Pros. The staff makes up for any perceived shortfall in amenities. We requested a room on a lower floor and they did their best to accommodate us with a room on the second floor. We booked for one night only to begin our Venice stay a day earlier than originally planned, we were lucky to get a bed here on such short notice. We left something behind in the room and did not realize it until over 24 hours later. When we went back and asked about it, they located it for us, in a bag marked with our name. We were very impressed and appreciative.
Cons. We knew booking that there were four floors with no lift, but they do their best to accommodate senior requests for lower floors. There was a courtyard being used by a bar, below our window. We thought the noise might be a nuisance but there was good music and they did not party too late.
Pros. Very close in to transportation and San Marcos Square.
