Sanpolo1544 is an antique room (bed and breakfast), created inside a historic building founded in 1544 and located in the San Polo discrict, close to the famous Ducal Palace of Urbino, whose court was home to many of the most famous artists of the Renaissance. A stone marks on the side of the house the year 1544, when 3 medieval houses were joined together to form a palace that has been inhabited for centuries by the noble families of Ciurelli, Malatesta and Martorelli. The coat of arms and traces of these and other families are still present in the building.
