were very thin.
The staff(esp the red hair guy) is very friendly and tried his best to get WIFI for us..thumbs up to his service attitude
nothing the blankets were really dirty, actually there was blood spot on the blanket but fortunately they gave me a sheet for both blanket and pupils to cover. In the end that blanket should be changed
Clean; friendly staff; great kitchen facility (multiple fridges, stoves and sinks). Sheets were an additional cost
Very clean but the guster is a bitch
