Pros: First class.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent tea/coffee available, great front desk support
Cons: Not much hanging space for long items
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice room, it faced the back so was very quiet, nicely furnished and a good size, nice ensuite. The bar and restaurant was nice with helpful staff, though food a little on the pricey side, though the meal we had was very good. Breakfasts were very sizeable (could have done with half the amount for half the price!)
Cons: - Breakfast is NOT included, but this was not flagged up at the time of booking, so an extra £10 per person per night to pay on arrival if we wanted breakfast (or £12.95 if you didn't pay in advance but decided on the day). We heard plenty of other guests being surprised that breakfast was not included too, so it clearly needs to be spelled out better. Currently, it feels as though this fact is hidden, and a bit scam-like / hard-sell techniques on arrival. - Too hot to sleep - the duvet provided was a thick winter one despite it being a warm period in autumn when we stayed. (We're still using a 4 tog summer duvet at home.) Even wearing nothing in bed it was too hot, so we had to turn the air con on to cool the room down (which is noisy, so we didn't sleep well) but it was still too hot in bed. It would be better to provide a thinner duvet with a bedspread / throw on top which people can use as an additional blanket if needed, so guests can more easily tailor the bedding to their required sleeping temperature.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super comfy, nice choice of food and drink, all round excellent !!
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent

7.0 Good
Pros: close to family. breakfast good.
Cons: the last time we stayed here we had abetter room, this time the room was very small and cold. heating seemed to be on a timer so when we came in late at night the room was freezing and we had to put jumpers on to go to bed
6.0 Good
Cons: Breakfast is not very reach in terms of choice. In the room you can easily hear the noise from the other rooms.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff..... the service.... the amenities..... the room was such a pleasant surprise definitely will be staying again no doubt!
Cons: Maybe the view but that can't be helped....
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We didn't have breakfast but the free bottled milk and water were great added touches
Cons: a plug socket by the bed!

Pros: The staff, location and food was excellent next time I come to the UK via Heathrow will certainly use The WatersEdge again.
Cons: The stay was too short
4.6 Okay
Pros: The location was perfect for us
Cons: The breakfast was not as described it was a box of cereal in the room. The room was not as described in the pictures The paint was peeling off the walls, the sofa was broken, the bed was uncomfortable and had a join in the middle that was uncomfortable to sleep on.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A great location in the summer months to sit by the canal with a glass of wine. There is secure parking, the rooms are excellent and the staff are friendly. Not the fanciest place to stay, but certainly nice in the summer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed extremely comfortable. Staff veey welcoming and efficient.
Cons: Outside of building.
5.0 Okay
Pros: There wasn't much we liked about this accommodation except that it was close to an event we needed to be at. As well, the main room and bathroom were spacious.
Cons: The carpet was disgustingly dirty. The walls were scuffed and dirty. The towels were supposedly white, but were very dingy, thin and rough. The headboard was fabric, which I find to be very unsanitary. Breakfast is left in the fridge free of charge, which is few slices of ham, cheeze, rolls, fruit and 'fresh' milk for coffee and cereal. The milk was sour and turned us off of everything! Made us wonder if everything else was 'fresh'. No hair dryer in the room, had to ask for one. You need a cell phone, no phone in the room. Reception does not open until 10ish so no one to go to if you need something. Glad we only had one night stay!

Pros: The room was comfortable and a good shower. Lovely touch with the continental breakfast ingredients in the room.
Cons: The bed! Way too many springs poking in my back. Please replace the mattress or buy some toppers!

Cons: I've stayed here before and everytime staff have been very help nothing is an issue staff are very friendly and helpful in anything you need .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
5.4 Okay
Pros: This could only be described as a budget room. I requested a bath but there are none and I wasn't informed. Kids shouting outside the room up until 11.40 and then it was quiet til 3.00 am when they all came back. Shower was a fixed type which means all sorts of contortions have to be achieved to rinse off.
Cons: Shower. No noisy kids outside.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff ,location ,
Cons: No ac ,no value compared to prices charged, u have to pay for toothbrush kit etc. My kid was in Brunel so I had opted for this otherwise no reason to stay in this hotel it's more like a hostel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect to drop my son at Uni
5.0 Okay
Cons: The solution to the room switch was a refund of 10 pounds or no fee cancellation. All this happened at our arrival. A email informing us of the change needed to be sent so we could choose to make a new booking or accept the smaller room before September 24 arrival.

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: the location was perfect for a little get away trip for me and my partner as it’s so busy in london and we don’t get to see much nature. a peaceful location where we could spend time together away from all our stress. the room designs were very modern and classy and very pretty as compared to other hotels, it was much more cosy and welcoming. it felt more like my own bedroom rather than a hotel with plain white walls. i was also happy with the online booking, as it gave me an option on if i’d like my room on the ground floor or upstairs. the bed was very neatly done and very comfortable. the bathroom was clean too and the design again matched the rest of the room.
Cons: overall i was very pleased with my stay however i just want to be honest and say that i wanted to help out with the cleaning of the room so i went to take off the bed sheets and there were a few stains on the duvet which did make a little uncomfortable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything you need, perfect little countryside place.
Cons: Roads around the property have massive pot holes, I had to get my tyre fixed! Nothing against the hotel though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food and service was excellent- rooms / bed was fabulous
Cons: Nothing
5.0 Okay
Cons: There was no hot water for the bath or shower in the morning. I spoke to other people who also said the same....
6.7 Good
Pros: Clean, modern, comfortable, polite staff
Cons: Access is via a mile of rutted, potholed suspension-wrecking single track road, with no signage visible at the start of it. Even without the two deeply flooded sections on that day this would have challenged anything but a 4x4. This cart track (for that’s what it is) seems to be completely unmaintained. Imagine getting out again at 0800 with an appointment to keep, only to find the road blocked with a stream of vehicles coming the other way for some conference or team event. The access problems alone would deter me from booking again.
7.5 Good
Pros: Evening meal service staff were efficient and attentive. Steak was cooked as requested.
Cons: Buffet breakfast had limited choice, cooked breakfast was poor: Eggs had a dried crust over the yolk.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good buffet breakfast and a really good location
Cons: The bathroom could have been cleaner and the room needed a hoover
9.0 Excellent
Pros: View from my window
Cons: My room very dirty and the bathroom. Only 1 mug available for 2 people and 1 towel too.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Room was very clean, equipment within the room was all good
Cons: Could have been easier to warm the room, radiator was unresponsive

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The arrangement was room only (I left before 6.30 am). I was visiting my daughter in hospital just 4 minutes walk down the road, so view and environment were not an issue. There was safe off-road parking all day. The owner could not have been more friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Thank you
7.1 Good
Pros: Lots of parking. Big comfy rooms. There is a private garden at the back of property too.
7.5 Good
Pros: The bedroom has plenty of space. It was clean all the everything from plates, mugs and etc was provided. Parking space was decent, during my visit there was at least 7 cars parked. There is a close place to eat and a Tesco just 3 mins away to buy the basic essentials or alcohol. The bus stop is just in front of the property which makes it convenient to commute to various parts of Uxbridge. Overall, its a great property. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone looking for accommodation for a very reasonable price.
Cons: I didn't see any reception or anyone that welcomed us to the property, check out was not explained, we just left the building worrying if its gonna be fine to do so. The lights on the hall way was not working during our stay, the door of the bathroom was left open so that the light from it illuminate the hallway. It was better than pure darkness! Everything else was good!
7.1 Good
Pros: I was very quite and with a good staff information
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean. Large bathroom and shower
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice room. One of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. Faultless Brilliant Please make sure my comments are passed on to the owner. Thanks
Cons: The window blinds have 2 or 3 small gaps when closed where they meet. 2 or3 other guests that walk past keep peeping in. Frustrating.

Cons: Mattress desperately needs replacing, springs poking through under cover
7.5 Good

7.5 Good

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Worthless for money
Cons: Stinking smelling good for nothing. If you see it please run. It completely waste of money to book Oakland as a please for people to sleep. With the price of £150 for two night.Please. Run or throw your money to the bin. Completely disgusting.
6.7 Good
Pros: Friendly owner
Cons: Cobwebs galore
7.1 Good
Pros: The location was very nice, the cost is high, but is very close to London.
Cons: Cleanliness of the bathrooms

Pros: Very nice place. Clean, quiet, comfortable and charming. Owners are lovely! Please call them directly for a better deal and more options/information 01753653003. Great position for Pinewood. Would definitely stay here again! Free wifi - the login is in the room, as are some drinks facilities. Tea/coffee/juice, various cereals and a toaster/bread/small butter and jam packages are available for breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was bright and clean. Breakfast ok, no warm food.
Cons: I booked a room with private bathroom and when I arrived I discovered that the bathroom was shared. The description in booking.com was not clear at all. They need to change it. I will follow up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed here because I had business in West London on the following day, and Oaklands was conveniently placed for it. I received a very warm welcome, the room was spacious and spotlessly clean and I slept very well. The toast and cereal for the self-service breakfast the following morning gave me a good start to the day and the stay was pleasant and good value for money. Highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing. It was a very pleasant stay.
7.9 Good
Pros: We were made to feel very welcome
Cons: The property is a bit dated. But considering what we paid it was excellent value for money.
6.7 Good
Pros: Good beds, clean room, and friendly staff.
Cons: Toilet not flushing properly, even after several tries. Shower had very low preassure, especially upstairs.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Was greeted on arrival an immediately was made to feel very welcome. Friendly host that made us feel like family more than guest . Thank you so much
Cons: There was nothing about this stay I could say that I didn’t like.
10.0 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Family-run B&B in a convenient location. Met the owner upon check-in who was lovely and very accommodating. Room was warm and a good choice was provided for continental breakfast. Very close to Hillingdon Hospital which was was perfect for me as a had a placement there for a few days.
Cons: Room might feel a little small if you're staying for longer or aren't out and about during the day, but to be honest the price is very good for what you get and the breakfast/snacks. I'd definitely recommend the place :)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location, Great welcome, Nice people, Scrupulously clean, Value for money, And a 'help yourself' continental breakfast in your room, ( all in the price )...
Cons: If you find a better place for the price....(Don't tell 'anyone')...

5.8 Okay
Pros: Convenient location, hence the booking.
Cons: No immediate reception...had to call a mobile number to get someone to come to the door to allow access to the property. Not being told in advance that their internet had gone down and I was expected to search for an ATM at night to get cash to pay for the room. Having people banging on my door at around mid-night trying to gain access by trying a key and shouting "who's in the room". Some chap caterwauling at 1:00am in the front part of the property causing other guests to venture out of the building to investigate. This persisted for a considerable period of time. I probably got about 4 hours sleep! A note in reception addressed "dear landlord"!!! Not entirely sure what kind of facility this property provided!
5.0 Okay
Pros: The accommodation was in the process of substantial re-organisation - inside and out. While our room was clean, it was under-furnished. Most of the building was not really in a condition to be let.
Cons: The entire front area was being re-developed and was not really suitable either for parking or, indeed, for walkinf across.
7.5 Good
Pros: Room was clean and very good shower
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Very little
Cons: Shabby exterior, downstairs room being used for very dodgy purposes till late at night, being woken up at 6am to pay for the room because card machine wasn’t working on arrival so had to get cash. Shower took ages to work and was very poor when it did work
5.0 Okay
Pros: Roon inside cleanliness; Location, Environment;safety;staff care
Cons: Door lock need repair/replacement
4.6 Okay
Pros: The location was near to Brunel University in a suburban street with fast food outlets nearby.
Cons: The bathroom floor was flooded, and had a soaking mat to cover the water. The environment was very dowdy and unkept it was not a pleasant hotel.
7.1 Good
Pros: The room was rather clean, the bathroom looked exceptional, the facilities were nicer than expected, the TV worked (not always a given), the price was good, it was very close to Brunel Uni (I travelled for work). Considering the residential neighborhood, some restaurants and shops were quite accessible. Bus lines essentially stop right in front of the lodge.
Cons: I first booked one night's stay, and then booked another additional night separately. When I arrived there was no mention of my second night, and I tried to desperately explain to the housekeeper that I had booked a second night and had already paid as well. After my stay I received an email that I didn't show up for my second night, and that I would be refunded. Just a bit weird (their booking system is an actual, handwritten book). Housekeeper was nice, but I had some trouble communicating (I'm not native English). The bathroom was very nice, but people seemed to smoke outside the windows/ventilation system frequently, which lead to the bathroom smelling of smoke horribly all the time. The shower also didn't give much water, which made showering difficult (on the second day, there was also no hot water). The smoking also continued until late in the night, making sleeping a bit difficult due to the noise of the people. There was no shower gel, but a bar of soap was provided.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice and clean.
Cons: The wi-fi "key" didn't work, so I was unable to prepare for the next day. Good job I checked the front door key - which also didn't work, and I was faced with the prospect of not eating that night! It didn't tale long to get attention - the lady came back and sorted it. (The guest-house is not attended at night.) The rear car-parking area was very shabby and not altogether inviting, when you first arrive. It looked like there was work going on at the property - perhaps they are attending to the outside. I do have to say however, that the hostess was lovely, and made up for a lot!
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nowt
Cons: Dirty, no toilet paper in bathroom, cup dirty and room smelled of stale cigarette smoke
7.1 Good
Pros: Bathroom 5* just need to upgrade shower
Cons: Room very basic Outside needs attention no signs to say lodge

2.9 Mediocre
Cons: Room and bathroom was untidy, bin in the room still had rubbish from previous people in it.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The room and en-suite were disgustingly dirty, very shabby and in a poor state of repair. It was a hell hole, filthy, grimy, dirty cups for tea, no milk provided, just a health hazard. The shower cubicle was full of other peoples’ hair and full sized bars of soap (in the shower and on the basin)?for use by every guest...Really??
5.0 Okay
Pros: The sheets and towels were lovely and clean. The staff were friendly. It appears that some much needed redecorating has been taking place.
Cons: The bathroom was grim! The mats on the floor were stained and I could not tell what colour they were meant to.be. the tiles were dirty all down the side of the door, the walls looked as though damp or mould had just been painted over.the bathroom door did not shut. The bath was grubby but the basin and toilet were clean.the pedestal was dirty. Fan beside the bed was filthy. Only 1 tea bag 1 teaspoon of coffee no milk or sugar. Very heavy thick quilt on the bed in 32 degree heat.
5.0 Okay
Pros: It was quite cheap
Cons: As per the other reviews on here (which I should have read first:), it was quite dirty, stains on bath mats and some old jam or something stuck to the teaspoon next to the one tea bag
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: The furnitures were rickety and old. The shower regulator for hot or cold water was faulty, only very hot water came out. There was mould in the shower cubicle. The bed sheets had old stains on it.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. It was absolutely disgusting. I made the mistake of booking this hastily and not looking at the reviews. There were numerous unidentifiable fluids splashed on the walls of room, I did not want to touch a thing in the bathroom and the thought of showering there made me feel sick. It also has the stench of cigarettes and sweaty musk. Horrible. We were at a party in the evening so thankfully only had to bear a few hours here to get some sleep in before we could leave the next day. I’m shocked this place is allowed to remain open. So awful.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The staff member in the office was very friendly and polite.
Cons: The room was dirty... soiled towels/mats on bathroom floor... window part boarded up with no locks/handles... dirty towel with tobacco stains covering a bedside table with a broken leg... 2 of 4 pillows soiled. No hanging space or any hooks to hang clothes... no iron or ironing board ... no tea/coffee/milk available ...room had strong odour of tobacco smoke... bathroom was not clean
6.7 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and convenient location. The bed was comfy. 5 minute walk from the tube station so great for transport.
Cons: Generally dirty and run down but cannot moan for the price!
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Bed sheets were clean
Cons: Dirty and the plumber left fittings all over the bathroom
5.4 Okay
Pros: Only the location as it was close for what we needed.
Cons: The room wasn’t very clean, broken bathroom window, broken leg on beside table, boarded up window, TV remote covered in dust. The room door looked like it had an Police enforcer used on it. It’s a shame as the staff were very nice. Would not stay here again even if only for a over nighter.

7.0 Good
Pros: close to family. breakfast good.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was beautiful in front of a stream and you felt far removed from the hustle and bustle of modern city life. The breakfast was very good and they had a side table with a toaster so you could have toast and a selection of spreads.
Cons: Nothing to report

7.1 Good
Pros: did not stay for breakfast
Cons: Mattress desperately needs replacing, springs poking through under cover
7.5 Good
Pros: Able to sleep or family of five comfortably
7.5 Good
Pros: Design of room and really clean
Cons: No sink in room
