The location was beautiful. The breakfast was good.
The mattress was rather hard and the pillows were too large and too hard. There were also no hooks to hang things on and there was no shaving mirror and no shelf in the bathroom.
Very isolated at night with no lighting on approach lane.
The fantastic warm friendly welcome from Mariza treated us like old friends. The lady cook at breakfast lovely and smiley. Position of mill, down quiet lane. Quirky ness of B & B. We arrived and shown to our room, an extra heater had been put in room as a bit chilly. Tea and coffee in room. Bottle of tap water. We had cake from cafe delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. We went to local pub (excellent food), was lent a torch by staff for the dark lane. In the summer months will be beautiful and tranquil.
The accommodation is comfortable and the setting is stunning. The view from our room was just of the tree branches but since we weren't in the room for long it wasn't a big deal. It was lovely to walk down by the water after breakfast. The room was comfortable. We shared a bathroom which was fine for one night but any longer wouldn't have been ideal. The cleaner who we saw in the morning was friendly.
We didn't feel particularly welcomed by the woman in charge. She snapped a few times at us when we had a couple of questions. She obviously felt we should know the answers without asking her. This happened on arrival and when we saw her to get a drink from the coffee shop the next day.
Location was lovely.ideal place for walking and cycling.High street was not far away.need a car to get there.
Booked a room for £80.but was up in the attic. Will pay for a room down stairs for my next visit.
