What are the pros of staying at Bernardinu B&B House?
Great location, comfortable and charming. Excellent location, super friendly staff. Amazing apartment in the heart of Vilnius! The room is so spacious and has a decidedly Old Town vibe, with pieces of exposed original murals and brick to give you a sense of history. Very comfortable and pleasant stay, the historical decoration and vibe is very thoughtful.
What are the cons of staying at Bernardinu B&B House?
No breakfast due to covid restrictions. Very basic and shared bathroom. It was a bit drafty, as old houses tend to be, especially with big windows-- but those do provide a nice light, and there were extra woolly blankets to wrap yourself into, if you are a chilly cat. The apartment itself was merely okay. The breakfast is expensive and needs to be arranged specifically, and this was the first time I've ever had to pay this much for a toddler crib.

Opt for a Room with a View
Several guests mentioned that the views from the rooms were spectacular. Opting for a room with a balcony facing the fountain comes highly recommended.
Consider Noise Levels
Some guests reported noise disturbances, particularly from the wooden floors. If you are sensitive to noise, consider requesting a room away from high-traffic areas or with carpeted floors.
Check for Drafts
Due to the historic nature of the building, some rooms may experience drafts. Consider bringing extra layers or requesting additional blankets if you are sensitive to cold.
Be Mindful of Shared Facilities
Several guests noted that the shared bathroom and basic amenities were not suitable for their preferences. If you prefer more privacy and modern facilities, consider booking a room with a private bathroom.
Parking Considerations
While the hotel offers parking, some guests found it to be expensive. It may be worth exploring alternative parking options nearby to save on costs.
Clarify Breakfast Arrangements
Due to COVID restrictions, the hotel does not offer breakfast. If this is an important amenity for you, consider making alternative arrangements or booking a room with kitchen facilities.
Be Aware of Check-in Process
The hotel offers contactless check-in, and some guests appreciated the independence it provided. However, if you prefer a more hands-on check-in experience, it's advisable to communicate your preference with the hotel in advance.
Consider Room Size
Some guests found the rooms to be small, especially for longer stays. If space is a priority for you, consider inquiring about room sizes or upgrading to a larger room if available.
Explore Nearby Attractions
The hotel's central location near key attractions and restaurants was praised by many guests. Take advantage of its proximity to the main pedestrian street, cathedral, and restaurants for a convenient and enjoyable stay.
Address Concerns Promptly
If you encounter any issues during your stay, such as leaks or room preferences, don't hesitate to reach out to the staff. Many guests reported that the staff were responsive and accommodating when issues were brought to their attention.
