Pros. Close to bus line great price
Pros. Loved the location of this hotel because it was centrally located between the airport and cruise terminal. The hotel assisted us with all transfers to and from both. Additionally, their is a bus stop right in front of the hotel with quick and inexpensive (€3 round-trip) into central Venice. And the hotel conveniently sells the bus tickets. The restaurant and bar were nice. Food was good. Room excellent and hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
Pros. After spendng a few days in Venice we needed some peace and the HIlton was perfect. Only a short ride to the islands via the bus. But the luxury of a hotel with all the amenities nearby. Visit Mestre for an alternate experience and a more authentic feel. Staff at the hotel were very helpful. Restaurant was good, need a more expanded menu. Had the Casesar salad and had to return as the salad was swiming in dressing. Soup was very good and the house salad huge and well presented. Staff in the restaurant were outstanding.
Cons. had to contact front desk to adjust room temperature. Shower was oddly placed and difficult to control water spilling out.
Pros. The property is what one should expect from a HGI. There is a lounge area with outside seating. A pool, a restaurant with inside and outside seating. Hotel offers paid for buffet breakfast. Rooms are nice and beds comfortable. The best thing is the bus line to Venice (only 2 stops) is across the parking lot. Hotel offers bus and water bus (a necessity) tickets at the desk. Easy!! Less than 10 mins and you are at the start of Venice!! Half the price of any place in Venice and conveniently located!
Cons. Breakfast wasn't included. Wifi is free but not on a secured channel
Cons. Left something behind and was told they did not have
Pros. Clean
Cons. N/A
Pros. Ease reaching from airport for late arrival or jet lagged traveler. Busy, so early check in, even for gold Honors members, seems rare, at least on weekend. Staff was pleasant. I liked that I could get bus/vaporetto pass there -- and recommend it since you'll need to travel by both to get into Venice. We had facility difficulties...the tea pot blew the lighting! They responded quickly and fixed the lights, ut never provided us with a working tea kettle. Also did not offer any reimbursement or accommodation. For anyone with mobility issues, know that returning from Venice on the bus lets you off across the street, where the only way to cross is a very high overpass with stairs. You can, however, request the hotel to send their van across the street to pick you up. WE found this out because we asked how to get across. Convenient to airport.
Cons. Having a meal in the restaurant....not bad, but p
Pros. Hotel is not ideally situated for walking to anything, but a bus stops right in front. Exceptionally clean with modern, beautiful rooms. Staff is very courteous and helpful for travelers in need of directions and help getting around. Highly recommended.
Pros. Location, parking, cleanliness, staff
Cons. Room temperature hard to adjust and works only when actually in the room. I know there are energy conservation laws but it detracts from the comfort
