Beds were just a bit hard, even by Thai standards.
Location fantastic! Living room cozy with great view! Close to local market. Owner and daughter very friendly!
Not equipped for disabled people! Gangway to hotel boat very small. Only 2 shelfs! Bunkbed room very small and stuffy.
The view of the river and the possibility to obseve the lives of the indigenous people along the waterfront, together with the proximity of the interesting old market town and its imressive temple sites are unique.
The place is CRIMINALLY overpriced. Booking.com should not offer such back pack style of accommodation at such rates, providing completely misleading information up front. Not only were the staff rather unfriendly, especially on the check-in, and the room facilities including toilet and shower entirely inadequate and unclean, also what was offered as breakfast was unacceptable, not even including a regular, non-sweetened, non-creamed black cup of coffee, or a regular, non-sweetened, non-creamed tea of any sort. Both can be procured in any super market in instant form, for little money.
The second house keeper was very nice, she helped me carry my big luggage up to the river bank. The scenery was nice, drafting at the Uthai River, you could enjoy breeze and some views.
Room was small and I think 1200 Baht for one night without bathroom was not very worthy, and the before I moved in, someone didn't clean it carefully as I found a big yellow hair knot on the floor, that was kinda disgusting.
